Never rest. Even after yesterday's battle Albrecht was ready to hunt demons once again. It was hard to wash off the stench of the sewers but he managed to neutralize it with some diligence, he feared it might have been distracting for the other cadets.
Albrecht stood at the meeting place agreed with the other cadets, sword by his side and helmet in hand. It was a full moon that night, and his holy blade seemed to be somewhat unquiet... If that meant anything he'd eventually find out, for now all he could do is wait for the others to show up.

Eryka, as punctual as always, strove to arrive at the designated meeting point on time. She had discovered recently that her prosthetic arm was not as safe as it had once been and so was rather recklessly only riding her motorcycle with one arm. Still, she was a gifted rider and arrived without any incident thanks to her experience and the total absence of traffic. This was her first night performing the duties of a Cadet yet she was not the slightest bit nervous.
The growling of her engine would give away her position before she even arrived which was honestly a tactical error on her part however she had her reasons. Her vehicle may find use inside the dungeon in case somebody needed to make a quick getaway for a variety of reasons ranging from a full retreat to an urgent request for reinforcements. Plus, by bringing her bike she was able to carry her gun and ammunition with her easily so simply put the pros outweighed the cons.
Her bike rolled up to stop before Albrecht and Eryka stepped off, kicking her bike's leg down so it would remain propped up. Normally she would wear her riding suit and helmet but today she simply wore her Cadet issued armour and helmet.
"Commander. Reporting for duty sir!" With a curt and respectful nod towards her superior, Eryka removed her helmet and rested it on the bike. Unhooking her gun from the side of her bike, Eryka turned to face Albrecht grasping her weapon firmly. She saluted with her free hand standing at attention ready for further orders.

Gozai approached the location on foot, decked out in full cadet uniform, resting his baton on his shoulder. He could have simply willed it away, but it actually had a satisfying weight to it. It was pleasant to hold. Which would probably be the only pleasant thing about tonight. The albino's face was warped by a nasty scowl, one of repressed irritation.
The moon was full, something about that made him wary. His left hand rested on his hip, thumb threaded into the belt, ready to reach for the holster strapped to the left thigh. Occasionally his fingertips would reach down caress the cold steel on the handle of the firearm.
Finally, the others present came into view, Eryka, and someone he'd not gotten a good look at before. As he came closer he willed the baton away, and gave the two a salute. "Lovely little evening for a stroll, isn't it?" He'd give a smug, sarcastic grin, to go with his equally sarcastic tone.
"I assume you're the one who'll be in charge of this operation?" He the spoke, more serious in tone now, as he directed both the words and is gaze to the armored individual.

Jackie wasn't sure how he was going to manage, two patrols in as many nights. Three nights, counting the whole 'T' fiasco. It was starting to run him ragged. Still, he needed to stay at peak performance, and he supposed that meant more work. At least it was all going to a good cause. The city's safety, and all that.
Jackie would join the group quietly, soulbound in hand. "Officer Frost." He offered as a greeting to Albrecht. He didn't really aknowledge the others. He didn't know them, after all. With his short greeting done, Jackie simply stood, waiting.

Another night, another patrol. Last night, Rui had shown up in a rather frilly costume that was simply too impractical to actually not get yelled at. This time, Rui decided to show up in a much more practical outfit - as a delinquent. Yes, today, he had shown up as a "sukeban". Complete with a school uniform sailor shirt with an elongated skirt and one of those cough masks certain people like to wear when they were sick. His face was mostly visible though, with his hair untied, just lying down his back. A typical sukeban look.
He came waltzing in while cradling his rifle behind his back like it was a modeling prop, before he then raised his eyebrow in surprise at recognizing at least one of the individuals. He recognized the student with a sword and helmet - it was the math kid! He never knew he was going to be in charge. Rui gave a wave,
"Oh, hi! Reporting in, Mister! You're in charge, right? Good to meet everyone!"

Just as the Cadets arrived at the scene and acknowledged each other's presence, they would notice a soft sound of footsteps in the distance. The familiar sight of the blue Cadet would greet them complete in her battle dress and the monstrous size of the stake-like Demon Weapon cradling in her arms. The piercing eyes adorning her face commanded respect and obedience. This night was unlike the others, this much she knew as an Executor of the Church. It required careful attention to the situation, especially to the newcomers joining them.
"Good evening. I'm Maria Woodsworth, Cadet Class One. Tonight's full moon will make this a more dangerous evening than the rest. We must sweep this area as much as possible to ensure the safety of the citizens. Class One Albrecht Frost will take command and I shall remain on reserves should anything go wrong. To the recruits who joined us, you are due an education tonight. Follow orders, do your best, and you will make it through this night. Good luck and good hunting, Cadets. Brother Frost, the command is now yours."

With the whole squad ready to go Albrecht would put on his helmet and draw his blade. There were a couple familiar faces present, he'd greet one by one with the same formality they did to him. One in particular did cause him to frown though, it was Rui who dressed... in a weird japanese uniform. He might dress himself as a knight but every piece of it has a purpose, that one just made him look like a weird cosplayer... But that Gionatan cadet wore fancy clothes to combat.
"It is as Battle Sister Maria said. Stay together and follow my lead." And with that, Albrecht began the patrol. There was not much more to add after Maria's briefing.

"Sir!" Gozai would exclaim, giving the other a swift salute. Best not to piss this guy off. With that, he would follow the other, a few steps behind, his baton at the ready.

Eryka remained silent as one by one her comrades trickled in and sadly, a lot of them disappointed the amputee. Outside of her lighter leather armour and Albrecht's heavier metal armour there was no sign of any other defensive wear but honestly that would have been fine had everyone not in armour had worn their uniforms. Sadly that was not the case. Out of everyone that arrived the only people Eryka actually recognised was Maria and Gozai.
As Maria spoke up Eryka listened attentively taking into account the fact tonight's challenges would be far greater than those of other nights which was honestly a little disconcerting. She was by no means afraid but Eryka was well aware her comrades had greater experience than her. Still, facing the greater challenge of this full moon night was an opportunity to gain much needed experience. The amputee had only fought demons once before in her entire life and that was under very controlled circumstances.
Under normal circumstances Eryka would have simply followed orders and headed off after Albrecht but instead she walked towards Maria.
"These are the keys to my bike. If you're in need of a faster mode of transportation use it." She handed her keys to Maria and then followed after Albrecht. She kept her eyes open searching for any possible sign of a threat clutching her weapon firmly.

Rui raised his eyebrows in surprise. It really was Albrecht. He would say more, but it was apparent that now was not the best time to start talking.
Empress Arcana: +15% to healing skills. Rearguard: The team at the backlines. In this formation, you'd usually want to put your support oriented members. Support skills (tactical skills, healing, buffs and debuffs) receive a 5% boost in terms of potency (if they refer to percents in how they work.) and your SP and Luck will be raised by 40%. However, in the Rearguard your attack stats will be lowered by 50%.
Strength: Parental Instinct - +15% bonus to Healing. Strength: Evacuation Orgia (Inhuman) - During Orgia Mode, if not attacking, Rui can move extremely quickly while carrying a very heavy weight, even briefly flying.
Weakness: LEED Certified Batteries - +15% to all electric damage taken. Weakness: Glitchy Recovery (Inhuman) - During the three turns after recovering from Orgia mode, suffer a 15% penalty to dexterity.
Action:
Follow everyone else.

"Hm?" His sight had picked up something, something foul and odious. Demons, it had been one night since he last fought one of their kind. His hands tightly grasped the handle of his sword in anger and hate, he wanted to just charge ahead but he was the one leading that night and he couldn't just leave them behind. "There are demons up ahead, we must charge now and ambush it first. To those who are unable to keep up with the charge do not fright, you might be able to catch up while the battle has just started." There was some hate in his voice, hate for the demons.
"Be careful, recruits. Its dangerous but we don't want to lose anyone in a simple patrol." For a moment he seemed to have calmed, though soon the fury would return in the heat of battle.
