Strengthening the deal (Phalanx and Gran-Chan)

It seemed that Theda was quite eager to move on ahead. As soon as she and Phalanx got to her, the strange being that was the girl began to move forward at a slow pace telling them that they would need to hurry if they wanted to get past the shadow ahead. Heh! If she wanted to hurry then why didn’t she simply run instead of walk when they approached? Strange child. In any case, Sky would be making no move to hurry up as she kept her pace even with Phalanx’s as the other quietly gestured for her to come with them.

Without any fuss, she would follow behind their new leader and Phalanx. Slipping carefully and quickly pass the shadow the trio managed to enter the next section of the area without much trouble, or so it seemed. The next area was blocked by a door upon which they opened and headed into the next building. Much like the entrance way, this place was torn up too. It held the reek of decay and guns, but it lacked the sounds of struggle. The lights in the area flickered casting shadows around the large space they were in, but whether something was here or not was yet to be seen. As Theda and Phalanx did their own exploring or what not, Sky would move in quietly, her shoes barely making a sound as her eyes scanned the area for treasure or clues as to what the light may have been or if it was even here. For now all appeared quiet and ordinary.

So the girl walked in, going to a corner of the room and crouching down next to a strange pile of things. There were white bones resting on the body of a broken humanoid like machine, used shells and bullets lying all around. The machine was missing an arm and its pale face was cracked, its eyes black and lifeless. The girl wasn’t sure where this machine had come from, but maybe in the strange war that was going on machines had been summoned to tip the scales. It was an interesting find, so keeping an ear out for the others she would continue to examine her find, even daring to reach out to touch the thing which she found....

Movement:

Sky would continue to examine her find for a while longer before standing up with a sigh. It seemed the light wasn’t here and the dead was certainly not giving her much more than confirming the obvious about the war torn place. Glancing over at her companions, she would see that they were both leaving the room without a peep. So what? They planned to just leave her behind or something? What happened to communications and team work?

Tch! Guess no one could be trusted or relied upon these days.

She did not like that. Didn’t like that at all. Staying within the block for a few more moments she would let them go out of the area before trailing out behind them….

Tch! Now they were apologize and make up excuses as to why they left her behind? Typical blockheads. Sky would just give them both a roll of the eyes as she stopped and saw the shadows that attacked. Pha-Pha and Theda claimed they wanted to protect her, but could she honestly just let them do all the fighting and sit back. Sure, she was the weakest of the trio (since she seemed the only one trying to still recover from last battle), but did they honestly think she couldn’t fight back?

"….Whatever you want to do..." was the cool response as the girl summoned her weapon, just in case something came her way. She was still displeased, but she had shadows and a light to discover, so she’d deal with the pit falls for now. Besides this protection deal could make up for leaving her behind.
