Welcome to Persona :: New Arcana! A Persona RPG site!
Welcome to New Arcana!
Welcome, Welcome! You've probably guessed by now, but this is a text-based Persona RPG site for Atlus fans, by Atlus fans. If you're new to Shin Megami Tensei, this place can still be for you, so no need to dash towards the doors! Your first stop should be the introduction board so we can introduce ourselves. Then right after that, feel free to go through our vital information to get a good feel of the site. We hope you enjoy your stay, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to post them here. Ciao!
Shin Megami Tensei and Persona belong to ATLUS. We own nothing, and have simply used their data to create a world of our own. They are the true geniuses behind the scenes.
If nothing else this was further proof that the Cadets were justified in their actions against the controlled civilians. Brain washed or not they were a threat, even if they were being controlled she could only do her best to bring them down non-lethally. In the absence of diplomacy she would have to use violence, there was no other choice. As the couple rushed in and attempted to strike her across the head Susan saw this coming long in advance, which was why she kept her distance. She didn't immediately move away but sidestepped the strike at the last moment to reveal Seshat, who had manifested behind her for a surprise counter attack. It swept its long paper claws upward in a disorienting blast of light point-blank at the psychotic couple.
Priestess Arcana: +5% to Tactical Support skills. Rearguard: Support skills (tactical skills, healing, buffs and debuffs) receive a 5% boost in terms of potency (if they refer to percents in how they work.) and your SP and Luck will be raised by 40%. However, in the Rearguard your attack stats will be lowered by 50%.
Strength: Professional Courtesy - Charm and Rage have their success rates lowered by 15% against Susan. Strength: I'm the One in Control! - Once per withdrawal from Persona Overdose Susan can choose the target of a skill she uses instead of rolling randomly. She makes this choice after rolling for her target. The skill is still rolled randomly like normal.
Weakness: Not According to Plan - Panic and Fear have an extra 15% chance to succeed against Susan. Weakness: Rip Off the Bandage - When Susan is suffering the negative effects after Persona Overdose she loses 10% of her total HP every turn. This damage can and will knock her unconscious if she isn't careful but it can't result in her death since her Persona won't willingly kill its host.

He’d watch as his comarade got out of the way of an attack, highly impressed with how far the woman had come. There were still some areas that could be worked on yes, but for the most part when it came down to business, the woman did what was needed to get the job done. Now he could only pray he could do the same as he summoned the familiar cackling being that was his persona. Focusing on the same mad couple, he would send his persona upon them.
Note: + 15% boost in damage resistance against physical-based skills and +15% boost to their Ppstr. > Soulbound Does Tier 2 damage
So 38*.15=5+38=42 Ppstr From Vanguard +25% to defenses. +10% to attacks -30% to SP and Luck. This calculated into numbers above

Rearguard: The team at the backlines. In this formation, you'd usually want to put your support oriented members. Support skills (tactical skills, healing, buffs and debuffs) receive a 5% boost in terms of potency (if they refer to percents in how they work.) and your SP and Luck will be raised by 40%. However, in the Rearguard your attack stats will be lowered by 50%.
Light of Latmus | Raises all allies' Defense by 30% for 3 turns. | 12 SP | Tier 3
35% as usual I believe.
Passives:
Invigorate 1 | Recovers 3 SP on each user turn | Passive | Tier 1
Soul Skill Name: Dispatched in Mankind's Darkest Hour Persona Name: Svalinn Tier: Tier 1 Cost: Passive Type of Damage: N/A Description: If an ally's health drops below 25%, the effectiveness of Cecilia's healing and buff skills will increase by 10%. This boost will last for the next four turns and will be taken into account when she heals/buffs any member of the party (including herself). It does not stack on top of itself and can only be acquired once per battle.
Relevant(?) Strengths/Weaknesses:
—Strength Name: To Protect and Serve —Description: Though Cecilia may not be able to harm and damage her enemies, she can utilize her soulbound in other ways. If she guards her soulbound shield will increase her PEnd and MEnd by 20% for the turn.
—Weakness Name: Pacifistic —Description: Cecilia cannot and will not bring herself to harm a living being. The violence she witnessed during the Eternal Divide fucked with her developing mind to the point where the mere thought of hurting a living entity on any level or scale sickens her. As a result, she can never attack someone directly regardless of the circumstances. Her soulbound cannot be used to inflict damage, she doesn't get to carry a side-arm with her, her Persona can't use attack skills, she can't slap/punch/stab someone, etc. It doesn't matter if she's about to die or even if it means the downfall of the government -- she simply cannot bring herself to stain her hands with the blood of another. And while she does accept it as a necessary evil and will allow the rest of her party to kill, she will always advocate for a more peaceful route if her opinion is asked for -- especially when it's humans she's dealing with.
—Weakness Name: Prejudiced —Description: Cecilia will refuse to negotiate with Demons unless no one else in her party is willing and/or able to.
—Weakness Name: Sweet Tooth —Description: Cecilia has a love of sweets and will take her sweet time (no pun intended) enjoying the flavor. HP recovering items restore 5% less HP than they usually would.

The dancing couple seemed undeterred by the torrent of light she had unleashed on them, though they did divert from her for a time. Finding an opening they managed to put Officer Frost to the ground before turning back to her for a vicious thrust again aimed at her head. It was only her nervous reflexes that saved her, and Susan leaped backward quite far to avoid the blow.
"Haaah...!"
Regaining her bearings, she took just a quarter second of flinching and guarding her face before collecting herself and moving back into action. What she should be concerned about now was her comrades, though she shouldn't neglect her own position. Therein she devised a plan of attack. "S-Seshat...! Ghars Alrraha...!" Her Persona whisked itself into existence from her panicked consciousness with a light full of certainty and knowledge that this had already been decided, a comfort in the inevitable, before leaping to Officer Frost and marking a reed on his armor. This too would instill a certain sense of numbing calm that can shrug off wounds before it faded back into the inner recesses of her mind. Now she could focus on current matters. "I-I'm being overwhelmed, I need help...!" she cried out, attempting to stay on the defensive.

And he missed. Was he mad or surprised? Not really. He felt just felt extremely numb as he thought back to the last battle he had been in and how many times he had missed back then too. Quite frustrating, but perhaps that was his own fault. He had been busy with other things in life and had slacked off a bit in this department. Hmph. Unacceptable. He’d just have to train harder if he survived this mess here.
In any case, just as he was thinking this Ms. Hunt cast some form of spell that made him feel a bit more comfortable as far as taking a slap from the enemy went; however, joy turned into a bit of agitation at what occurred next. He’d grit his teeth as he saw Mr. Frost go down as the enemy turned full focus on the guy. While the follow up attack thankfully missed and the guy was back on his feet, the Cadet couldn’t help, but notice the effect of the blow upon the other. Thankful, Ms. Groves came to the rescue with healing that seemed to not only help their ally, but the whole team as well.
While that was good and all, this was no time to relax. It seemed that Ms. Groves was having some difficulties. To her cry, it seemed Maria reacted and on instinct so did he. While he was by no means a strong hitter, he could at least add some extra damage onto the damage already done by Maria.
“Don’t panic, Ms. Groves. You are not alone here,” he would say as his persona moved towards the enemy it could not miss.
