The email had been sent. Susan awaited nervously for her teammates to join her on this "live exercise" so to speak. Waves rocked her stomach at the prospect of doing what she was about to do, and that was willingly entering combat. She had been keeping her ears open so to speak for where Demons may appear and unfortunately she had discovered where they congregate. The government would look favorably on her for actively working to keep the streets safe and the public secure rather than reactively working against each major threat that crops up. But that wasn't what had her worried and conflicted. This was a selfish endeavor that came with risk. The businesswoman had been disappointed with her performance that morning at the training session in every regard and sought to correct that mistake. She should never lose a teammate under any circumstances, no matter the opposition. Susan had failed Joseph that morning and let her entire team down. This was a second chance. It was a moment to prove that she was worthy and could assume the responsibilities of advising a team which meant flawless execution. There could be no mistakes tonight else it blemish her already scarred record. She would prove that she had what it takes to become strong enough to earn the right to be called a defender of the city. She turned to those that had responded to her outreach in preparation of what was to come: a running battle through the empty streets, cleaning it of the filth that plagued Endymion.
"....I am very glad that you could join me this evening. I have done just a bit of scouting before you have arrived, the enemy is weak but numerous. We will be able to manage as long as we can act wisely and approach cautiously. Are we prepared?"

"Good evening, battle brothers!"
Albrecht stepped into the vicinity, clad in his black armor and with his holy blade in hand. His armor clanged as he marched towards the other cadets. With a quick glance he could tell right away none of the cadets present were familiar to him, it was hardly an issue for him, but still important to be mindful during combat.
"My name is Albrecht Frost, it's a pleasure to make you acquainted." He quickly introduced himself. "I don't have a persona but i do have what is called a 'Demon Weapon' and i'm quite skilled with it. It can also invoke Lightning to strike enemies."

Seriously, fuck all of this.
He was looking to arriving tonight after getting that e-mail. After getting the shit kicked out of him in the earlier training session, he needed an opportunity to prove himself. Out of all the Cadets there, he was the only one to have fallen in the simulation and it was a horrifying notion to be the only one to fall short. When arrived, Joseph gave a nod at her. "Ready to g--"
"Da' fuck are you?"
He blurted out without much thought. A Psyche-Terrorist right off the bat? What the hell is this night? His thoughts raced, but the introduction caused him to pause almost thoughtfully. Albrecht Frost. Wasn't this guy---
"I'm sorry, Sir. I spoke out of line."
This was one of those guys higher than him on that Cadet Roster outside of class. Seriously, fuck this night. First getting his shit kicked in the morning, now he was fucking up this badly by badmouthing his superior. It is such a wonderful moonlit night.

The training this morning had rattled the idol a bit. While he mostly stayed in the back having to make a run for the exit when he did join the fight, the idea of coming against a human opponent as strange as the ones he had observed made him feel uneasy. Even more so when he observed just how much damage he did in comparison to others. He wasn’t a power hitter no matter which way he viewed the matter and he couldn’t say he was a good fit for a support either even if he had healing at his disposal and his ability as a magic wielder? Forget it. He wouldn’t be making any dent on the enemy with his skills in that area.
It was frustrating and ironic what was happening. He had been in this mess from literally the very beginning. One would think he would’ve gone leaps and bounds within the Cadets' ranking and become powerful, but due to a variety of factors he had simply not and ended up left behind by even the new recruits. It bugged him in a way, but at the same time he didn’t let it bring him down. No that just simply met he had to work harder is all. And working hard was pretty much what he did most of the afternoon. He would go through his training as an idol and after a brief break, focus on honing his skills as a warrior. He worked for a good couple of hours before finally allowing himself to rest and relax. He had actually worn himself out pretty nicely and after a shower pretty much ended up crashing in the cushioned window seat.
He was sleeping pretty well, but was woken up by the sound of his phone going off. Groggily, he had grabbed the phone off the floor and after seeing who it was, he opened the email that had been sent, read it, and without much hesitation accepted it before setting a timer on his phone and going right back to sleep.
When the alarm went off later, he got himself up and ready for the task that was to happen tonight before heading out the door and to the meeting place.
When he arrived, he would see Susan there along with another familiar face that he was getting used to working with. As for the third, well he had never seen this guy that is for sure. He was an odd character and one that Joseph seemed to comment on without thinking on it...before turning around and apologizing in a fashion that made the guy wonder if the kid was trying to make an impression versus being himself. Hmph a curious thing, but something the idol would not make a fuss about as he took in the introduction of the strange man and in turn responded back.
“Good evening Ms. Groves, Joseph. It is good to see you again,” he would start giving the two familiars a soft smile before his eyes turned to the last as his face became devoid of emotion. He would give the newcomer a respectful nod. ”The pleasure is mine, Mr. Frost. My name is Hatsuharu, but you are welcomed to shortened it if you like," he would finish before looking towards Susan again. “I thank you for the invite and opportunity to work with you again. I am as prepared as I am going to be for this and ready to begin when everyone else is.” He would keep his eyes on Susan for a moment giving her a faint nod perhaps to reassure she would be fine no... that they all would on this task that was not training. Though whether she picked up on this or not was unknown and something the idol wouldn’t ponder on too hard as his blinked and let his eyes drift back to the new comer observing him for a bit and wondering who would be in charge, Ms. Groves or the higher ranking Mr. Frost. Either way, he would follow and do what need to be done to complete this task.

Jackie was feeling strangely lazy after training that morning. At least his 'job' just required standing around and chasing kids off when they entered. Shouldn't be hanging around a gun store anyway. But then someone had the amazing to have training that night, too. Jackie wasn't going to show up (he'd found a particularly nice dog to pet in the park, after work) but his better nature told him to show up. He needed to get stronger so his siblings would stop laughing at him whenever they turned up in the shop. He lazily adjusted his sunglasses as he headed to the meet-up spot. When he got there, he saw Susan, Joseph, Haru and...some cosplayer. Jackie walked up to join the group. "Um...hi, everyone? Who's this guy...?" He asked, lowering his sunglasses to look them over. Being made out of metal himself, he wasn't going to really discriminate, but it was still odd to see a person running around in full armor. If it was a Cadet, maybe there was some kind of combat advantage, but otherwise...Jackie was going to assume it was just a random person on the street who had gotten curious.
Jackie adjusted his handbag soulbound weapon over his shoulder, and pushed his sunglasses back up. "Sorry, I was running late. I met a dog, and it was telling an interesting story...hopefully I didn't hold you guys back too long? I, um, I'm ready to go though! Is anyone else supposed to be showing up, or am I it...?" Hopefully he could just throw himself into some demon hunting.

Though Susan was expecting her normal associates she was greeted with a strange man dressed to hide his face. Her breath caught in her throat and she took a half-step backward, the fear apparent on her face as she gripped her P90 and fumbled the safety off. His hearty greeting did nothing to quell her terror especially with his mention of Demons, she didn't truly relax until both Joseph and Hatsuhara arrived and treated this new individual with respect. The businesswoman slowly flicked her weapon back to SAFE and softened her posture, though her chest was rising and falling quite rapidly.
"I-It is a p-p-pleasure to... me-eet you as w... well M... Mr. F-Frost," she would stammer, catching her breath. Susan had nearly shot him, the stress an officer endures was never lost on her. Though he was receiving the adulation of her peers the frightened lady would remain professional as usual, if skittish, but she would not trust him nor relax her guard quite yet unless she received direct confirmation of his identity. She however was aware that her timid voice wouldn't be enough to sway the others into action nor was her courage great enough to back up any grievances so she would silently prepare for the worst and attempt have a plan in place should he be lying. Which brought forth enough gall to attempt her next action.
"M-Mr. Frost may I p... please see y-your helmet...?" she asked in a tiny voice. With his confirmation she would inch closer to him and mark on his helm with wide, terrified eyes. Over his visor, imperceptible to him lest he take it off she would create her Mark of Horus, the All Seeing. With her right eye the mark would also appear, giving her access to what he too could see. He could no longer attempt to betray them without her knowing and he could not escape her surveillance without revealing his true identity. Of course, she would inform him of such. To dissuade any of those thoughts before they started. The safety of Class Three trumped the apprehension of a Psyche Terrorist, even if she was too scared to call him out forthright. "I-I have marked your helmet w-with a sigil that allows me to m-monitor your actions from my perspective," she spoke quickly, becoming more sure with her contingency in place, "I-in case we become separate or are attacked individually..."
The meek Cadet would clear her throat and attempt to gain control of herself as she focused back on the mission. At this moment there was no time for pleasantries.
"N-Now then as I have said I have done a modicum of scouting the area and I will be handling this mission's strategy as I have before. The enemy should be close around this corner, I urge you to follow me and prepare for combat."
Quite unlike her Susan would rush off first rather than wait for a clear sign for everyone to be ready to depart. If she were to lead them this time around she should act like a leader, though she did not expect anyone to have a reason to follow her orders. She would instead need to trust them to place their trust in her intel, they would not be following her so much as they would be believing her to be correct as she had shown. Of course she was right and the enemy came into sight as Susan rushed forward, shuffling to a stop and raising her weapon toward the Demons while allowing her teammates to take their positions as she knew they would as she hung in the rear to lend tactical support. "S-Surrender and face arrest o-or resist and face elimination! P-Positions...!"
Albrecht is marked with Eye of Horus, allowing visual and auditory monitoring from him as if using Remote View.
—Strength Name: Professional Courtesy —Description: Some might use the words "repressed" or "vanilla" or "wet blanket", but Susan considers herself well-disciplined, polite, and composed in all circumstances. To a fault, really. Her obedient nature and adherence to structure rarely ever see her cutting loose or acting inappropriately enough so that it's ingrained into her psyche to be on her best behavior.
Charm and Rage have their success rates lowered by 15% against Susan.
—Strength Name: I'm the One in Control! —Description: During the struggle that occurs after withdrawal from Persona Overdose Seshat is still physically attached to Susan. While that means that Seshat can pull her around the opposite is true: Susan can pull back. In dire straights she can exert herself to guide a rogue attack from Seshat to somewhere more desirable.
Once per withdrawal from Persona Overdose Susan can choose the target of a skill she uses instead of rolling randomly. She makes this choice after rolling for her target. The skill is still rolled randomly like normal.
—Weakness Name: Not According to Plan —Description: While she may seem like an aloof and cold businesswoman Susan is incredibly easy to fluster. She works very poorly under pressure and isn't the best at coming up with ideas on the fly, only before or after the fact. It isn't difficult to get her to stutter and stammer at a loss for words when dealing with a situation she isn't accustomed to.
Panic and Fear have an extra 15% chance to succeed against Susan.
—Weakness Name: Rip Off the Bandage —Description: When Susan enters Persona Overdose Seshat will partially merge with her in a bid to consume her as Artificial Personas are wont to do. To free herself from Seshat's bindings Susan must struggle both physically and mentally, and the process leaves friction burns, paper cuts, bruises, and even pulled muscles in her violent fight to gain control of herself once more.
When Susan is suffering the negative effects after Persona Overdose she loses 10% of her total HP every turn. This damage can and will knock her unconscious if she isn't careful but it can't result in her death since her Persona won't willingly kill its host.
Rearguard: The team at the backlines. In this formation, you'd usually want to put your support oriented members. Support skills (tactical skills, healing, buffs and debuffs) receive a 5% boost in terms of potency (if they refer to percents in how they work.) and your SP and Luck will be raised by 40%. However, in the Rearguard your attack stats will be lowered by 50%.
Action:
Taking the Rearguard combat role, Marking Albrecht with Eye of Horus, then moving three up, two right, and one down to enter combat.
Soul Skill Name: Eye of Horus Persona Name: Seshat Tier: Tier 2 Cost: 15 SP Type of Damage: Support Description: Susan can enscribe an Eye of Horus onto a person or surface, allowing her supernatural senses where she places it.
When placed on a person the Eye of Horus allows Susan to experience things that person sees or hears and can scan enemies just like Remote View. The key difference is that unlike Remote View which establishes a remote call between the team Susan can only communicate back and forth between whoever is marked. They also need to communicate to other teammates through Susan, as in they need to tell Susan to talk to other people, they cannot directly communicate with each other. When this skill is used in this way Susan communicates to others via sending words and information into their field of vision like a Heads Up Display, the other player must speak aloud to communicate back with Susan.
When used in a dungeon the Eye of Horus senses everything within line of sight in 6 spaces through sight and hearing.
When used in PvP she senses everything within line of sight and hearing of an Eye of Horuse when not placed on a person to a range of 3 meters for every 20 points in PMstr.
Susan can place one Eye of Horus for every 20 points she has in PMstr. If she places more she must choose which one is erased to support the new mark. An Eye of Horus lasts until the end of a topic. Susan can combine this skill with her Rewrite skill by adding its SP cost to place the hieroglyph at a touch and dictate how it appears.

"There's no need for apologies."
It seems he caused a lot of shock among half of the class 3 cadets, i suppose covering your face in a helmet is not a good idea when your enemies are known for the use of masks. Maybe he should do away without the helmet later... As for Susan's request he'd comply with no objections or questions. "Here it is."
Then, in a surge a pair of golden long wings sprouted from the Knight's back. They were open wide for a brief moment before they began to flap, causing a gust of wind, and lift the knight up in the air. In no time he charged towards the demons in unadulterated and pure rage.

Jackie fought the urge to roll his eyes as he was completely ignored by the others. Some days it seemed like they only kept him around for his Mini-gun. He was a lot more than that! He was an advanced military android who sold guns on top of being able to use them really well! Deciding not to press the subject any further, he followed the rest of the group as patrol began. Apparently they were hanging out with Armor Guy now. Really, Jackie couldn't complain. So long as he was more Competent than Takeru, Jackie'd accept the help for what it was.
He stayed quiet as usual in the time between battles, counting his supplies, and mentally preparing for whatever fight came their way. Protecting the city'd be a nice change of pace from dodging trains and getting shot at, he thought. He liked being the one DOING the shooting, after all. He could safely say being kicked around wasn't fun at all, and really, he didn't know how else to define the training mission that morning. His ability to take a large number of hits and keep on going didn't mean he enjoyed it.
Though, if there was one thing he could complain about, it would be not being able to hear the ending of the dog's story. He needed to know if the ball ever came out from under the dresser! It was horrible knowing the dog might not ever be able to chew on it's fifth favorite ball ever again. Really, he couldn't help but be sympathetic towards it's plight. If he had been free that night, he might have tried it help it, as much as he could. Make he could talk to The Prince, and get it registered as an official mission. By the sounds of it moving the dresser would be a two person job! And it'd be contributing to the happiness of the city, in it's own little way.
Thoughts of helping adorable dogs had to be forgotten for the moment, though. Without a second thought, he unlatched his bag, taking a firm hold of his mini-gun. Demons so soon? "Let's get rid of these ones before they can hurt anyone..." He sighed, moving forwards to engage. Great, not only could he not hear the ending to the Dog's story, he couldn't even finish thinking about the Dog's story.
Moving Three up, two right, one down, and engaging enemy.

The Cadet would take note of Susan’s behavior towards the helmeted man, but would not tense or assume anything bad about him. It was true he wore a mask just like the enemy did, but it was also true he had also worn a mask in the beginning and while it did get him in a world of hurt, the Queen did state that anyone that wished to hide their identity could back then, so as long as Mr. Frost wasn’t attacking or doing anything to suggest he needed to be eliminated, the idol saw no reason to fear him.
Regardless of that, he would stay quiet letting things take their course as Ms. Groves did what she needed to do to settle down. When Jackie arrived, he took note the other two paid him no mind, but he did not do the same as he gave the other a faint smile and a nod of acknowledgement before shaking his head. “I believe we are gathered,” he would respond back before focusing on the orders Ms. Groves was giving. Ah. So she was going to play leader again? Well then, he was fine with that and so would make no objection to the matter as he continue to observe how each behaved and interacted.
Susan decided to take the lead, followed by Mr. Frost and then Jackie. As they moved out Haru would bring up the back end along with Joseph. His steps were fast enough to keep up with the others. As they traveled, he would speak to Jackie. “You said you met a dog that made you late. What sort of story was it telling you?” he would ask kind of curious just where such a question would go. The guy was machine he knew that, but could he actually understand dogs and what could a dog possibly tell a person? Hmm. Well whether or not his curiosity was fulfilled was up in the air. He wasn’t sure if the other was listening to him or focusing on mentally preparing himself for whatever was here and other thoughts.
Whatever resulted from the matter he would just let go its own course as he became quiet as they began to move into this strange place similar to one he, Jackie, Joseph, and Takeru had been in, but at the same time different. Perhaps they were in a different part of the city twisted by the night time’s strange air. The layout was certainly different from what he could see. As they continued on his mind would wander until battle drew him back to reality as everyone began to take their positions. Susan fell into the back lines, Jackie took the front. Mr. Frost? Well he was going forward alright, but to where the idol didn’t know as he took notice of the wings that came from the guy. As for himself, he settled in a position between front and the back his weapon coming to his hand as his persona appeared stretching his wings and lounging lazily by his side as he eyed the battlefield curious as to what would appear.

What a fucking asshole.
There were necessary and little blessings that his superiors weren't complete dickwads. The common schmuk might actually appreciate it, but not Joseph. If he could, he would've berated and verbally eviscerated for being ridiculously out-of-place with that scrap metal armor. Hell, with that get-up, he was asking to get shot or worse. The powers that be dictated he shouldn't unleash his misgivings as a lowly Cadet under his superiors. He knew what happened when people fucked up in this tenuous line of work and incensed their betters. The soul-shattering accounts muttered from his brothers were warning enough and he didn't doubt for a single minute it was going to be the same inside the Cadets' fold.
But seriously. What the fuck. Is everyone serving the Queen this much of a weirdo? Is it like a requirement these days? He didn't remember watching the Cadets on the news being this fuck-right weird. Flying knights with wings, jumping girls with massive "FUCK YOU" guns, and miniature mongrels with powers made him question his very life. Yeah, the Eternal Divide was an entire clusterfuck as it was with the demons throwing themselves into their world. But the more Joseph worked for Julius and the more he contemplated, the more this motley crew of freaks sounded more like a containment group more than anything. They beat down the psychotic freaks roaming the streets. But when you look at it closely, they were using similar freaks for their own ends. It's shit like this that made you really think. But Joseph cared little in the end. He'd just wade through this sea of mystical and supernatural bullshit to acquire a comfy office position. Acquire secretary bitches and sit back and relax with a glass of Chardonnay. Until then, he'd have to grit his teeth.
Joseph was prompted to follow everyone. He held back the need to scoff and to roll his eyes at Susan. She was so stubbornly nervous even after the simulation this morning. Really, maybe she was going to end up a granny spinster at this rate complete with an exorbitant amount of cranky cats. Fucking loser.
"Squeal for me, you bastards."
Fresh meat finally popped up. His blade was finally beginning to be drawn as his Persona appeared at his side ready to rumble. He was expecting their arrival. It was time again to earn his keep and get the fuck back home.

Susan would not be swayed by the taunting of the demons, they would submit or be destroyed all the same. Instead she would take this as an opportunity to test her abilities. She remembered the training session of that morning, of how her thoughts were clearer and focused. It was a state of zen, and she would need that clear mind to knock her out of her hesitance. That calm state of being could be useful as well. Could she invoke it? Susan attempted to remember what brought this change about and it was a desire for control. For structure, to succeed, she wanted to be in control of the situation. So she began to frustrate herself about this whole ordeal, thinking negative and spiteful thoughts in order to bring about this change. Whether or not she could trust Albrecht Frost. Her inadequacies that morning. Her discipline that afternoon. It all sunk her lower and lower until she hit a breaking point and stopped feeling anything at all.
Heiroglyphs made of light began to encircle the battlefield, fading in and out of existence as paper bandages wound their way around Susan's arms, legs, and throat and her Persona began to fill with new life. They purposefully appeared around the winged one, displaying to the Cadets its potential and capabilities in symbols that were not understood yet everyone could read as clear as words in a children's book.

So it would seem that everyone was ready to go the vibe around him interesting to say the least as the enemies appeared and Ms. Groves went into that strange state again he had seen earlier that day. He wondered what would happen due to this since last time this changed occurred the end results didn’t leave a pleasant feeling in his gut even if he saw nothing once he left. As curious as he was about the matter, he would keep his eyes focused ahead taking note of the glyphs he could not yet read. In time, he had a feeling they would clear up, but for now his eyes locked on the logical target of the two demons before him.
The winged one would probably be trouble despite how cute she was, so then that left the small land bound one then, eh? Fair enough. His persona would remain in his spot as the young man pushed from the ground with weapon in hand aiming to strike the opponent in front of him.
