''That's good enough for me.'' He couldn't command her to just stop afterall. He could imagine how she was feeling. He was just more resistant to the outwardly embarrassing moments. You had to poke just right to get a more intense reaction out of him, and those obvious fluster moments usually weren't sufficient enough. He'd admit that it's awkward, but he wasn't going to lose his face over it...for now. There was still a chance that she would actually pull something that would prove to have a visible effect on him. When she went off to change, he would turn towards the bed, as if inspecting it with his gaze. He was moreso thinking to himself though. Like the fact that she reminded him how he'd have to stick it out wearing what he was currently in. She probably wouldn't handle it, were he to try stripping anything, really. Not when they were going to share a bed. Thus he was stuck, for only his own clothes would fit him. He just hoped that the buttons on his shirt wouldn't come to bother him...

When she finally came back out, he would glance towards her with a nod. ''Well then, how do we do this...?'', he'd ask, in a somewhat humorous tone. He seemed to be trying to take this lightly, so that she wouldn't have to feel too nervous all the time. Atmosphere did a lot, right? Not that he could really do much else.

His tone of voice actually served to calm Mae down somewhat. She'd smile back at him, genuinely. "Well... It's no use beating around the bush, now is there?" Mae said in a more calm voice now that things had finally settled within her somewhat. She turned on her reading lamp above her bed before flicking of the rest of the lights. After that was all done, she crawled underneath the blanket on the left side of the bed, right next to the wall, looking at Sharaku. "W-Well... Are you joining me or what?" She asked him in a slightly amused tone, making room for him. Perhaps this wasn't such a bad idea after all...

He would just smirk lightly, not offering a verbal answer to the comment. Perhaps there wasn't. Not when they were getting to it anyway. As much as beating around the bush could be fun at times. But not now. Otherwise they wouldn't sleep at all, the whole point of this being moot. For the first few moments, he would just watch her, offering a half bow at her words. ''Your wish is my command.'' It would appear he was having fun with this either way. That in mind, he would move over to settle down on the right side, looking upwards at the ceiling for a while. ''Hm...''

Mae giggled at his next set of words. Surely odd, but appreciated nontheless. It eased her worries... things wouldn't turn out disasterous, right? Once he actually settled down next to her, she sat there momentarily stunned. This was... actually rather nice... She would give Sharaku one last nervous glance before she spoke up. "Thanks for everything today, Sharaku..." With one last smile, Mae shut off the lights completely, leaving the room in total darkness. "Good night... sleep well." Was her last words before she fell asleep, the woman would actually snuggle up towards Sharaku in her sleep, with a content smile on her face as she felt her consciousness slowly drifting away...

''I didn't really do all that much...'', he would mumble slightly. Technically, she had done more than him in the end. Letting him stay here, as well as the bout that happened out there over at Penecia. The only thing he really did was accompany her home. ''Mm, night...'' That's all there was left to do, right? Though, it would take him a bit to actually fall asleep. There was a lot on his mind still, despite the fact that he was tired. Sometimes one's brain can be so contradictory. He wasn't really awake by the time she turned to snuggling with him, but that didn't really matter. As a matter of fact, she was only setting herself up anyway. This was not something anyone would know, but he could be quite the cuddlebug when he was asleep. His own pillow and sheets could attest to that, really. If they could speak, that is. Aka, she would probably have to first wake him up in the morning to even get out of his hug, because he might not let go that easily otherwise...
