Endymion 2 [Main Plot Announcement]

In another world, in another realm, a young man sits upon his throne, a seat of power earned by his own greatness. Indeed, it was as though his entire existence had been written to exalt him. In this world he was king, ruler, the hero of his own story, as well as everyone else's.

He was just taking an opportunity to reflect on his supreme legacy, and what it had cost him, when a Shadow, one of the minions he loved and hated at the same time (because he was blessed with an uncanny amount of character depth) flew in through the window to cry for his attention. He reached out a gloved hand to caress the creature gently. It was a bird-like creature carrying a lantern. Which one would expect meant it was weak to ice, but in fact it was weak to electricity. How clever it was of him to use them for this reason - to confuse his enemies by having them guess type advantage incorrectly. (This is just the first two paragraphs of the Teskei Nami raid fight)
