//"..."// She was trying not to look behind her. Even as the fight sped up, Shiina was trying her damndest to turn away from it all, trust that her teammates could handle it. That's why she had chosen to take the back lines, after all... that's why she wanted to support them, ease their burden by holding the enemies back. But no, of course their luck didn't allow that.
It was frustrating, so immensely aggravating to know that she couldn't have done more than this, to feel like even THIS power wasn't enough...
//"Tch. Lapdogs of a false Queen..."// The Wild Card still stood, though, to block the Horde from reaching her teammates as long as she could. Even if she couldn't do anything against T now, she still had the drive in her to plant her feet firmly into the ground and deny the rest of the enemies passage. //"Azami, show him why that applies more to him than to us. Let her minions come as much as they want, in the end it'll all turn out the same way..."// The red mist surrounding her and her Persona grew a little thicker as she prepared to do something... just in case Azami couldn't finish it in time, just in case she could still be useful.
If she had to be the only one to stay strong even in the face of disaster, then she would be. If that's what everyone else required of her, then despite her powerlessness she would still stand there. Visions of the past wouldn't break her spirit, nor would targeting her very soul directly. If this was where it ended, then she would never achieve her goal.
—Strength Name: Magic Eye —Description: As a result of the trial experiments his parents let him join, his eye can turn its sclera black and iris scarlet red. It allowed him to have vastly improved eyesight in which he can almost perceive near sub-sonic speeds. But it doesn't mean he can act right away for most situations. 15% boost to Luck stat.
—Strength Name: Kerrigan Vigor —Description: His workout ethic gave him an impressive body to behold for someone of his stature. He's tough and built to endure most of anything. Most importantly he's built to keep himself going for long periods of time when under stress and exertion. Slash attacks cost 2% less to use.
—Strength Name: Basic Combat Training —Description: Originally he was aiming to be a police officer. But his family is leading him to become a Cadet. Taking advice and training from his former military and law enforcement family members, Joseph can carry himself with confidence and knows what he's doing when in the heat of the moment. Strike attacks cost 2% less to use.
Human Weaknesses:
—Weakness Name: Normal Joe —Description: Because of his focus on working out and perhaps as a result of his experimentation, he finds difficulty in using magical skills. It doesn't mean he can't use them, but it will take out a whole lot more. Magical attack skills cost 5 more SP to cast.
—Weakness Name: Normal Joe 2 —Description: Likewise, because of his lacking affinity to using magical skills, it's harder for him to aim using them. It complicates his ability to use fine and precise actions with them. 10% additional miss chance when using magical attack skills.
—Weakness Name: Psychosis —Description: His eye tends to have sudden random "attacks". But it is more of an attack of his own mind. Kerrigan experiences a debilitating state of something resembling dementia from time to time. For the first three turns in battle only, Kerrigan has a 10% chance of skipping that turn.

From the start it had all been meaningless to her: the cackling of the clowns, the castration of the Cadets, the grand revelations of the city's dark past and the terror and doubt that it had thrust upon so-called "brave" souls... It was all nothing more than hollow white noise. Perhaps that could be attributed to the Divide being before her time. Like Jackie, she had been conceived after the disaster and thus couldn't witness the same visions that T had subjected her comrades to, but her case was even more severe thanks to being entire continents away from Endymion until recent memory. Yet at its core the cause was so much simpler than something like ignorance or a lack of experience: what steeled Azami against the mockery and torments of these clowns was mere indifference. Endymion meant nothing to her, Endymion's people meant nothing to her, and Endymion's queen and her all-consuming order meant nothing... The only thing that concerned the Tsurinai was the mission she had been tasked with. And so after all the unintelligible babbling and dramatic theatrics she had observed this night, finally words that mattered reached her ears, words that reinvigorated a spark of life and desire suppressed until now.
//"Show him the might of the Tsurinai name!"//
Hunger stirred in Azami's heart. She hungered... hungered for glory, for purpose, for acceptance! The word sounded so sweet on her tongue, the word Tsurinai, a name that could replace her own -- a label to uplift her above the realm of "mutts" and "lapdogs". Her head lurched back and she released a bloodthirsty howl to the starry sky beyond the Domain as pulsating shackles appeared all around her body. While Susan rushed back toward where she stood, Azami dived forward past her and was torn asunder by the chains, severed limbs soaring through the sky as her smiling head passed by the salarywoman spilling blood from the neck. The liquid swiftly condensed into a red mist that followed her remains and concealed them from the world, building and expanding in size until it all dissipated to reveal a monster... to reveal...
Tainted Soul: (The Ultimate fusion between you and your Tainted Persona. When using this, your Persona fuses within your soul, corrupting it and transforming you into a higher being temporarily. Once this is done, you take on a more otherworldy appearance thanks to being possessed by your Tainted Persona, but your stats are all doubled. This form lasts for three turns, and once it is over you revert back to your original form and all your stats are reverted to 1 till the end of the topic or you use an item/skill to recover. This can only be used once per topic and once being used, your Tainted Persona can no longer be used within the same topic.)
Possessed Form Name: Bakasura Persona Name: Fisher King Possessed Form Appearance:
Description: The Great Devourer of myth whose gluttony and greed led him to be killed by a man guilty of the same sins. Unable to think rationally anymore, the beast lashes out all her opponents with hatred and rage befitting of a war machine. Its sole concern becomes the destruction of all who dare oppose the order of the city and its only reward in that moment is the chance to satiate its appetite for blood.
The beast stands at around nine feet tall and has a multitude of tendrils scattered across its body that are each around five to six feet long. Azami transforms into it through summoning Mental Shackles as a Psyche Terrorist would, but despite her struggles to break them they prove unyielding. She thrashes about wildly in anger, but to no avail, and as the chains begin to pull back they rip her in two. What remains of her body dissipates into a red and green mist which becomes Bakasura.
Fatal End | Inflicts a moderate amount of Slash damage to one enemy. | Tier 2 -- 25%
Garula | Inflicts a moderate amount of Wind damage to one enemy. | Tier 2 -- 25%
Tarunda | Lowers one enemy's Attack by 30% for 3 turns. | Tier 2 -- 25%
Rakunda | Lowers one enemy's Defense by 30% for 3 turns. | Tier 2 -- 25%
Tension rises to 75%. Spending 25% Tension to use Tarunda on the Horde.
OOC Notes:
I'll take care of stats and the sort in my post for the Team A thread since Dogzami has permission to switch Combat Roles and it might get a bit confusing for everyone involved if I list stuff here. Sera's Tension is transferred over to Shiina for the next turn cycle.

With her Eye of Horus Soul Skill Susan can provide remote support from an individual marked with it. She has placed an Eye of Horus on Jackie, Cecilia, and Albrecht this topic. As long as those players are active in battle and not KO'd Susan can provide remote support and monitoring, if they are switched out or become KO'd she can no longer do so.
Healing Wave acts on the team regardless of who's in the active party.
Eye of Horus:
Soul Skill Name: Eye of Horus Persona Name: Seshat Tier: Tier 2 Cost: 15 SP Type of Damage: Support Description: Susan can enscribe an Eye of Horus onto a person or surface, allowing her supernatural senses where she places it.
When placed on a person the Eye of Horus allows Susan to experience things that person sees or hears and can scan enemies just like Remote View. The key difference is that unlike Remote View which establishes a remote call between the team Susan can only communicate back and forth between whoever is marked. They also need to communicate to other teammates through Susan, as in they need to tell Susan to talk to other people, they cannot directly communicate with each other. When this skill is used in this way Susan communicates to others via sending words and information into their field of vision like a Heads Up Display, the other player must speak aloud to communicate back with Susan.
When used in a dungeon the Eye of Horus senses everything within line of sight in 6 spaces through sight and hearing.
When used in PvP she senses everything within line of sight and hearing of an Eye of Horuse when not placed on a person to a range of 3 meters for every 20 points in PMstr.
Susan can place one Eye of Horus for every 20 points she has in PMstr. If she places more she must choose which one is erased to support the new mark. An Eye of Horus lasts until the end of a topic. Susan can combine this skill with her Rewrite skill by adding its SP cost to place the hieroglyph at a touch and dictate how it appears.
Susan sprinted into position, again horrified from the turn of events and things she did not understand. She kept her weapon trained on the mass of enemies in front of her and wiped her eyes with a free hand, trying to control her breathing. She would wait to give observation until the situation could be felt out, however, she could feel the emptiness in the visions of her teammates she could not perceive through. If they could manage a hasty counter-offensive they would... but she anticipated retreat. People were not meant to experience these horrors.
Priestess Arcana: +5% to Tactical Support skills. Rearguard: The team at the backlines. In this formation, you'd usually want to put your support oriented members. Support skills (tactical skills, healing, buffs and debuffs) receive a 5% boost in terms of potency (if they refer to percents in how they work.) and your SP and Luck will be raised by 40%. However, in the Rearguard your attack stats will be lowered by 50%.
PsychoKrusher: Remove all Ailment resistances 3/5
Strength: Professional Courtesy - Charm and Rage have their success rates lowered by 15% against Susan. Strength: I'm the One in Control! - Once per withdrawal from Persona Overdose Susan can choose the target of a skill she uses instead of rolling randomly. She makes this choice after rolling for her target. The skill is still rolled randomly like normal.
Weakness: Not According to Plan - Panic and Fear have an extra 15% chance to succeed against Susan. Weakness: Rip Off the Bandage - When Susan is suffering the negative effects after Persona Overdose she loses 10% of her total HP every turn. This damage can and will knock her unconscious if she isn't careful but it can't result in her death since her Persona won't willingly kill its host.

Was he afraid? Was he angry? It was hard to tell what the idol thought as he remained strangely quiet on the field after the enemy had taken out the other team except for Susan. As things moved on, Susan would switch with the pup that had become a monster and left to face T. How successful the dog would be was a mystery, but one the idol would not dwell on as he instead focused on simply staying on his feet. Even when knocked down he got back to his feet and healed his body that was protesting the assault. He needed to stay strong and keep fighting, but for who would be left only for him to know as his persona moved to cure him.

T had been a formidable opponent, and a true look into the terrors that awaited them in the coming nights, but despite everything the Wild Card was sure Azami would succeed in her mission. She had to trust her retainer, the only other Cadet who knew the expectations placed upon them, the only other person who could understand what it meant to want to be a Tsurinai.
That's why she wouldn't fail, she couldn't. While Azami was behind her, getting shot at, near death despite her surge of power, Shiina had to protect her at all costs.
//"Pathetic, disappointing, what a pointless existence. What's the point of having clowns if you can't even make me laugh?"// The Tsurinai sidestepped the incoming flurry of blades with trained grace, her glowing eyes locked onto the Horde's massive form. //"As long as we're here, you'll never get past us... it's pointless to even try. As long as he believes in my Potential..."//
A little glimpse of the past. That unassuming stare, the cold glare that pierced into her very soul before shifting into an approving smile... Shiina had a goal in all this, a purpose in the bigger picture of this city, and she wouldn't let some random clown put a stop to it now. This was about more than them, more than this city, more than this world. What mattered the most was showing just what her Potential could do. Just what this Power of the Wild Card could accomplish. If that power was really what was needed to change the world, then it would be her sword against the enemies and her proof to the scathing eyes that refused to acknowledge her worth. Those very eyes would look upon it with admiration... and regret.
//"This city is under the protection of the Tsurinai Family!"// The mist around her surged outwards as two small cards floated down beside her. The Wild Card opened her arms to let the Evokers fall onto her palms. //"As long as I live, I won't let you make a dent in my allies!"// Two knives pierced through the cards, allowing the summoned Personas to begin forming above her.
//"And T, let your Queen of Chaos know... that her successor will pluck her allies from this world one by one."//
