Deva's Servant (Gran-Chan)

The being couldn't recover fast enough to get back up. The fog was already heavy in its mind and only became a crushing blanket of darkness as another attack smacked into it and knocked it further across the floor. The being would roll across the ground before coming to a stop on its back. There was just a small amount of fight as the being tried not to black out, but then with a soft sigh its body relaxed and the fight ended. Oki was knocked unconscious from the blow. The question now was what would the angel do?

While Oki's body never moved to respond, the mental version of the being was in freak out mode for various reasons. First off...she was here?! Well perhaps it should've expected that, but seriously it was highly embarrassed by her seeing it this way. And two....she needed moneys?

"G-goddess?! Well, uh...there is no need to apologize. I should be apologizing to for failing you and also for being such a poor servant. We only have 400 on our persons! So, so sorry," the mental voice said panicked and flustered. There were one too many things going on right now regarding emotion on the mental scape. It honestly didn't know what to do.

It remembered unconsciousness and then seeing goddess after the angel had defeated it. There was some sort of deal cut between them and the sensation of something being removed from its wallet and pouches. After that, it wasn't sure what happened as its body just seemed to float in the safe warmth of darkness. When it came to and its body was back under its control, Oki was lying right outside of the rift it had gone into when it went to face the angel of the desert.

Its body could still feel the unseen beating it had taken, but the being was not mad as it looked at the portal and the ruined world beyond. It had survived a battle with an angel and learned a bit more about the game that was being played. While it still did not know all the rules, it did have a bit more clarity as to what to expect...This Event....it was in full swing leaving behind so many holes behind it that it was no telling what would happen from this point on. Still...

Oki shifted in its spot, the sand under it sighing and crunching. It managed to get into a sitting position before pausing as something light pink caught its attention. Looking over at the strange glow it saw that the thing on the ground was a glowing chess piece fashioned like a knight. Picking up the strange thing, it looked around the area wondering who left or how it came to be here, but there was no sign of anyone having come into the room. The only oddity was a chair moved close to the portal, but outside of that nothing. Strange.

Oki would pocket the item for now and leave the mystery behind it to ponder later. Right now it needed to find a plan to do something about this Event. Perhaps it would have to go to Helen and its allies for some other opinions.
