The lightning blast danced across the battlefield but Wicked wasn't laughing. She stood with a hand on her hip shaking her head instead. Even as the enemy was knocked to the dirt she didn't show any signs of her usually, carnage-loving self. She was starting to get tired, it showed in her sluggish movements and waning enthusiasm.
"Okay so like what was gonna make this fun was blowing that gold thing to hell and getting some really cool shit, but you can't even gimme that, huh? I'm gonna do you a favor and make this quick before you fuckin' piss me off."
The witch twirled her staff in her fingertips of one hand over her head before striking the ground with it. Her Persona motioned with that same hand upward, magic circles appearing from under her feet to under the enemies to shower them in exploding floor tile.

Let us recount all that is wrong. First, the hand of gold made its great escape. Second, the shields so recently erected were blown away. Finally, a demon content to die before demonstrated a power that Revenant couldn't help but find most troublesome indeed.
"It is decided." "You are marked for death."
Stats:
12 Strike Damage after shield. 6 after Resistance. 5 after PEnd.
Hack & Slash | Inflicts a small amount of Slash damage twice to one enemy. | 8% HP | Tier 1
Mamudo | 20% chance of instant death from the power of Darkness to all enemies. | 12 SP | Tier 1
Stagnant Air | Increases all allies' and enemies' susceptibility to ailments and light/dark spells by 20% for three turns. | 5 SP | Tier 1
Dark Arts | Moderate physical slash damage with a 20% chance of instant death through Mudo to a single opponent. | 16% HP | Tier 2
Soul Skill - Reaping Arms: Description: The target's weapon becomes a ghostly version of its normal form, changing its effect on those struck by it. Target's DEX attacks deal Dark damage instead of their normal damage type for the duration of the effect. Lasts for 3 turns. Cost: 6 SP Tier: 1
Relevant Strengths/Weaknesses:
—Strength Name: Romantically Uninclined —Description: "What? No, I'm not interested in anyone. If it happens, it happens, alright?" Cecil's interest in actively pursuing a relationship is very low, and he lacks any particularly strong attraction to any of the people around him. The chances of Cecil being Charmed are 15% lower than normal.
—Strength Name: A Desire to Change —Description: "This...this isn't good enough. I can do this. I want to do this! I just. Have. To do it!" There's many places Cecil's fallen short. Many places where he could do better. And despite his issues, he genuinely wants to better himself, and is more than happy to take any assistance offered in doing so. Buffs received by Cecil increase his stats by an extra 10%.
—Strength Name: Through Thick and Thin —Description: "I really don't have many good friends. Put bluntly, it sucks. So...I'm glad you're here. You put your faith in me. I'll do right by you." As one familiar to loneliness and misery, a good friend means more to Cecil than it might to others, and he has a deep appreciation for everything they do for him. It makes him a lot happier than he'd otherwise be. When Cecil receives healing from someone he has at least a Rank 3 Social Link with, he recovers 10% more health than normal.
—Weakness Name: Mounting Stress —Description: Beneath the surface, it bubbles away, a vicious cocktail of miseries and frustrations with his current existence. And he's no clue how to release them. Cecil lives with a persistent emotional tension that is often not so much relieved as it is pushed from perception. The chances of Cecil becoming Distressed or Panicked are 10% higher than normal.
—Weakness Name: Fleeting Highs, Crushing Lows —Description: "You know...I really have to be glad for the good times I have. It makes everything else a bit more bearable." As he is now, Cecil finds it hard to keep his mood up. The negativity is pervasive, that nagging awareness in the back of his mind of all that is wrong and the things he's done wrong, dragging him down further and further the longer he's in its grip. When things are bad, it just gets worse. Debuffs inflicted on Cecil reduce his stats by an extra 10%.
—Weakness Name: Broken Bottle —Description: It builds...moment by moment, the pressure builds. Higher and higher, pushing harder and harder...until eventually, the bottle breaks, and the shards fly like shrapnel. Cecil can't keep things bottled up forever. Most of his feelings are deeply suppressed, and when he's finally pushed far enough that his emotions are let loose, he gets overwhelmed from the tidal wave flowing over him. This causes him to pretty much break down. Badly. While Cecil is suffering from Rage, Panic, Distress, or Fear, he takes 10% more damage than he would normally.

The attack shattered one of their shields but the rest held and Unison looked at the group, no one needed her to heal them, and they all had at least a small defense up, meaning she couldn't bolster it again yet so she simply raised her hands in a defensive posture as her pawn continued to fan her making her feel rejuvenated.

The witch grit her teeth as the lion-snake-thingy jumped out of the way of her attack. Even though she was becoming exhausted apathy gave way to rage in a heartbeat. "Yeah! Pissing me off by doing dumb shit like THAT!" she screeched as she ducked down and charged the enemy. The unpredictable maneuver caused its counter attack to go over her head but a cold snap of frost from overhead knocked it to the ground. Wicked moved from running straight toward the creature to dashing between the two, clenching her fist and bringing it to her pounding head to help her focus and summon the willpower to just kill everything in the room. Bridgette Bishop appeared above her and extended her hands out toward each enemy, crackling with energy.
"Aaaaahahahahaaa! Dodge this, bitch!" "By all means, survive if you can. Make this entertaining."

Revenant reels as the wind strikes, taking a long, frustrated breath out. He finds himself grinning a little as a bombardment of lightning and ice takes the enemy that troubled him, but it fades as he focuses back on their remaining foe. "I would claim no hard feelings...but that would be a lie."
Kill this thing, and see if they could find the hand. That's the plan.

Triity looked at the battle going on and could see it was maybe reaching it's conclusion, however she was going to make sure that her and her allies were in top fighting form as she raised her arm and pawns appeared "see to the wounded" she said simply as the pawns saluted and rushed the party applying bandages that would sink into their bodies and their wounds would heal.

Taking a deep breath, Gabe would sigh as he looked to his left and right for his small search of the creature that left. They managed to get a little bit of junk out of other creatures that they managed to beat, as well as gather a little bit of information in regards to the creatures that they fought a minute ago. "Are you all paying attention? Unless I seem to already forget about the opponents we faced with the time of being over here, I noted about two weaknesses throughout the fight that turned the tide. With some hope that these kinds of openings are consistent among demons of those types, maybe we can have an easier time and not waste any time scanning them if we could simply make a gamble upon the information we gathered. " With that being said, Gabe walked a little slower for the others to catch up, refraining from using shadow accel for the time being as he took out a snuff soul and basically sniffed the contents in order to replenish his spiritual energy. " If I may be so bold, now would be the time to dip into our reserve item share in order to replenish our spiritual energy if we all have at least one of these contents upon our person. We made a few detours and this is a long stretch after trying to chase after that hand like demon. The last treasure that we managed to miss is on the other side of the dungeon so to speak, and there is a demon blocking the way. Right now, it would not be in our best interest to take too much time lollygagging around without keeping the main objective at hand. "
As he continued to lead. Gabe wanted to do a small sound off. " Is everyone fine? Not just mentally, but physically? Maybe for the newer members of the platinum playhouse, you'll notice that the damage isn't completely physical. There seems to be a spiritual layer that protects our bodies from harm. Some of these attacks look like they will do a number on people that don't contain out kind of abilities or protection, one of the reasons why I think demons are so dangerous is due to the fact that the potential of genocide imminent if they were bold enough. As a matter of fact, if we do win, I mean... get rid of the government after exposing them, how far are we planning on taking this? Do we send the demons back where they came somehow?"

The hyper active witch rolled her neck as the enemies were destroyed. Pssssh, it's fuckin' gone. This really sucks." Well, whatever. Can't win'em all That sounds like loser talk, of course you can win'em all if you're not worthless. Guess what that makes you? it was a pain in the ass. Wicked clutched at her head as they continued, it felt like a sand blaster was blowing through her sinuses. It was a dull throb and like she felt fine but it was mentally draining keeping upbeat all the time when everyone else wanted to be a killjoy. This wasn't as fun as she thought it would be. But she wasn't about to stop giving it a shot, at this point it was more of a statement than anything else. They needed to lighten up. At least she was willing to keep up with it until the smooth talker had some sound advice for them.
Patricia fixed her pained posture and became mockingly upbeat as she addressed him with dark laughter and a sickeningly cheery tone. "Heeheeha wow, I wonder who that comment was directed at, huh? I bet if I just fuckin' left I could stop wasting your time, huh?" Yeah, yeah she was fuckin' paying attention alright. Wicked crossed her arms and turned her body away in a pout. That was freakin' uncalled for, she didn't come in and call anyone else out for anything, that shit was rude as hell. She wasn't gonna comment on any of their mission garbage either, Patty couldn't give a rat's ass what they did. Besides, she didn't wanna talk again, if she did she'd probably get a whole lot worse... Maybe it was her migraine and the drain on her mind that made her say that but she wasn't taking it back or apologizing. If she wasn't appreciated she didn't have to be there, that was the difference between her and them. This wasn't her crusade or her job. Patricia could just leave.
As talk went on about how all of this works Wicked would realize that she did in fact by something for spiritual healing. Velvet Blues, a special brand of cigarette. Really she bought'em 'cause she thought they were spice but hey, either way she needed to calm down and focus and drugs were the quickest path to that. As she lit up the flame was a dark indigo and the smoke hung around like floating blue suede. It gave off an inviting and calming scent that would smell different to everyone in meaningful ways, some may think it smelled like burnt popcorn or a campfire, others might find it smells like scented candles or incense. To Patty it just smelled like a cigarette. The witch took a relaxing lungful of smoke and breathed out slowly. She'd do her best to move past her bad mood and keep going. For the moment. Blowing stuff up was still fun and more fun with people but if everyone couldn't chill the hell out she'd think again. "*phewwwwww...* ...Up to you, dude. I couldn't give a shit," Wicked shrugged, "I'm here to fight stuff with crazy superpowers and have fun, I really don't care. And if I did care or start caring I'm not even gonna think about it until it happens, it's pointless to plan for shit you don't know about and can't control."
