Welcome to New Arcana!

If you're new to Shin Megami Tensei, this place can still be for you, so no need to dash towards the doors! Your first stop should be the introduction board so we can introduce ourselves. Then right after that, feel free to go through our vital information to get a good feel of the site. We hope you enjoy your stay, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to post them here. Ciao!
Shin Megami Tensei and Persona belong to ATLUS. We own nothing, and have simply used their data to create a world of our own. They are the true geniuses behind the scenes.
—Strength Name: Glorious Melee Combat —Description: There's nothing more manly than two warriors shanking each other with a piece of metal, at least that's what Albrecht thinks. This love for melee combat makes the Forgotten even more effective at it granting a 10% Dex damage with melee soulbounds.
—Strength Name: Langschwert —Description: As one of the Black Lions, Albrecht received intense military training and his weapon of choice was the long sword. He know effectively how to use one and various techniques, such as half-swording and sundering. This strength allows Albrecht to perform two dexterity attacks in combat.
—Weakness Name:Melee Fighter —Description: Despite having accesses to ranged weapons, it is far from being his field of expertise, his focus on melee combat required that he sacrificed some ranged combat training. Gun attacks deal 10% more damage.
—Weakness Name: Not GLORIOUS MELEE COMBAT —Description: Gun fights are alright, if you are into that sort of thing. Certainly not nearly as good as GLORIOUS MELEE COMBAT. Albrecht deals 10% less damage with Gun.
In spite of the fact that Susan made such an odd request, Cecilia oddly didn't seem fazed by it, nodding her head in confirmation with a stoic and unmoving expression. When the message appeared she'd nod an additional time, but with that nod ended the communications for now. Until Susan or Albrecht asked something else of her she'd simply continue to advance forward.

Susan would remain relatively silent after speaking to "T" and placing her mark. It's not that she did not have much to say, rather she did not have much to say she wanted overheard. The simple fact that a dangerous psychopath was watching their every move made her paranoid. Once they reached the light she would inspect the base. This one was free-floating, which made things harder. She sighed loudly and closed her eyes for a moment. Nothing could ever be simple. She had hoped to meet this "T" already so that she could be prepared to spend the rest of her night questioning him instead, though at least she would have coffee and bathroom breaks and could take a shower at some point in the evening. She was fairly unsuited for combat as it was, only the pure adrenaline coursing through her veins kept her moving at any rapid pace.
She looked down each and all hallways. The leftmost hallway held a reflection that seemed to bounce the wrong way, she would save that for later. Pointing it down would not do, and right seemed like it lead to a wall and they could not be guaranteed mirrors on treads. The remaining choice was the direction they were headed before, which already held a mirror that seemingly pointed around a corner. Without saying a word, Susan would flick the switch and angle the light northward. It wasn't a guarantee but the odds were on their side. She waved after her comrades to follow as she broke into another jog, suddenly feeling the taxing of her muscles catch up with her but she would persevere.

With a mental warning given Susan would take off in a trail of ink at high speeds. The sooner they were finished the better.
Priestess Arcana: +5% to Tactical Support skills. Rearguard: Support skills (tactical skills, healing, buffs and debuffs) receive a 5% boost in terms of potency (if they refer to percents in how they work.) and your SP and Luck will be raised by 40%. However, in the Rearguard your attack stats will be lowered by 50%.
Strength: Professional Courtesy - Charm and Rage have their success rates lowered by 15% against Susan. Strength: I'm the One in Control! - Once per withdrawal from Persona Overdose Susan can choose the target of a skill she uses instead of rolling randomly. She makes this choice after rolling for her target. The skill is still rolled randomly like normal.
Weakness: Not According to Plan - Panic and Fear have an extra 15% chance to succeed against Susan. Weakness: Rip Off the Bandage - When Susan is suffering the negative effects after Persona Overdose she loses 10% of her total HP every turn. This damage can and will knock her unconscious if she isn't careful but it can't result in her death since her Persona won't willingly kill its host.

When they stopped moving Susan could track the beam of light around the room and out the other side, leading her to believe there was a path ahead. As she rounded the corner she quickly halted at it with a raised hand. Luckily the beam of light would mask Seshat's own glow, giving them the element of surprise. The blinding would certainly help in any case. She pointed forward and pumped her fist to signify that combat was encroaching and rushed in to engage the enemy with her P90 raised. Only when she neared the enemy did she finally speak and let loose a frustrated shout. She was sick and tired of being here.
"On the floor, NOW! Comply immediately or else...!"

The businesswoman stared barefaced at the demon and the couple for a moment, processing the events before her. She could have no reservations about this, or else they would be killed. Besides, they were clearly in the right this go around. The couple was associating with an obvious demon, they were resisting, and the demon was armed. The Cadets were in their authority to use lethal force if it came to it. She pointed forward to direct her Persona, who manifested and threw bolts of light at the monster.

T. That was the Jest that they were aiming to bring down. He saw the other in the mirror and marked the face down well before being slightly distracted by the chaos that was team separation. Shiina, the dog, and Joseph went one way with Sera while the rest of the team followed Maria. It would’ve been an even split if it wasn’t for himself. However, he didn’t mind being the odd ball out. He ended up going with Maria’s team, his response to Susan changing her mind and marking Mr. Frost as her eyes instead of him was none.
He didn’t mind it as he took a back seat to all the fighting and simply watched as things unfolded. He followed them through the mirror games, observed the way the crowds behaved along with the enemies they faced. While some were demons, a great chunk were the possessed humans that was part of Jest. It was uncomfortable watching people go down, but the more he observed and the more they appeared, the more numb he found himself becoming to watching them go down.
Susan seemed to be trying to spare them. A noble cause, but as he came out of reserves and took his place on the battle the young man did not see a reason to spare the enemy. Keeping an eye on Ms. Groves who had been displaying odd behavior earlier, Haru would take his position on the field awaiting command.
Note: + 15% boost in damage resistance against physical-based skills and +15% boost to their Ppstr. > Soulbound Does Tier 2 damage
So 38*.15=5+38=42 Ppstr From Vanguard +25% to defenses. +10% to attacks -30% to SP and Luck. This calculated into numbers above
Information Box:
> Action: Switching out and taking Sumi's (Cap's Character) place on the field. Damage Taken: None
”Passives/Position:
Passives in play: > Slash Master | Increases Slash based dexterity damage output by 30% | Passive | Tier 2 > Soul Skill Name: Boost Level 1 Persona Name: Aquarius Tier: Tier 1 Cost: Passive Type of Damage: It is a boost in power. Description: Boost is a passive that gives 15% more power to Haru’s dex (slash) attacks.
Position: Vanguard: The foremost cadets. Those who specialize in being at the front of the battle would want to take this role in combat. Cadets who take this role have a latent boost to defense stats by 25% and their attacking stats are raised by 10%. However, their SP and luck stat are lowered by 30%.
Rearguard: The team at the backlines. In this formation, you'd usually want to put your support oriented members. Support skills (tactical skills, healing, buffs and debuffs) receive a 5% boost in terms of potency (if they refer to percents in how they work.) and your SP and Luck will be raised by 40%. However, in the Rearguard your attack stats will be lowered by 50%.
ZEL-HYMN.mp4 | Used to sway a weaker Demon to the user's side; adding it to their current party. Only two Demons may be used in total (some may refuse your will). Demons do not stay with user once leaving topic/dungeon. Has a 50% chance of being successful [Sub / Bosses Immune] | 35 SP | Tier 3
Targets Turdak. Successful on a 2.
Random number (1,2) :
1
Passives:
Invigorate 1 | Recovers 3 SP on each user turn | Passive | Tier 1
Soul Skill Name: Dispatched in Mankind's Darkest Hour Persona Name: Svalinn Tier: Tier 1 Cost: Passive Type of Damage: N/A Description: If an ally's health drops below 25%, the effectiveness of Cecilia's healing and buff skills will increase by 10%. This boost will last for the next four turns and will be taken into account when she heals/buffs any member of the party (including herself). It does not stack on top of itself and can only be acquired once per battle.
Relevant(?) Strengths/Weaknesses:
—Strength Name: To Protect and Serve —Description: Though Cecilia may not be able to harm and damage her enemies, she can utilize her soulbound in other ways. If she guards her soulbound shield will increase her PEnd and MEnd by 20% for the turn.
—Weakness Name: Pacifistic —Description: Cecilia cannot and will not bring herself to harm a living being. The violence she witnessed during the Eternal Divide fucked with her developing mind to the point where the mere thought of hurting a living entity on any level or scale sickens her. As a result, she can never attack someone directly regardless of the circumstances. Her soulbound cannot be used to inflict damage, she doesn't get to carry a side-arm with her, her Persona can't use attack skills, she can't slap/punch/stab someone, etc. It doesn't matter if she's about to die or even if it means the downfall of the government -- she simply cannot bring herself to stain her hands with the blood of another. And while she does accept it as a necessary evil and will allow the rest of her party to kill, she will always advocate for a more peaceful route if her opinion is asked for -- especially when it's humans she's dealing with.
—Weakness Name: Prejudiced —Description: Cecilia will refuse to negotiate with Demons unless no one else in her party is willing and/or able to.
—Weakness Name: Sweet Tooth —Description: Cecilia has a love of sweets and will take her sweet time (no pun intended) enjoying the flavor. HP recovering items restore 5% less HP than they usually would.
