Episode 01: How to Troll or Tormented Avenues?

So much for getting to know one another. Now Kitty decided it’d be fun to just take three of them and put them in the next segment of his “Game”. Maybe the other two were not so lucky. Oh well, he had to think of a way to get out of here. Now that they were in the middle near one another in a seemingly open street with people walking around them similar to before, with no obstructions or anything immediately, so the winner would be the smartest and quickest between the three. Putting the visor down over his head, he would give a thumbs up to the group in some attempt to make at least a show of sportsmanship. Immediately following, his Persona, a grey alien-like being would appear and their eyes would glow, sending weird lights at the enemies, attempting to annoy them and inflict them with rage. His biggest worry was the woman, as she was more evil than she looked, and that was already evil. During the ailment whether it worked or not, Dusty would back away from the group to a total of ten meters from them in the middle, to the corner of the scramble, giving him not only enough distance to evade possible attacks, but enough to look at the two in case they tried anything.

Well, this was the final moment it seemed. Everyone was gathered and they were given the order to kill. Well, that was a bit of a hassle. In all honesty, she had been hoping to get a little more information on this situation and these people. If she had the time, she could have made this event fairly simple. Instead, she was now burdened with actually fighting. She really wished she could have avoided this situation, but it seemed that would not be so. She had a moment of absolute annoyance at this situation. What was she supposed to do? Fight? She was a lady, not a monster. Or, that’s what she would have thought, if not for the fact that the shut-in decided to attack her. Thankfully for her, she was not impressed by his little display, but that was enough to tell her that this was actually the time to fight.

She was a little lost. To kill the shut-in or to let it be done for her. She could go for either, but her two companions were completely unpredictable. More than anything, she needed to summon her own Persona. Dolos would appear next to her, towering like a great beast. The giant puppet would lift its arm into the air and call forth arrows from the sky. Like a barrage of the Roman armies of the past, the arrows would be bunched together, forming a circle as they came down. At the centers of the flurry would be each of the men. Analee wasn’t too picky with her men. For this one time, both of them had to go.

So much for getting to know one another. Their gracious host decided now that it would be a free for all to determine the winner, though Robert thought that the result would be obvious. It was clear that the star would be the only one left to claim the stage at the end of all this. Such a shame too, he was looking forward to getting to know the pretty woman. He was about to step forward and begin his stunning and heart-wrenching introduction to the audience and get cries of approval and encouragement from them when suddenly, "four-eyes" decided to summon this weird grey alien thing and shine some bright lights at them. The lights did nothing, but interrupt his GRAND ENTRANCE! You would have thought four-eyes would have learned by now not to interrupt or mistake this star's name. Well it was too late now! He just stepped on on a non-negotiable, big-ass fucking landmine. He would rue this day!

Robert was about to begin his quest for revenge when Brook unleashed a hail of arrows at him. However, using his above average speed and the magical enchantment he to further boost it, he would sprint out of its way before it struck the ground. There was a lot of open ground meaning it would be easy to dodge, perhaps he ought to throw some wrenches into their plans for dodging. Oh well he would intitate that in a moment. He quickly summoned his Persona, Revenant, a hooded creature with two grim and poisoned blades. A tattered cloak covered its entire form hiding it from view, but it would out stretch its arms and stomped both of its feet. A large barrage of human sized icicles would appear beside the Revenant before they launched themselves at Brook and "Four-eyes" They would strike at a downward angle much like an arrow with the intent of impaling them to the ground. If this attack struck they would find that part of their body freezing and they could be quite possibly pinned to the ground. There was enough space to squeeze between two of them, if you felt like taking a risk, but even if they missed they would remain planted in the ground. A testament to the power that Robert wielded as the ground where they struck cracked.

Dusty saw very clearly his fine-dressed opponent summon her Persona and point to the sky. Dusty figured that she probably was going to summon something from the sky. Sure enough, it would take a simple glance to see the arrows falling down. Seeing as how the arrows were bunched together, they were still a bit sizeable, however, Dusty had other things to worry about, that of the Loudmouth. In the meantime, Grey would shoot from his eyes a beam of red light that would rocket to the sky and burst in a crimson explosion, destroying both blasts of arrows and keeping them from striking with Grey’s first Akasha attack. However, immediately following, he saw Loudmouth prepare to summon crystals of ice at him specifically, instead of his Persona. He could clearly see the group of icicles coming his way in different times, however, it only took a few flips and twirls to the side to avoid the icicles as they hit the ground around him, making a sort of slanted field of ice. During the icicle barrage however, Grey would take the initiative while the man did not move and fire its next Akasha Strike to Kahn, Sending a ball of red light to the ground right next to him as he seemed to not move far from the center, merely far enough to avoid Prissy’s attack. The crimson ball would then explode in his face, with the radius that had the length of fifteen feet, which was more than enough to hit Prissy as well, including their Personas which they had decided to leave out. During said attack, Dusty would move behind the icicles and gain a bit more distance, going down a road leaving him around 12 meters (About 40 feet from the center) from the center and go behind one of the various icicles and take shelter, which positioned him at a corner from the center, but given his ability to be quiet and stealthy, he had most likely lost their site when moving back behind the icicles in the first place. He was for all intents and purposes, hidden from the other two, and far enough from the icicles in case Loudmouth wanted to try something funny. His Persona after the attack, would vanish and return to Dusty’s subconscious for the time being.

So, all bets were off. Robert was not dumb enough to fall for Analee’s little attack and he dodged her without much effort. So, he was another person with speed on his side. Thankfully, she wasn’t slow enough to not see the ice arrows coming straight for her. They were planned so carefully, at a fixed angle with no wiggle room. Even if they had a fairly impressive size, they were still easy enough to avoid. All she had to do was step a little ways back so that the ice landed in front of her. That attack was easy enough to avoid. Fighting really was not her strength. Moreover, they both seemed to avoid her flurry of arrows. This was going to be a pain in her side, yet. She was actually impressed that the shut-in hadn’t attacked her. What she didn’t expect was an explosion to the face. That actually hurt a lot. If only she were faster.

Honestly, she was starting to think these heels were a pain. She kicked them off with a slight sigh of frustration. Those had not been cheap. However, she was in need of a bit of speed. Just a little. She was calm and collected as she moved away from the both of them. Distance was her friend in this situation. She purposely turned to make sure Robert, at least, couldn’t see the front of her body. As she was walking away, she called forth four-inch long needles to her hands. They were long and thin, not something one could see easily unless their eyes were very, very, very good. As she moved away, she threw three of them over her shoulder at Robert, hoping to get him straight in the neck. If he had moved in that amount of time, she would just follow him. After all, she would not be that far away yet. She was close enough that they could reach him in no time, enough to breath one breath, if he was lucky. The benefit of having a throwing needle that was made for speed, she guessed. Of course humans were weak in the neck, so she could only picture how much it would hurt. As she walked, Dolos followed next to her, sticking close, but not so close as to block her attack. Robert wasn’t going to have an easy time with this one. If by some miracle he did avoid her attack, she would stand; ready to evade his return shot. Both his and the shut-in’s.

Robert soon found his natural confidence would come back to hurt him...badly. He saw a red light land next to him he gripped his pendant and turned away from the explosion. He made sure his grip was tight so his hand would be damaged instead of his evoker. The light exploded harming him, and his Persona. Pain shot through his nerves, this was a lot more realistic than what Hollywood was. He would make sure that he would not make that mistake again, and he would have a chance to redeem himself too. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the woman turn away from him and then saw her hand rising before tossing something at him. He didn't see what it was, but it was something. Rather than take another hit, he would use his supernaturally enchanted reflexes to dive to the ground to avoid the needles, and then roll to keep moving. However, to cover himself from further attacks he ordered his Persona to counterattack. The Revenant glared at the woman, now she would die.

A hail of ice shards would appear and launch themselves over the icicles at Brook and Dolos. Since these were smaller they would close the distance much faster than Robert's previous attack. They covered an area about twenty feet wide, and fifteen feet long. There would be no wiggle room between these shards. She would have to be moving quickly in order to get out, but her Persona, which was right next to her, may not be so lucky. Sadly it was a giant target, that was quite exposed. Not to mention the fact that it gave away her position as well. The revenant would vanish after the storm of shards was launched, back to his subconscious. By the time the shards were flying Robert was back on his feet, and backing away quickly. He would fall back to an alley ,and disappear into it so he had cover and a moment of peace to lick his wounds. How damn embarrassing for him as the main star, but he had bigger concerns.

During Prissy and Loudmouth’s scuffle, Dusty would be merely watching from the corner of the clearing behind the icicles, moving behind one near the alleyway to his right, where Loudmouth was looking to Dusty’s left at Prissy, who threw needles expecting to hit him without even aiming properly. What a scary lady. In truth, the fact that he almost brought death to them bothered him. He had no choice, but he was gripping his crowbar in frustration as the woman now seemed to have more ice needles to deal with. What was this God wanting? He almost started to tear up. This whole time, he thought it was a dream. It had to have been, but no. He truly attacked the girl, and almost killed these two. What was he going to do if he won? What if he lost? He saw the man flee to Dusty’s right in some sort of attempt to hide, which brought his mind back to reality. He would shift from the corner of the street to the building on the other side of the street that Loudmouth fled down. Up ahead a few yards was an alleyway, that he would shift slowly and quietly to, turning his head only enough to look down the alley with one eye. It was good he was a quiet man and a stealthy one or that act would have surely got him caught. He actually was lucky enough to see Loudmouth there, taking cover. You’d think he’d at least search for an alley with a dead end, not this leaves him open for a blind shot.

Grey would instantly appear behind Dusty with a thought and poke his head down the alleyway to get a view of Loudmouth. Even if he noticed it, it would be too late, as Grey would shoot two crimson orbs the size of basketballs down the alleyway. One would be aimed right for his feet at around 25 mph to burst with a radius of fifteen feet as before, at the height of the buildings themselves, around 50 feet, which were well above him, more than likely covering the majority of the alleyway and portions of the building if he decided to pursue that method of escape. The buildings would be fine though, as the three were obviously in another world and could not affect such things. The second blast however, would come immediately after the first, and would aim past the man at the same speed and hit the ground near the end of the alleyway, which would burst in the same radius. The alleyway was around the same length of the clearing they started in, so the second blast could easily hit that distance. That blast would obviously be noticeable to Prissy if she decided to look in that direction, as half the blast was in the street. Though, the blast was meant to keep Loudmouth from escaping, and trap him between two explosions of death. Some pretty fancy tricks would be needed, but even Dusty was sure he had finished him off. After the attack, he would simple shift down to the middle of the building, nearing the corner of the street where he was once hidden, but now hidden from the both if by some miracle the man evaded. During this movement, he was shaking. He did not know what he had just done. He hit his head in frustration trying to make sense of it. What was he doing? He was attacking these people. This had to stop. If he had to do this, then hopefully it can end soon. ‘Please….just stop…’ he thought. Even his Persona stayed with him just in case, as if it knew very well how he felt.

Analee had already put distance between herself and Robert. She was grateful for that. She was even more grateful she had taken off her heels. That gave her enough speed to get out of the way. Actually, given how small the area the ice took up was, she suspected even a normal person could avoid the ice. Dolos, on the other hand, was going to get hit either way. She used the knowledge and ordered the Persona to give her cover for any strays while she moved out of the way. She could feel how weak Dolos was starting to get. Any more damage, and the puppet wouldn’t be able to fight anymore. Analee couldn’t understand why her Persona was so weak. She was more annoyed than anything. She would call Dolos back inside of her after getting a bit of a pick-me-up. She was starting to feel rather weary from all the fighting. This was why she had bodyguards and people to do her dirty work for her.

They weren’t here to help her though. For now, she seemed to be the only one still playing out in the open. She felt so exposed in this place, but she saw a large explosion come from the alleyway. It was obviously the same skill the shut-in had used before. So, he was in there with Robert. She had to commend him for taking that opportunity. As for her, she was too far away to get involved in another fight with them. She would take this chance to calm herself and wait for the winner to come face her. She was ready for a quick escape if she needed it. In fact, she was bracing herself for another attack as those two worked out which one of them she would end up playing with in the end. Sometimes, it was fun to let the men do the fighing.

Robert managed to make into the alley, good now he had a moment to recuperate himself, and heal. Or so he thought when suddenly he found an orb at his feet...a very familiar orb. One that had inflicted him much pain in a very recent past. He let out a loud "CRAP!" He turned but another one whirled past him at such a quick rate...he was trapped in the middle of the alley. There was no escape, the first one exploded so quickly, and it knocked him on his face. His vision began to fade, as he let out a pained scream. His nerves exploded with agony as his brain was wracked with one response. Pain.

As he hit the ground he glanced up to see the other orb grow brightly, he grasped the pendant around his neck, a memory of his mother floated to the surface of his fading mind. His mind, his skills, everything had failed him....he remembered how Jinx died and he thought it was just business. Amazing how getting ready to die drastically changed your perspective. "B-but....I'm...the star...." He would say as his vision was covered in a bright light, and everything went black for the last time.

The star became a falling star, never to rise and shine in the night's sky as a beacon of hope for all children. Heroes in the movies would no longer have an astounding villain to stand against. All of his fans would never get his autograph, the girl he was dating would never hear his silver tongue, nor would he get a chance to have a family of his own. Perhaps this was karma for all the cruel things he had done in his life, but he would never know. As some punk with binoculars had ended his life prematurely. The rising star had come to an end.

As the explosions sounded, and nothing came afterwards, Dusty clutched his head from both sides and looked into the alleyway to see the man, on the ground, not moving an inch. Dusty was starting to almost throw a fit from what he had just done. He summoned his crowbar weapon, and swung the air a few times before kneeling back to the wall. This was seriously happening. He had no choice anymore but to just continue to go on. But one thing’s for sure, this Kitty was going to answer for all of this. He took a deep breath and noticed to his right at the corner leading into the clearing. He moved near it, without moving any part of his body out, as the icicles had now disappeared, seemingly unsupported by the man’s powers. He stayed there under cover, and looked to his Persona to give him a helping hand, who would point to Dusty and remove any injuries he had sustained from his attacks. The attacks seemed to be slowly using it. They were certainly powerful though, and was a fair enough trade. He would have to make a call, at least say near here. He would turn and move only his head out from hiding by the corner to see Prissy still near the center of the clearing. He was surprised she did not simply try to finish one of them. Did she expect that to be done for her? What kind of a life did she have before this?

Analee was surprised by the sudden amount of quiet coming from the alleyway. Had one of them one already? Actually, she shouldn’t have been that surprised. Robert was standing on his last leg when he entered that place, and those explosions were a pain, as she knew first hand. If that was the case, she knew who the last man standing was. For a shut-in, he was doing rather well. She had to admit, if she didn’t hate him for being the last thing standing in her way, she would admire him. In fact, if she weren’t sure he’d be dead after this, she would offer him a job right now. She could always use someone with the will to kill on her team. Those kinds of people often came in handy, especially when certain information was hard to get. But those were different scenarios. In this one, she couldn’t show him any kindness.
 
She took off in a sprint toward him. She knew he was still most likely in that alleyway. He hadn’t show much athletic ability yet, after all. The chance he had already run away was very low. She summoned Dolos to use one more round of those arrows from above. Just like before, they would come down from the sky, covering the alleyway. She had a plan. Things she had seen happening. Dolos stood back from her. She didn’t need her just yet. The space between them was enough to make sure a certain explosion didn’t have the range to hit both of them. This entire time, Analee had been watching. She could guess what was going to happen next. She just had to get to him in time. Given her speed, that wouldn’t be too long. She knew she was the faster of the two.

Watching the woman run down the pathway that Robert went down, he would follow down the side of the building to the halfway point between the corner and entrance to the alleyway. He had no way of knowing where she was specifically until he turned to hear and see the projectiles again came from the sky. But even that did not give him much location to go on. If he attacked her, she could easily avoid it and run down the alley or go around the other side. He had no way to directly stop her now. It was also worth noting Dusty was panicking. He did not want to face her just yet. He needed time to calm down. But by the time it took for him to calm, she would no doubt try to attack him herself. He had to stall her somehow. With that in mind, he would poke his head out with Grey’s, who’s eyes would flash for a brief moment attempting to enrage Prissy. Whether it worked or not, the two would pull back their heads and make their way around the corner of the building to the side facing the clearing, and then run out about five meters from the middle, as this was taking time, and he was not the fastest there was. He would keep his eyes on both sides of the alleyway, as well as above him to see where Prissy would fire from.
