One of the things that come to mind when Gabe went through the trouble of going over to the treasure was excitement. He was excited at the fact that maybe the thing was starting to look up a little for them as they would be blessed with a pretty good item that could help them on their journey. However, when Gabe opened the treasure chest, a look of confusion would sprawl on his face as he scratched his head and lifted the items. "I know this one, a dis-poison. " It was somewhat of a pricey item, but Gabe couldn't help but to suck his teeth at the fact that running into all of those demons giving them a decent run for their money. "I wouldn't necessarily say cool stuff, the experience is useful for the end result of being more efficient with dealing against tough opponents. But even then, the amount of growth that you can achieve always comes with the risk of the hidden knife. You'll never know what these mobs will be carrying, god forbid they end up having something that can put us in a tight position with no hope of recovery."
Kneeling down, Gabe started to distribute the last dispositions to the rest of them. With the slam of the chest, it vanished and they went on their way. " Unison, Revenant, these are for you. I had two for starters before we came across this chest, so with a quick item check, we each have one in case someone gets poisoned, with two to spare. If there was one thing I forgot to do, it was do a proper item check to see if we needed to be even more prepared-" Gabe was cut off mid-sentence as he saw wicked already starting to walk over to the next bit of the treasure. "Hey, Wicked! Come on now, it's best to stick together. " With Revenant following behind, it was made apparent to Gabe as to what they were talking about before. It was something in regards to some kind of Irish car bomb or anything of the sort. Gabe was at a loss of words for that, but there was something that he did understand. "Those items are very important for making a proper item that could be catered to how you fight. You'll never know, that rusted flute could be the key ingredient to making an item that makes your darkness more successful or accurate. "

Unison listened to the two of them as Shotaro and Wicked both started to pry the chest open, Honestly Unison didn't expect to much out of the chest, the most useful things she had gotten tended to be bought or found on the enemy, but as Shotaro commented on the need for having more of these Items she nodded and took the one offered, "Indeed, I made sure to acquire some before we came here to make sure I could tend to any wounded I could, that included things that could addle the body or mind for the most part, but I also brought a selection of medicinal items to aid in recovery of the spirit if needed" she said making sure the others knew she was prepared at least on the medical front.
Though she looked at the other two, Revenant and Wicked, and she listened to there exchange, about bottles and car bombs, she knew nothing about what they were talking about when it came to car bombs, but as Wicked added more information she assumed it was a type of drink, though as Revenant continued on he mentioned that Wicked's current state could be helped by the contents of the other bottle he made mention of. Just hearing that line confirmed for Unison what he was talking about, as she herself had a decent amount of knowledge due to her own medical needs, no doubt it was something medical, and with the way Wicked had been acting...perhaps something to control her temper?
In the end it wasn't for her to pry, she just needed to know that they would be able to help while they were in there, she didn't know to much about the two of them but by the sounds of it they knew a fair bit about each other, something she wish she still had like she had with Selenus. She then looked to Shotaro reminding herself that in the end she had him as a friend at least, though she wondered if he would fully consider her one, they hadn't talked for a while after all.
In the end the group started to move once more and Unison simply followed, she wasn't a fighter, the others were and so she let them focus on the fighting they would have to do, she would focus on tending to the wounded that she would have to do.

Wicked zoomed down the hallways and unsurprisingly her team followed suit. They were going to the same place anyway, what was the harm? As everyone else caught up she gave them pretty much a full-body wave. "Hahahaha, c'mon! Keep up, slowpokes! I still got stuff I wanna do tonight!" She jumped on the chest much like the last one and produced a... some kind of jewelry. Sweet! She held it out toward the knight as if proving a point. "See! This one looks pretty cool, dontcha think? Like Dis-Poison or whatever shyeah right but like this is an emerald or some shit! Tell me that's not cool." These other two people she hadn't met before, Tux or... did she hear his name? Probably not. Anyway Tux and Unison, they were pretty serious about this but they were like freedom fighters or something so it sounded about right. She'd chime in a bit, it was their show after all. She was just here to fight stuff and wreck shop. "Wow, you guys sound like professionals!" she'd praise with a hand on her hip. "Like I bought stuff but I didn't really prepare for anything, just they typical fights. Tssss, we're gonna be fine anyway, these things are kinda pathetic."
At least Revenant was finally being cool again. Even if he was a wet blanket about everything. She walked toward him to put an arm around his shoulder like a best friend would. "Hey dude, bottles adrift are gifts! The house gave it to me, hahahahaaaa!" Her eyes lit up and her smile brightened under her hat, though it was impossible to see, when the knight talked about wanting more drinks like that. "Fuck yeah, dude! Hey, you wanna go get more when this is over? I'd be down for chilling at the bar in a stupid witch outfit, it's more fun to get drunk in costume." But he kept talking and her face fell. Her posture slumped as she took her arm off of him and a step or two back, arms crossed. "Aheh... I'm fine," she reassured with a very unconvincing laugh and tone. "Look, this isn't anything you need to worry about or anything I wanna talk about. Nothing is wrong with me, I'm fine. You worry about you, I'll worry about me, 'kay?" As Wicked stepped away and turned her head to address everyone at once her mood lightened back to what it was before. "Hey, you guys better keep up this time!" she taunted in a good mood, "There was a hallway back there I wanted to check out, like something that big has to go somewhere, right?" The witch took a few jogging steps before disappearing around the corner in a blur.

Once again, they managed to get something that could very well be useful if everyone had one in case that Gabe was downed for the time being and unable to act. However, Gabe sort of hoped that he was to get something that was a little more useful than that. Backup plans were fine and all, and the way to escape was invaluable. Nevertheless, Gabe kind of gave up on looking for a new item to add to his collection and was about to give up until he looked on over to the seemingly fast and impatient Witch going off once again. It was bit irritating that the woman didn't know how to slow down just a little bit for the others to catch up, but Gabe didn't feel the need to reprimand her for the time being. There were a time and place for everything, now wasn't the time.
"Professionals? Well, we are in the business of being terrorists. However, instead of random damage, murder and carnage, along with letting the demons go free and wreck the city; our group decided to free the city from the government's influence by exposing the very same people who placed themselves in a position of power when Endymion was most desperate."
Adjusting his hat, Gabe would follow along as he patted Unison on her shoulder. "What seems to be on your mind, thinking about the meeting we had with the other two some time ago?" That situation was an unresolved mess, and Gabe didn't know his standing with them. However, call it a flaw if necessary, but Gabe refused to bend a knee so easily if things couldn't go full circle and they all could admit to their own faults in the group. Gabe could admit to that without any sort of mercy being shown in the sense of people watching their words. Whatever they honestly had to say about him or how Gabe made them feel, he wanted them to get it off of their chest so that they all could move forward. However, it seemed as if they couldn't, losing some pretty good allies in theory. Gabe had no intention of giving them up, but he would also have no intention of being apart of their massacre with skelker. If the time came to stop them, they would just have to go down with the rest of the government.

...he could just feel the headache coming on. "Of course it is. Because between glowing fragments and the claws of a demon, it is a flute covered in rust that will prove the most crucial to my future designs." The worst part was...he was probably right.
==========
You know what's fun about having a helmet? You can roll your eyes at the stupid antics surrounding you, and basically nobody will be able to see. They can guess you're doing it, but they will never, ever have proof. Which meant Revenant could roll his eyes how he pleased as Wicked called out about the rest of them being slow. "I'm certain you do. Looting and magical bombardment doesn't occur by itself, don't you know."
This one had...gemstones? An exasperated groan escaped Revenant before he even had the chance to cut it off. Of COURSE there were gemstones lying about here. Because why the fuck wouldn't there be "gemstones lying around in a dead end corner..." "And come to think, why ARE there dead end corridors like this? Who the fuck designed this building?! Why would you-" You are speaking your thoughts aloud. ...AAAAAGH! Revenant pointedly cleared his throat. "I'm not sure what you believe you heard escape my lips, but I assure you, I did not say it."
Another benefit of helmets - hiding the leery expression that develops when the simultaneously overly friendly and utterly homicidal which decides to act like they were a lot more comfortable with you than you sure as fuck were with them. Revenant stiffens for a moment as the arm falls around his shoulder, and then forces himself to let go of the tension. ...it didn't work, but they always said it was the thought that counted. Cecil tried to smile, but he just couldn't relax. "...why not? It is not as if I had a better use of my time planned." And the sad thing was, he was actually up for this. Looking forward to it, even. Was he insane? He had to be. He remembered what happened last time, and he was willingly going back to that? He knew he was a walking example of the things that could be wrong with a person, but it seemed at least one of those issues was a lot worse than he could have ever imagined if this was his reality at the moment.
...she was pretending nothing was wrong. Of course she was. He already knew he couldn't push the issue. That was just a recipe for disaster. He didn't want to let it go, though...gaaah. "...I hope it's me you're trying to convince with those words." More kept pushing, but he took a breath...and let go. Deep, down into the depths to bubble away. "I cannot force anything Wicked, but at the same time, it is hard share a drink with a bloodied corpse."
...mouth. Stop. Opening. Let it go, let it go... Keep on walking. Jogging. Running. Whatever. Doing whatever this was. Follow the Withering Witch.

Unison simply watched as the two with them continued to bicker but it was clear they knew each other outside these activities, though the reaction that Wicked gave to the mentioning of the bottle only confirmed Unison's assumptions on it being some form of medication, though even as things continued it seemed that Wicked was stating she didn't need them, while They also continued to plan to apparently go out some time after all this was over, she only watched the two of them wondering if they were more then friends? though the actions of both would speak more towards friendship, that is until Wicked put her arm around Revenant and the male seemed to not expect and not want the action.
Eventually mention of Shotaro and her being professionals came up and Shotaro answered, not that Unison would have had any reason to answer at the moment, she technically wasn't a professional, even Shotaro's answer wasn't wholly in line with what she wanted, but it was good enough of an answer for the other two for now, honestly she didn't know what she wanted out of all this anymore, she started out to help Selenus and Tatsui but now one was dead and the other missing, at first that was all she wanted to do, help, but eventually she started to think what if she could awaken everyone? let them see and meet the ones inside them? Give them the power to protect themselves?.....to fight the government themselves? She had been warned against doing such a thing from all three of her friends, in the end she thought maybe they where right. But then what was she fighting for? Revenge was one thing that Selenus asked she not do.
Just then her thoughts were inturrupted by Shotaro asking her if something was wrong, and mentioning the meeting they had with the others, and she shook her head "We tried to talk to them....one refused to see the other in anything but the most positive light....the other refused to see themselves as anything but the most important.....they chose to take a path that we were fighting against from the start....ssmething another friend of ours wanted to fight towards in their own way...they made their choice...We have to make ours eventually..." when she said we she didn't mean her and Shotaro, she meant her and her siblings, though she remembered the other part of the message Selenus had sent her, asking her to find his father...she had nothing to really fight for on her own, so she would fight for this in the stead of her passed friend.
With that she moved on, feeling some choice had been made, maybe one that she could at least focus on for the long term as she tried to find something she herself wanted to fight for other then the memories and promise she made herself and to her friend before he died. Though she knew she didn't have much time to plan...nor a long future to which to plan for...

As the witch skidded to a stop she found more enemies before her, more things to blow up. Only this was different. This time one of'em looked hella cool! It was like, made of gold! "Yoooooo! I bet this one's gonna drop something really cool!" she exclaimed. Bridgette Bishop appeared next to her, hovering her crystal ball in front of Wicked.
"Wow, you're right! Like this thing is just made of money! Let's cripple it before it can run away, teehee~!"
Her mind was beginning to ache again, but Wicked gripped her staff tightly as a star chart erupted from the crystal ball above the foursome, plotting out every single detail about their enemy. Her tongue stuck out past her lips a bit. She enjoyed this, yeah, but delicious moments like this were why she enjoyed it. Slay the golden demon and roll in the dough, yo!

Under normal circumstances, had Revenant encountered a giant golden walking hand, that would have been yet another blow to his sanity. However, he had the wonderful excuse of the thing being a demon to work with, a lovely signal to his mind that its from wasn't a thing he needed to make sense of in the way he had attempted to do both with the place that surrounded him at the moment, and the actions of his teammates.
Instead, that left him with an object to focus on in order to relieve just a little bit of the tensions that had steadily been ramping up. "It matters not what it is made of. IT. SHALL. FALL."
Hack & Slash | Inflicts a small amount of Slash damage twice to one enemy. | 8% HP | Tier 1
Mamudo | 20% chance of instant death from the power of Darkness to all enemies. | 12 SP | Tier 1
Stagnant Air | Increases all allies' and enemies' susceptibility to ailments and light/dark spells by 20% for three turns. | 5 SP | Tier 1
Dark Arts | Moderate physical slash damage with a 20% chance of instant death through Mudo to a single opponent. | 16% HP | Tier 2
Soul Skill - Reaping Arms: Description: The target's weapon becomes a ghostly version of its normal form, changing its effect on those struck by it. Target's DEX attacks deal Dark damage instead of their normal damage type for the duration of the effect. Lasts for 3 turns. Cost: 6 SP Tier: 1
Relevant Strengths/Weaknesses:
—Strength Name: Romantically Uninclined —Description: "What? No, I'm not interested in anyone. If it happens, it happens, alright?" Cecil's interest in actively pursuing a relationship is very low, and he lacks any particularly strong attraction to any of the people around him. The chances of Cecil being Charmed are 15% lower than normal.
—Strength Name: A Desire to Change —Description: "This...this isn't good enough. I can do this. I want to do this! I just. Have. To do it!" There's many places Cecil's fallen short. Many places where he could do better. And despite his issues, he genuinely wants to better himself, and is more than happy to take any assistance offered in doing so. Buffs received by Cecil increase his stats by an extra 10%.
—Strength Name: Through Thick and Thin —Description: "I really don't have many good friends. Put bluntly, it sucks. So...I'm glad you're here. You put your faith in me. I'll do right by you." As one familiar to loneliness and misery, a good friend means more to Cecil than it might to others, and he has a deep appreciation for everything they do for him. It makes him a lot happier than he'd otherwise be. When Cecil receives healing from someone he has at least a Rank 3 Social Link with, he recovers 10% more health than normal.
—Weakness Name: Mounting Stress —Description: Beneath the surface, it bubbles away, a vicious cocktail of miseries and frustrations with his current existence. And he's no clue how to release them. Cecil lives with a persistent emotional tension that is often not so much relieved as it is pushed from perception. The chances of Cecil becoming Distressed or Panicked are 10% higher than normal.
—Weakness Name: Fleeting Highs, Crushing Lows —Description: "You know...I really have to be glad for the good times I have. It makes everything else a bit more bearable." As he is now, Cecil finds it hard to keep his mood up. The negativity is pervasive, that nagging awareness in the back of his mind of all that is wrong and the things he's done wrong, dragging him down further and further the longer he's in its grip. When things are bad, it just gets worse. Debuffs inflicted on Cecil reduce his stats by an extra 10%.
—Weakness Name: Broken Bottle —Description: It builds...moment by moment, the pressure builds. Higher and higher, pushing harder and harder...until eventually, the bottle breaks, and the shards fly like shrapnel. Cecil can't keep things bottled up forever. Most of his feelings are deeply suppressed, and when he's finally pushed far enough that his emotions are let loose, he gets overwhelmed from the tidal wave flowing over him. This causes him to pretty much break down. Badly. While Cecil is suffering from Rage, Panic, Distress, or Fear, he takes 10% more damage than he would normally.

"Hey that's not fair, you don't get to run away...!" the witch complained to her enemy, legitimately surprised at the notion they would even consider self-preservation. Like, being here and in front of her was pretty freakin' contradictory to survival in the first place. Wicked snorted and angrily flipped her hair. Now the rest had to die and they wouldn't have that cool of stuff as the one LITERALLY made of gold did. "Psssssh, this chaps my ass super hard."
Unison's barrier was once again like super convenient as the concussive wave of force was halted by the magical screen before it got to her, though it filled with several cracks. Seriously, like she could blink at it and it'd shatter, that would've fuckin' sucked to get hit by. Tux sounded like he was equally disappointed, she could relate. "Wicked, and... wicked! Hahaha okay, seriously though all of you are gonna die now." Bridgette Bishop's nails began to elongate, hair lengthening, and body changing as she transformed into her more violent incarnation to take out Wicked's negative emotions on the monsters in front of them.
"Okay, so like all of you are going to suffer for choosing your comrade over yourselves. That's the choice you've made. I hope you understand that."
A glowing light manifested between Bridgette Bishop's nails as she inspected them, lazily flicking her fingers to cast a maelstrom out through a magic circle in front of her hand.
