The attack came. It did not put her down. She did not expect it to, this was good news. Nor did she fall sleep, Seshat saw to that. But the bandages began to tighten once more.
You were to hasty. You called upon me too early. Don't you believe in your own ability? If this is the case, then stand aside, thrall. If you are incapable then it is soon my turn...
Susan did not dignify this with a response aside from minor panic and a feeling of desperation. She still had a job to do. And she needed this small boost in power to accomplish that. She focused as her teammates would be able to see all that would occur in the next few seconds, every possible result of their actions written like lines in the sand. They merely needed to pick the correct one and they could not miss.
"Now. Engage at full strength. Jackie, disable your limiters. Azami, unleash your stored power. Terui, be on standby in case this backfires. I will soon be out of commission."
Maria uses Black Keys for 210 Slash damage on Snappy.

Like clockwork and just as threatened, Susan barely had time to sneak two fingers underneath her bandages before they snapped around her throat. The papyrus sliced at her fingers, cutting them deeply but it was less of a struggle to breathe.
You have had your chance, thrall. Now it is my opportunity. But first while I have you we will try an experiment.
Susan was terrified of this experiment, of what it could be. With a motion from the pharoah an Ankh of light appeared over her and pressed itself into her form. For a brief time she felt a... calming nothingness. Not quite relaxation but the absence of all feeling, like awakening from a long sleep. But it ultimately did nothing.
Hmmm... I was certain that would give me more control over your body. Never the matter, I will find another way.
And she was right to be terrified as she was. The short woman was not entirely certain what her Persona was looking to accomplish, to kill her, ease her movements, or worse, but in any case it wasn't a good thing. Desperately she struggled and gasped for breath, working the palm of her hand under the bandages.
