Figures. Rita’s answer wasn’t surprising at all. Sharaku doubted she’d have gotten such information from anyone else but the Angel in the tower in the first place. She pretty much only confirmed his suspicions right now. On the other hand, it seemed she knew more then just a little, whatever it was. Well, as long as she was sure she knew what were they dealing with. She did appear to be confident right now. Hopefully, that would stay once they ran into something relevant. She should, as long as she was really up to date with this. ‘’Hm. Figures. I thought you got your info from her. Well, let’s just hope it actually helps us here.’’ He couldn’t try to retort or anything, seeing as he didn’t know what exactly did she talk about with the Divine.

He would roll his eyes faintly. ‘’I’d say you would be cold, as long as you’re not using said fire. I doubt you’re lighting up all the time. Unless your fire is awesome enough to be invisible.’’, he’d throw back to her smug comment about fire. Oh yes, she controlled it, but a fire won’t warm you unless you actually have it out. And that she did not right now. Secondly, he couldn’t see her doing that in the real world either, even if she technically could. People would stare.

‘’Ah no. We’d just waste more time waiting. I don’t mind this, I was just wondering whether going in a pair was a part of your strategy.’’ He did not really want her to go grabbing more people now. He had just been curious as to why she decided this way in the first place. He could handle it as it was, unless they ran into something dangerous. Of course, in that case, perhaps even a bigger group would be no help. That better not happen.

That all aside, the fight ahead…went..well, it wasn’t the worst, but this bunch of Shadows sure proved to be an annoyance. Rita seemed to have taken quite the beating through this one. ‘’That could have gone better.’’, he’d mutter under his breath, before focusing on the more important matter. The fact that the path didn’t seem as reliable as the last time. He would frown, looking ahead in thought. ‘’I don’t know about you, but it doesn’t appear that this route is as effective as it was last time. Besides, if I recall the way we went before, this path leads around. I think we’d just end up coming right back round if we continue.’’, he would turn around, looking backwards. ‘’I think we should try going the other way. Unless you have a better idea, that is.’’, he’d suggest, giving her a questioning glance. Well, he couldn’t be completely sure, but last time they went to the left after going up…and the path lead back downwards again, even though they didn’t take it. They could just go down right from here, and not waste time, seeing as they weren’t getting a hefty response. Either way, he was not interested in walking a direction that might get them to walk in circles with little to no profit.

Well… who else could she even get information from? Angela was the only one who’d be able to answer any questions right now, so was there even any doubt that she was the source? “Well… yeah. Who else would I ask? Haha.” With a muttered laugh, Rita continued on talking, though… fire wasn’t such a thing to be trifled with. “I could say a cheesy line about the fire in my heart… but that would be dumb. You’re right that I don’t have it out all the time, but I seem to have… a bit of an easier time keeping myself warm in the cold. All strength of mind, really.” Half-smirking, Rita closed her eyes with a snicker. Nero was a governor of fire, in a way, or at least she always looked the part… it wasn’t so odd for Rita to have more of an affinity for the heat with such a Persona, right? Well, no matter, she was just… well, not as cold as she could be… she wouldn’t be shivering, at least, however much she wanted to. After all, you have to keep up appearances.

“Alright, that’ll work. I’m sure we’ll be able to keep up with anything… besides, I still don’t think Sraosha would attack us. Angela said that she went through that trouble before to signal us, I’m sure that she wants us to find her… or something. Whatever, I don’t think we’ll have to fight an Angel just yet, not today, at least.” With that said, Rita actually started to notice the real toll that the battle took on her, though she summoned Nero right away after it was over, the blonde Persona approaching Rita and pressing her hands against her shoulder while her hands shone moderately brightly, healing any fatigue that Rita might have leftover from the battle. After that was done, Rita would summon her sword again, its new shiny white color blending in… sort of, with the environment around them.

“Yes, it could have gone much better… oh well, at least we got out of it alright.” With a shrug and a confident huff, Rita twirled her mouth into a sly smirk, listening to Sharaku’s reasoning. “Maybe so. It doesn’t seem like Sraosha wants to signal us just yet… yeah, I think going further on won’t help, let’s go back and the other way.” No better ideas in her mind, Rita followed Sharaku into the entrance again, though, of course, not exiting. She’d be alert to anything that may happen around them and keep Nero summoned just in case, the blonde emperor keeping a cautious eye while her sword had vanished. She wasn’t needing it now so might as well keep going with no extra weight. Rita, though, would just carry it on her shoulder nonchalantly, a very bored look on her face.

Strength of mind, eh? She sure had some interesting ways to back up her claims. Though, whether that could actually influence much, Sharaku wasn’t sure. Willpower was good to have, but he wouldn’t say it helped one keep warm. ‘’You must have a rather heated mind then. Remind me not to trifle with it in the future.’’, he’d chuckle lightly. While her reasons did not make logical sense, she was funny in her own way, that he’d admit. Unlike Hyde who was just simply illogical most of the time. Well, what can you do. There isn’t a way to choose the personality of the person you’re hanging out with. That would make things too easy.

‘’Well, I hope so. I can’t say I’m in the mood for fighting deities right now. Shadows are enough of an annoyance.’’ He did hope she was right. Because, fighting an Angel would undoubtedly be quite a hassle, and who knows how many Shadows will they have to face before even reaching their target. It wouldn’t be an easy task to accomplish, and defaulting to just a talk sounded much better.

Yes…at least. It would not be good if these things managed to defeat them this simply. ‘’Well, they sure seemed to like biting into you.’’, he would comment offhandedly, before nodding at her agreement to turn around. ‘’Speaking of this, do you have any idea where she might be? Seeing as our original route did not seem to work. It wouldn’t be beneficial if we had to walk all over this place. I don’t even know how big it is in total.’’, he’d ask, watching her out of the corner of his eyes.

Heated? Well… maybe. Not exactly, but it was close enough. “Eeeh, I guess? Kinda sorta maybe? I really don’t know, I just don’t focus on the cold and it doesn’t affect me. It’s part willpower, part focus, but it’s just a little quirky thing about your brain. Try and imagine that you’re, like, sitting in front of a fireplace wrapped by your favorite warm blanket fresh out of the drier and still hot from it… then your brain gets fooled into thinking you’re warm and voila, no more cold! Errr, at least that’s how it happens with me. It may not work with everyone and it’s… silly. Hehe.” Laughing very awkwardly for her person, Rita rubbed the back of her head, smiling in a silly way. What she said… was just a bit childish. She remembered a cartoon way back when that actually made use of that concept… except reversed. It was a hot day and a group of students were really feeling the heat, so the smart kid came up with that idea… ah, good times.

“You can say that again… especially when they’re able to make you trip and fall and stuff, that’s just horrible. At least we can do the same to them, right?” With a shrug, Rita felt a shiver run up her spine as they exited the block again… whenever that was, though it was likely due to the cold. Whatever, she just held her sword out again and made it ignite, the red flames that it made covering its silvery glow and shrinking the weapon… kinda, into a small ember floating on her hand, which she’d hold with an open palm, kind of like balancing an umbrella or something similar, though it would float far enough above it where it would burn her.

“Okay… I take back what I said, this is cold.” After shaking a slight bit, she’d frown at Sharaku’s comment. “Well, I do look kinda… hotter, today, I’d have to say. I guess the Shadows were just attracted to the heat like flies are to light. When they’re in such a cold place, a little bit of warmth will always draw them in, no?” With a smirk, Rita continued on after a slight snicker. “I dunno, but I think we can count on our hearing to check for her… I hope. It should be simple enough to find her. You know that place where we entered? If we find somewhere like that again, it may be worth it to go in and check it out.” Now that she thought about it, the places where Shadows were seemed to be more like corridors, while every entrance was more of an open dome… was that intentional? Did it have something to do with the nature of the dungeons itself? Well, maybe she’d get some answers later on…
