Time was quickly running out, Isaac saw as he looked out. One of the Goons was close. far too close. At this rate, there was no way they were going to be able to have time to follow through on Susan's plan for all the fighting they were doing. As a bullet grazed his arm he winced, looking up to the goon that had fired on him, and rushed forward with his gun.

Cut the track? Gozai honestly could not understand what that could achieve in this situation. But he wasn't gonna argue. Instead, he'd move down along the tracks a short while, behind Jackie and Isaac, before invoking his Persona. Iblis appeared, once again raising its hand, a trio of fiery figures forming from the licks of flame emerging from the mouth-hand. It then closed the hand, an almost invisisble wave of power extending outward.
That done, he didn't let the Persona vanish, instead having the beast raise its other hand, from which a much larger gout of flame would bloom forth. The flame continued burning, only for the base of the flame to shrink, the color of the flame changing from a dull red, to a brighter, cheery red, to roange, until it started to turn white at the center. By then what had been a nearly man-sized flame had been focused into a thin jet only inches across. It was a surprising amount of mental effort to get the flame focused, but the albino then had his persona bring it down on the tracks.
Made him wish he'd brought his sunglasses.

A stray round knocked her in the head and sent her to the ground. As she reeled in the sand with bad memories over the last time this happened flexing her fingers a sharp pain entered her back. Susan turned swiftly and jerked the trigger down, spraying bullets at her aggressor. "Get off me!"
As she retreated to gain her bearings something even more terrible would happen, more terrible than T and more terrible than a head wound.
"Y-y.... y-you cut the wrong spot..."
And just like that her entire plan had unraveled. They could no longer drag one end of the track over to bridge the gap, the entire track would need to be moved by itself. It would take more effort, planning, and more time to get them moving. Time was something they did not have before this started.
I... can fix this. I can fix this...! I WILL NOT die here, NO ONE will...!
As her feet moved over the sand Susan's mind began to frazzle and reach desperately for more ways to accomplish the objective. The well of emotions was palpable. The businesswoman wasn't certain how she felt. Panicked, scared, upset, disappointed, spiteful, enraged. She swallowed it down. There were more important things happening at the moment. She could scream at someone later. She summoned Seshat to grant her calm and address everyone present.
The wrong section of track has been cut, we will have more work ahead of us. Jackie, I still need you to eviscerate the train car blockading the tracks or we cannot get them free. Everyone else is to cut the rail or the railroad ties adjoining them to make transport possible for Maria. If you're not doing that you are engaging the enemy.
Two steps from disaster. And three from annihilation. They were running out of chances.

Strength: Professional Courtesy - Charm and Rage have their success rates lowered by 15% against Susan. Strength: I'm the One in Control! - Once per withdrawal from Persona Overdose Susan can choose the target of a skill she uses instead of rolling randomly. She makes this choice after rolling for her target. The skill is still rolled randomly like normal.
Weakness: Not According to Plan - Panic and Fear have an extra 15% chance to succeed against Susan. Weakness: Rip Off the Bandage - When Susan is suffering the negative effects after Persona Overdose she loses 10% of her total HP every turn. This damage can and will knock her unconscious if she isn't careful but it can't result in her death since her Persona won't willingly kill its host.

Isaac did his best not to let Susan's concern rattle him. Change of plans, that's all. He Ignored the goon that had just tried to kill Susan, as per her her instructions, and brought his sword down deftly on the tracks. "Like a knife through butter!"

Wrong spot? Damnit. The albino would find himself blinking several times to try and get the bright spots out of his vision, his Persona vanishing back to whence it came. Gozai would admit, what he did not expect was for Jackie to just blow the car behind them away, just like that. Frightening.
But then, as he was taking a moment still to let his eyesight to recover from the impromptu torch-cutting-without-protective-eyewear, he found himself seeing something else. Isaac, cutting through one of the tracks with his sword, as the other so eloquently put it, a knife through butter. He'd stumble over a bit, one hand over his eyes to protect them from the glare of the sun, while in his other he would allow his baton to manifest, already extended.
A swing of his baton would slash through the tie, much to his surprise, with very little in the way of resistance.

"Aw, ya got to be kidding me!" A mutter hissed out his teeth as the shades-wearing Desert Khan saw the ridiculous amount of firepower exhibited on the broken train car. For God's sakes, they managed to blow an entire hunk of metal away. It literally made his spine crawl in trepidation, but he remained firm. There was nothing easy in the wasteland, that much was true. Hell, what was supposed to be easy pickings, it was just all a goddamn pain in the ass. "Keep at 'em! We outnumber them! They'll all run outta stea--"
HWEEEEEEEEEE!
The scream of a the train whistle resounded in the wasteland. In view was a train, unlike the one from Endymion, it was bigger and meaner. Big enough to have its own deck in front of the front cab. Sturdy plates of defensive armor appear to be soldered onto it. There was even the tell-tale signs of blood on the front, possibly running over some desert critter along the way here. Perhaps what was even more prominent was the number of firearms mounted on several parts of the train cars, even what appeared to be an artillery cannon on several of them. Yet, there was one thing on it that the Desert Khan seemed to cause him to gape and blanch at nervously. Right on the front deck of the front-most train car driving the entire entourage, there appeared to be a single man with arms crossed as his hair danced behind him.
The sound of gunfire began to accompany the train's advance on the track. The sand began to explode with lead beginning to pelt itself against the raiders. The Cadets would notice they were careful to not even hit them or on their side at all. "F--Fuck! Fall back! Fall the hell back! Fuck you, Shura! You cockblocking shi--!"
The thunderous cacophony cut him off as his gang hurriedly began to leave the scene without a single look back. Yet, the armored train didn't let up on the firepower until it definitely did appear they weren't coming back. The raider Susan was fighting with also made the prudent decision to cut his losses and run off. It was only then the line of artillery and weapons began to slow to a halt. That was when a Princess of Endymion pushed the door open to allow every occupant to finally leave the cramped cab remains of the Endymion train. Serenity looked around and frowned at the incoming train before looking back at the Cadets with concern knitted on her face. She called out to them. "Is everyone alright?"
"I'm fine, your Majesty. And you? What about the civilians?" Maria asked as she began to approach her while dragging her Demon Weapon and coffin with her. There wasn't any signs of harm done to her, but she appeared a little under the weather. Yet she was keeping herself upright as if nothing happened while laying an eye on the incoming train.
"Everyone inside are accounted, they'll be fine. I'm just glad we were able to pull this off without losing anyone." The Princess sighed while giving a small smile despite it all. They were lucky to suffer no casualties on their side. Maybe in that way, they can take comfort in the fact that there was always a silver lining in all of these unexpected roadblocks. But it made her wonder how such raiders managed to cause so much damage to the train.
And speaking of which, the locomotive would finally stop level to the Endymion train. When it did, one person swiftly and smoothly fell to the sand on their two feet before approaching the party. It was a man who was significantly tall, about an inch over six feet. He was garbed in what looked like a black military uniform with a pair of blades nestling his hip. After taking a few steps towards the party and after noticing Serenity's current presence, he gave a small respectful bow to the Princess in greeting.
Isaac was ready to lay into someone, but he had to admit when it became humans they were fighting his mood had depreciated. He didn't like the prospect of taking life, but when they were firing guns at them it would be an 'us or them' scenario. Mother had always said those moments were the hardest, but at the same time, in the moment there was no choice just action.
The loud sound of the train broke through his concentration as she cut through the tracks. A huge metal train was barreling down the tracks toward them. He kept his guard up, though. This could be enemy reinforcements. Still, if it was, they could take it and use it to commandeer their way to Domiona. Isaac relaxed a little when the guns targetted the goons and not the Cadets or their charges, relaxed further when the goons scattered to the four winds. When they were well away, and the long haired man hopped down from his perch on high, Isaac slung his sword back over his shoulder and examined his allies. "Susan...ah-" Isaac turned his gaze to the woman who was still standing near him. "I'm sorry for before. I should have trusted your judgement to escape. It wasn't my place to talk like that to you. I was worried about you, but you had it more than under control. It was a good exit strategy, Ma'am." He bowed his head a little, acknowledging his mistake. "When all this is over and we get back to Endymion, we should have a chat."
He didn't tarry with the woman. Regardless of what she would say, he knew she didn't particularly like him. He hoped to remedy that some day. For now though, he felt he needed to check on Maria. Even if she was far stronger than he likely ever would be, that didn't mean she wouldn't appreciate his concern. It certainly didn't mean she didn't have it. "Hey, you alright? You look a little sick." He addressed the nun with an easy smile, looking her over for injuries before adding, "You were amazing, by the way, as usual."
There, the tie had been cut, now for the next part of the-. Gozai didn't need to even finish that line of thought when help arrived, in the form of... Does that even qualify as a train anymore? He could only look on with an expression of awe at the display of sheer, excessive firepower, before speaking in a low voice, somehow managing to squeeze some humor out. "Can we get a medal for whoever thought it was a good idea to build a battleship onto a train chassis?" His tone was surprisingly flat. but god damnit, what else was he supposed to call that thing? It was a battleship, on rails.
But he seemed to regain his more serious tone as the princess would speak, asking of their condition. Gozai would begin to respond. "I-." Only to immediately cut himself off to look himself over, to make sure he hadn't gotten shot and failed to notice it in the heat of the moment or something. "I appear to be untouched, your majesty." He would then finish what he started previously, his voice reflecting the sense of disbelief he felt in that moment..
Red eyes then shifted elsewhere, to the curious figure who had been like a figurehead on the battle-trainship, who had dropped down. It seemed like the princess and he were acquainted. Shura was the name she referred to him by. Gozai found himself curious, but did not say anything. His attention was instead drawn to the nun, Maria, prompted by Isaac's words. He would give the female cadet a look, before sweeping his gaze across the crowd of civilians. "Does anyone require medical attention?"
