"Ughhhhhhh, fine. I'll kill you. Buuuut first, tell me about the book. Like, I'm totally chill killing a dude, but dead losers can't speak." Heather's patience was running thin, but she couldn't kill him yet...unfortunately.

"C'est la vie. I feel you. Comfort's hard to find, so might as well get it where you can. And I suppose you're inevitably getting exploited anyway with or without the smokes." Gisèle would nod respectfully to the man as he explained his rationale, once more adopting the nonchalant tone she had delivered her initial thoughts in, albeit this time peppering the words with a bit of genuine enthusiasm and sympathy. In spite of what his appearance and demeanor had implied at first, it seemed like this mutant had a good head on his shoulders. He was sensible, self-aware, and relatively down-to-earth to top it all off; his words added color to the rather lifeless image and painted out the picture of someone who wasn't delusional about their situation, just indifferent towards it. That newfound impression was only further cemented when he actually clarified his request. Gisèle hadn't met many people who actively welcomed death: they were always screaming and running away if you tried to kill them, shrieking about how they had so much to live for... This guy though? He got it. Maybe the time he had spent stuck to this wall let him cycle through the stages of grief or whatever. Who could say? All she knew was that it was admirable how he had come to terms with his situation.
With a solemn smile replacing the earlier shell of an expression, the Azure Knight took a few steps back to put some distance between them. She put the fairy's wing away, grabbed her bow, and after fishing an arrow out of here seemingly infinite pockets drew it back aiming toward his head. "I'd be happy to help... but like she said, we need the info first and we don't have all day either. The sooner you point us in the right direction, the sooner this can all end." Gisèle elaborated as she held the shot in place. She wasn't a fan of extorting needy people like this, but he was gonna die anyway and they needed to know where the book was. With his observations being the only hint they had gotten so far? Yeah, no, she wasn't about to abandon the lead he was gonna offer. Still, there was something else nagging at her too, something other than the ticking of a clock or the difficulties of extracting the truth. It didn't make her reluctant necessarily, mostly she was just curious...
"If you don't mind me asking, what about your wife?"
It wasn't like he'd be able to meet her again stuck to a wall down here, nor was she under the impression that he'd want her to see him like this, but it was a multi-faceted question and she was sure he could fill in the blanks as he saw fit. What she was really asking at the core of it was what her fate was -- or perhaps even what it would become. Had she been infected too? Did he want a message delivered to her so she'd know what happened? Hell, maybe she had come down here with him and they could pay her a quick visit... assuming they hadn't already slaughtered her without knowing on the way over.
Sniper Rifle - Aimed Shot - Accuracy and crit chance is increased by 20%, bullets also pierce through an enemy and ignore 10% of their PEnd. Takes a turn to charge/aim before able to fire. Consumes only one type of ammo per use. Can shoot only one enemy at a time.
Pulling out Envy and charging the shot. Gisèle will withhold from firing until she at least receives the information she and Heather are demanding.
Passives:
Invigorate 1 | Recovers 3 SP on each user turn | Passive | Tier 1
Soul Skill Name: Spirit of the Earth Persona Name: The Azure Knight Tier: Tier 1 Cost: Passive Type of Damage: N/A Description: It has been said that somewhere in a far off universe, demons who held chaos within their hearts aligned themselves with the mother of all life in a bid against both the armies of God and the twisted humans who had fallen victim to complacency while their planet decayed. While they ultimately failed in their mission to plunge the world into the primordial anarchy of the past, all who are considered the property and servants of the Morningstar still feel a faint connection to the goddess who the forces of hell once rallied behind. Even some demons such as Gisèle who never manifested in that universe and know nothing of it can instinctively call upon the oaths sworn with that deity in order to bend nature to their will during their struggles against authority. As a result, Gisèle does 15% extra damage whenever she uses earth skills against an enemy.
Relevant(?) Strengths/Weaknesses:
—Strength Name: Eat the Rich —Description: When fighting against another character Gisèle will deal 10% more damage to them if they have more VC than her in their inventory.
—Strength Name: Warrior of Chaos —Description: Throughout all her many incarnations across the multiverse the Scourge of Kings has always been a skilled swordswoman. Under the rare circumstance that she wasn't able to rely on her supernatural powers, she could fall back on her prowess with a blade and her natural speed to deal with her opponents. Mechanically this translates to her being able to attack twice in one turn with her soulbound weapon.
—Strength Name: Avatar of Malice —Description: Gisèle's fury is unyielding and on the battlefield she pulsates with inhuman levels of hatred. If she uses her class ability and enters her Corrupted form then once the duration ends she'll be inflicted with the Rage ailment specifically instead of a random one. It should be noted however that if for some reason she decides to enter Corrupted form again afterwards then whatever ailment she gets next will be randomized as it would typically be.
—Strength Name: Claws —Description: If Gisèle enters her Corrupted form then on both of her hands she will gain small claws capable of inflicting real damage on the enemy. These claws aren't anything spectacular; they're the length of average human fingers and will only inflict as much damage as a normal knife would do to the person. When up close and personal though they can be useful and if Gisèle wants to make a person's death look particularly gruesome then she can quite literally tear them to shreds through this.
—Racial Strength Name: I Am Thou, Thou Art I —Description: Gisèle is not a human being, but rather a product of them. While she does have a human form, it exists only as a container for her tale and soul, a hollow vessel that is only maintained by the beliefs and emotions of entities which know "true life." While she is still affected by real damage and can certainly be "killed" by non-supernatural weaponry, this method of destroying her will never be able to put a permanent end to her so long as someone within Junction continues to observe her existence in some form. As a result, Gisèle may reform within the Lower Ward of the city if killed through this method and will simply reappear with a new body with the old one having been destroyed in a burst of ethereal flames at the time of death.
It should be stressed however that this does not make her immortal. This racial strength applies only to death through real damage and cannot shield her against Personas, soulbounds, side-arms, soul skills, etc. If she dies to those then she's dead for good just like anyone else would be. In addition, her old body won't vanish for at least a few minutes and during this time the soul will continue to be housed within it thereby being open to attack. This means that were a person to acquire knowledge of this racial strength then they'd easily be able to counter it through simply wailing on the body through supernatural means until her HP is depleted to zero; the only saving grace to what would otherwise be a fatal flaw of this ability is the simple fact that it's extraordinarily unlikely that they'd arrive at this conclusion without Gisèle herself telling them about it.
If it's not obvious it should also be noted that any items or VC she had on her at the time of death will be lost. They won't even be able to be recovered by her allies or enemies as the flames which engulf her body will destroy all valuables on her person. Even if they take advantage of the short timeframe between her demise and her body's disappearance in order to loot from her discarded husk, the goods they gather from her will dematerialize in an instant as soon as she does.
Last but not least of the stipulations: it takes at least an ingame day for her to revive, so she absolutely cannot reenter the topic she died in or go into any other topics which were happening at the same moment. Even ignoring the day that it takes for her to resurrect, it'd still take some time to get from the Lower Ward to wherever she was last, so she can't just stroll right back in as if nothing happened.
—Weakness Name: Strange Bedfellows —Description: Needless to say by now, Gisèle is not very fond of those at the top of the food chain in society, so working alongside them can prove quite difficult. If the majority of her allies have more VC than her then any healing or buff skills used on her by her party will be 5% less effective. This means that a basic Media would only heal 15% of her HP instead of 20%, an unboosted Tarukaja would only give her a 25% increase in attack power, etc. This effect doesn't apply to passives, however, so skills such as Auto-Mataru would be unaffected by it.
—Weakness Name: Dated Tech —Description: It's not as if Gisèle's myth has never manifested in a world with advanced technology. Poverty exists in any time period after all and any reality where megacorporations exist is sure to attract her wrath like bees to honey. Speaking frankly though, it's far more likely for her to manifest somewhere like medieval Europe than it is for her to appear in Neo Tokyo. Her tale is one rooted in the feudal system of the time and the superstitions of the common people, so it's only natural that she'd take after those times in some way and feel slightly uncomfortable using highly advanced technology when there's a more familiar method available. It's partially because of this that her side-arm is a bow-and-arrow and because she uses this instead of a gun her attacks with Envy only ignore 5% of the enemy's PEnd instead of the usual 10%.
—Weakness Name: Aquaphobia —Description: Every time she stares out into the waters Gisèle is reminded of... unpleasant memories. Around significant amounts of water, she feels incredibly uncomfortable and she'll try her best to avoid it at any cost making swimming or visiting an aquarium out of the question for her. This also has the mechanical effect of increasing her chance of being inflicted with Fear for the next two turns after being struck by an ice or water skill. Ice increases the chance by 5% whereas water increases it by 10%. The extra chances don't stack on top of each other though; for instance, if she was hit by an ice skill and then shortly after hit by a water skill the 10% boost would override the 5%.
—Weakness Name: Monstrous —Description: When Gisèle goes into her Corrupted form she reveals herself as the Sword of Satan and thereby a demonic entity. In this state light skills are 10% more effective against her.
—Racial Weakness Name: Azure Sin —Description: Gisèle's inexorable ties to her myth and her supernatural nature grant her a means of defying death, but they also ensure that she will forever be a slave to the parable from which she sprung. As such, she will never be free of that Azure Sin, the crime that stained her inside and out and stole from her her humanity, that very first murder that her tragedy itself is intrinsically rooted in. It matters not whether the tale is true or false, whether or not someone could convince her that it was just a legend; she is nothing more than an actor on a stage, a pawn of pawns cursed to play the role she was given. And so shall the waters forever reject her, so shall she never know comfort within the waves.
What this means is that if someone were to submerge her body in water after killing her through real damage they'd negate her chance of revival and cause her to experience death as she normally would. However, this also has another and arguably much more potent effect.
Any time a water skill is used on Gisèle it has a chance of instantly killing her as if it were a light or dark skill of an equivalent tier. The way the skills normally function doesn't change meaning that she still receives damage in PvS from being attacked by them, they just have an extra benefit when used against her on top of that. Any relevant boosts to water skills will also increase the chance of the instant kill being a success but just like for light and dark skills it can't exceed the cap that's in place.
"Right! Right the book, sorry. Yeah I saw this dude wearing a weird mascot head walk past with a book in his hands. Normally I wouldn't pay to much mind to stuff like that but when you're stuck to a wall staring at another wall all day you tend to pick up on the small stuff. I didn't get a good look at it but it looked like he was headed due north from here... Got a really weird vibe from the book though...It felt nice to be around."
The creature lit another cig and breathed deeply form it and let out another large cloud of toxic smelling smoke as it mulled over it's impending fate and the question posed by Gisele.
"My wife... Hopefully she's already dead. I really hope she didn't end up like me. Oh well, nothing for it now. We had a deal. I give you what I know about your book and you shoot me in the face. Guess what time it is? At the sound of the tone it will be face shoot o'clock. Ding!"

The second the man gave the signal she released the shot. Gisèle would fire the arrow straight into his skull without hesitation and it'd pierce through his mangled brain matter killing him nigh instantly... at least, that was how it'd hopefully go down, but it wouldn't surprise her if that wasn't enough. These weapons behaved much differently than their normal counterparts and she was well aware of that fact, not to mention that this particular mutant appeared rather bulky, although being sizeable didn't necessarily equate to sturdy flesh. Regardless of the reasons behind it, however, the Azure Knight was more than ready to follow up on her initial attack if it was necessary; if the shot didn't kill him then she'd drop the bow and summon Wrath into her hands in order to finish him off with several visceral swings of her soulbound sword. No matter how bloody the process got she'd appear completely unfazed by it and if successful would simply holster her weapon(s) in silence before finally turning back to face the carcass.
"Yeah. I hope so too."
She whispered the words under her breath with an eerie tenderness unbefitting of such a ruthless killer. Perhaps Heather would hear them, perhaps she wouldn't; the Scourge seemed to care little either way as she'd swiftly forget them herself and move onto the subject at hand. "So if he's to be believed it sounds like someone's actively spreading these things around. You think they're in some kind of feud with Cinder?" Gisèle asked as she thought the description of the culprit over. She wasn't sure why they'd be wearing a mascot head, but whatever, there were weirder things in this city. If it was an attempt at a disguise then they could certainly do shittier.
13 dex from gun shot. Ignores only 5% of defenses due to character strength. I don't think it matters, but I'll roll crit chance for giggles.
Crit if 4, 8
Random number (1,10) :

If the man doesn't die from that alone then she'll throw three soulbound attacks at him as explained in the post. 13 dex each. Will only occur if shooting him doesn't kill him/trigger some kind of interruption or otherwise immediately attention-grabbing event.
First Hit Crits on 8

Second Hit Crits on 8

Gisèle would proceed to move on once Heather was ready to, although not before reaching over and tearing out a chunk of flesh from the man's corpse with her bare hand. Thanks to the augmented strength of her Demon Form and the tenderness of the squishy remains, it surely wouldn't provide an issue for her, but if it did then she could just as easily summon her soulbound for a second to hack a piece off.

"Now that you mention it I kinda wasted an arrow back there too... but eh, it's not a big deal. Stabbing things is better than shooting them anyway. It's more personal that way."

Gisèle would cease talking as they drew closer to the upcoming door. A sense of deja vu began to creep over, but she'd shrug it off swiftly and burst through the door, summonining her soulbound weapon and surveying the area.

The door to the room swung open with a crash, crumbling as Gisele put her weight into it. The room itself would seem relatively clean in comparison to the area they had been exploring. The stillness and rot the filled the air within the remainder of the twisting alley didn't seem present. Instead, the small of cooked food and excrement seemed to dominate.
A quick glance around the clearing showed that, in some way, it had been lived in for quite some time. A makeshift hovel had been carved out of the walls where a home, or at the very least what could pass as one, was built.
However, the resident would not immediately be visible, instead, a subtle rocking of a bundle of sheets and boxes in the far corner of the room would be the only sign of life... along with a soft murmur...
"-ade me do it made me do it made me do it made me do it made me do it-"
