Episode 00: The Prologue of Torment

Analee let out a small laugh as she continued to drink her tea, “I’ve never made food a day in my life. The servants have always done that for me.” She set her cup down, “I must wonder if any of that matters now. After all, all of this beautiful food appears in front of us like magic.” She glanced around at the table, taking note of everything everybody had visible. She figured that something important would stand out on each person, but most of them were dressed poorly. She couldn’t tell what common people considered special, “I suppose that I could not service a single day if I did not hire others to take care of that for me. The only time I did try and cook, the person who ate it became violently ill.” This information was free. She didn’t need it anyway. She set her tea down and gave a small smile to the men, “I believe we should wrap up this feast before our lovely host becomes angry with us for being slow. Would you all not agree?” She would get up from her seat, “It is best not to keep dawdling. There is so much to do and a nice present waiting for each of us.” And she would leave the table in favor of what was next.
