| Subject: Two years...where it all began and ended. Sun Jan 31, 2016 5:11 pm | |
| Click, click, click, click, clack...click...click click. Alphonse sat in a cafe across from the Radio Tower, the place where all the events began two years ago. It was the place where it all ended, and the group that had learned of it all was nearly assembled again at the very end. The android's fingers paused, before shifting to a word document, where he had recorded the passing of events. The other worlds...what they were like...and he knew that they were all connected to this place...in some way. If the portals and his conversation with the mother of humanity were proof of anything. That always bothered the android to some degree...why was this world the catalyst or the lynchpin that connected all those other worlds. It was something that he speculated on over the past two years, and the word document held theories as to why, but he could never be quite satisfied with how things turned out. Regardless, things moved on and Azores had its peace, it was what the group was able to secure and if there was an opportunity, then perhaps the errors made could be corrected. However, that would likely mean another crisis was taking place, and the group would have to be proactive. Of course, now...the android had power. He looked down at his hand and clenched it into a fist as memories of Iroas and Odeyssus returned to his mind. However, this power was not enough to prevent the loss of Hyde..and countless others. It was funny how reflection could always reveal the sweet and bittersweet victories of the past. The android often wondered if they would be so lucky to get a warning a second time, and if they were...who would it be from..friend...or foe? Then again, is there a point worrying about any of this? If the Mother was right...then there was no reason, Azores was safe and secure from harm. They were going to be fine...however Sentinel always preferred the cautious approach. Some might call it paranoia, but it wasn't obsessive...he was far too busy taking care of Maria to really spend much time with the subject. The android glanced outside the window, watching the cars and people pass by...life rolls on. Regardless of those lost to the events of the past. Sentinel's phone rang, and he withdrew it from his pocket, "Hello? Ah! Richard, Yes...you're website is just about finished. In fact if you search for it right about...." He pressed the submit key on his computer, and watched the bar fill rapidly and within moments a new website was published to the internet. "Now, and you ought to be able to find it. Hmm...you love it? Good to know, let me know if there are any glitches or anything you need fixed as soon as possible. We'll let it sit for a few days, and see if anything turns up. Once everything is worked out, I'll stop by to collect my payment." The android said before saying good bye and hanging up. His red eyes glanced back out toward the radio tower, before turning back toward his screen and working on his next contract. | |
