"That is an interesting tactic, Susan." The business woman was an useful ally in combat, providing tactical advantage to the whole team. She seemed so meek in their first meeting he wondered if she'd have the nerves necessary to handle stressful combat situations. Not like he could judge, having failed his first mission.
"No i have not, i was busy with family matters. Didn't the streets crack and the sewers collapsed?" If a terrorist was involved it made a lot of sense, with the powers they can throw around its bound to have collateral damage. Though he wondered what were said terrorist fighting."Hopefully no civilians got hurt."

The enemy went down under the beating causing the idol to sigh in relief inwardly as he relaxed his stance, his body feeling drained from the attacks he had just unleashed right behind each other. It was strange. Even after all this time he still wasn’t used to the drain that using his persona had on him or maybe it was the lack of sleep that made it feel heavier than usual. It was hard to say, but the idol wouldn’t focus too long on this as his attention was drawn to Susan’s persona who had thankfully left the girl alone as it instead focused on healing himself and Isaac. He would give a soft thank you to the woman before trailing along behind the others as they continued onward in this hell hole.
The idol would remain mostly quiet as he listened to the sounds of the night around and felt the crisp air against the exposed skin of his face as he walked along. The sounds of demons all around was something that would bother some, but for some reason or another it brought a bit of comfort to the idol. Perhaps it was because the sound kept him on his toes, knowing he wasn’t alone in this place. Or maybe it was comforting because even with all the noise about he knew that the team he had with him was strong enough to hold their own ground and win. Whatever the case was, it kept the idol calm enough as he continued to follow the group that was mostly silent until Susan spoke up.
“Thanks for the insightful tip,” he would say as before falling quiet again to hear the rest of what was said. To this one the idol would shake his head a bit.
“Unfortunately, I don’t know what that was all about. I heard the sounds, but had some personal matters to attend to so I didn’t investigate all that happened,” he would say in his usual calm voice. It seemed that a lot was going on since that event with T, stuff that he still hadn’t caught up on. He wondered if he would ever be caught up on the events going on. Probably not, but he didn’t need to be unless it was relevant to him or his well being right?
That thought aside, it would seem that break time was over as enemies would soon be before them again. “Right.” Was all he would say in response to Susan’s words before moving to follow the others.

("Huh, can't believe the spinster finally has good advice.")
As much as Joseph was reluctant to admit, the grandma was finally acting like a real leader here. If only she stopped the stuttering then maybe it'd be easier to pretend to be one. Nothing screamed "I don't know what I'm doing", "Daddy, help me", or "I made a mistake" than stuttering your words. But you can't always win your battles, can you? Props for trying at least, because this entire team was going to need it for this blood-stained evening. Or else the entire crew would star in a horrendous degenerate Japanese porn flick. To be fair, however, the proceedings in this mission were exceptionally well for the time being.
"You mean the one where the cops were set on fire? My brothers in law enforcement were talking about it. They were pretty shocked one of our own had to blow up an entire sewer line to catch those bastards. It collapsed and they still have people trying to clear the rubble and fix it. No one got hurt, but what a shit storm..."
Ha, fuck that Cadet. Because of that brainless Neanderthal with powers, his brother kept poking at him and complaining about the disastrous and careless use of power. Collateral damage was one thing, but civilians were an entire issue that warranted necessary analysis and self-reflection. Joseph agreed it was pretty damn stupid of him, but could careless about the useless sheep in the background. He couldn't quite put his finger on the Cadet's identity, but if he had to guess, the Cadet would wager his entire month's salary on a certain bloodthirsty knight. Joseph added further with an annoyed and tired scratch to his earlobe, "Word goes, it was that Platinum Playhouse spokesman on television the night before. But, he got away and this other dude was caught."
You blew up an entire sewer and still failed to catch the fucker. If that wasn't a flop of a blunder, he certainly didn't know what else to describe this useless travesty of work. Before the Cadet could even mull further on the topic with his peers, it became apparent the banter and gossip had to end with work coming back to demand their time.
—Strength Name: Kerrigan Vigor —Description: His workout ethic gave him an impressive body to behold for someone of his stature. He's tough and built to endure most of anything. Most importantly he's built to keep himself going for long periods of time when under stress and exertion. Slash attacks cost 2% less to use.
—Strength Name: Basic Combat Training —Description: Originally he was aiming to be a police officer. But his family is leading him to become a Cadet. Taking advice and training from his former military and law enforcement family members, Joseph can carry himself with confidence and knows what he's doing when in the heat of the moment. Strike attacks cost 2% less to use.
—Strength Name: Magic Eye —Description: As a result of the trial experiments his parents let him join, his eye can turn its sclera black and iris scarlet red. It allowed him to have vastly improved eyesight in which he can almost perceive near sub-sonic speeds. But it doesn't mean he can act right away for most situations. 15% boost to Luck stat.
—Weakness Name: Normal Joe —Description: Because of his focus on working out and perhaps as a result of his experimentation, he finds difficulty in using magical skills. It doesn't mean he can't use them, but it will take out a whole lot more. Magical attack skills cost 5 more SP to cast.
—Weakness Name: Normal Joe 2 —Description: Likewise, because of his lacking affinity to using magical skills, it's harder for him to aim using them. It complicates his ability to use fine and precise actions with them. 10% additional miss chance when using magical attack skills.
—Weakness Name: Psychosis —Description: His eye tends to have sudden random "attacks". But it is more of an attack of his own mind. Kerrigan experiences a debilitating state of something resembling dementia from time to time. For the first three turns in battle only, Kerrigan has a 10% chance of skipping that turn.

Isaac stayed silent until he was sure they were talking about the mission he thought they were. He had spoken out on this before, but not to these few. Perhaps he ought to shed a little light on the matter. "I was there. Two Terrorists assaulted police officers and fled, escaping into the Sewers. Albrecht and I were order to intercept them. At first, it went fine. We caught one, then Albrecht chased the other down and we had both of them."
Isaac folded his arms over his chest, remembering. "If I had to guess, I would say the younger one was a new recruit or something, out on his own. He didn't seem to know much about what was going on. The other likely was attempting to rescue him or maybe persuade him to join their cause? I don't know much about the burocrocy of Terrorists, I'll admit."
"In any case, as we had them both in custody, the unconscious leader - or we thought he was unconscious - used a kind of skill that made us... hallucinate the ceiling collapsing on us, escaping in the process. The irony is that after I took the younger one out of harm's way Albrecht brought down the Sewers for real." Isaac shook his head. "Albrecht said it wasn't his intention, but looking back I can't help but think - what right do we have to police the use of other's power if we can't control our own?"
In his explanation, he hadn't realized how much he'd said, or that they were now about converge on the enemy. "Sorry, got a little carried away in the briefing there. Just thought since we were discussing it, I'd give you the info I had."
The soldier pulled his sword out again and took a deep breath as he moved to follow the others. "Let's Get 'em."

The back briefing did grab her attention somewhat but that could all be discussed at a later time. For the moment one of the creatures would need to be dealt with. Susan hung back to direct combat as Seshat bathed the dim light in a secure glow of assuredness.
We will conduct this as we have before, enhance your attributes if possible or probe enemy defenses. I will be giving information shortly.
Susan's Stats:
Level 12 Strong: Light, Gun (Bulletproof Vest) Weak: Fire
Strength: Professional Courtesy - Charm and Rage have their success rates lowered by 15% against Susan. Strength: I'm the One in Control! - Once per withdrawal from Persona Overdose Susan can choose the target of a skill she uses instead of rolling randomly. She makes this choice after rolling for her target. The skill is still rolled randomly like normal.
Weakness: Not According to Plan - Panic and Fear have an extra 15% chance to succeed against Susan. Weakness: Rip Off the Bandage - When Susan is suffering the negative effects after Persona Overdose she loses 10% of her total HP every turn. This damage can and will knock her unconscious if she isn't careful but it can't result in her death since her Persona won't willingly kill its host.

"Nobody died then. I cannot judge him, he has never disobeyed an order either even when he clearly disagreed with it." Gionatan had failed before and many died, then he had to hear to Cecilia's judgmental shit talk. But she was just 14 and at least she said it to her face, she has more balls than a few of her older peers."... I'm pretty sure it was a portion of the sewer that collapsed as well."

He would listen to the others chat about the incident that he must’ve missed when he was down and out after that mission. It sounded like the Cadets had tried to capture some terrorists and only succeeded half way, but managed to bring a good chunk of the sewer system down? That didn’t sound good and it brought up some interesting talk about the power they used. “This power is only as dangerous as the wielder,” was all he said before focusing on the enemy ahead. He heard the command and moved into battle.
