| It wasn't often that Rianara found herself outside of the Slums, but when she did, the Forest Bio Dome was like a second home to her. It reminded the android of the forests she had grown so accustomed to seeing on her homeworld of Athara, back when she had fled the big city. What little of the muck, moss and dirt from Athara that used to cover her plating had been replaced with a thin layer of soot and grime from the slums.
The bio dome was really the only place on the entire world of junction where she could truly be alone, and today she certainly needed it. While Rianara certainly wasn't one to reminisce about her time in the big city, she did like to remember the many years she had spent in the Atharan wilderness. The things she had seen... While the planet was for the most part a desert around the equator, the two magnetic poles housed a rather lush foresty climate...
Atharas wildlife was quite special, for it was not only beings of flesh and blood that roamed the woods... much of the Atharan plantlife had developed both sentience and ways to move. Sure, they were still very much like animals, and not like the humans or dwarves of the city, but they were certainly intelligent. It was among this wildlife that Rianara had spent a long 38 years with... She had come to understand how the ecosystem worked on a much deeper level than she had previously, and also realized how alien she truly was. Both in the actual cityscape and out in the woods. How things had changed since. In just a matter of a year and a few months, Rianara was back amongst the intelligent... amongst people who could build, destroy and alter the land, and sculpt new life. The android wasn't sure what she prefered. A world where she existed outside the cycle, with no use or reason for being, or a world where she was part of the system, a cog in the machine, with purpose, and someone to guide her every move... Both had their pros and cons... And this was a choice she would continue to struggle with for quite a while still...
Rianara sat perched on a rather sizable rock by a river, the thick branches of a large tree coating the android in its cool shade, leaving her eyes glowing a menacing cyan as she absorbed herself in old memories of the forests she used to dwell in... She hadn't moved an inch since perching herself up there a couple of hours ago. Surely an odd sight... a machine, deep out in the woods, perched up on a large marble rock by itself... A few birds had even joined her. She was so still one could easily mistake her for some kind of forgotten monument.

| Sunlight, trees, wind, and the sounds of the forest. How long had it been since such a scene had been presented to the creature? The creature could not remember as it walked through the serene landscape alone and yet not alone all at once. After all, the forest was alive and somewhere in it, its child was at play. This place. It was a nice change up from the underground passageways and dimmly lit rooms, the creature had grown accustomed to over time and an interesting contrast to the night which this creature typically resided.
So long it had been that the creature found itself instantly stunned by the beauty and brightness all around as it drifted in a trance like state through the trees and grass covered paths. Taking a moment to take it all in, the ink demon would drift to a tree and rest a thin hand upon it. The feel of the bark comforting and strange all at once for he being. Looking to the skies the being would take in the treetops and the way the sunlight danced through those green leaves a the wind made them dance.
In the distance, the being could hear the sounds of a river, but for now did not bother going near it as it stayed instead entranced by the dancing leaves.
Meanwhile, further into the forest and by the river, the strange creature child known as Malachi moved about with glee. Playing with the leaves before going to the river’s edge. Wagging its long tail from side to side, large white eyes would watch the water rush by over the rocks below. There were plants in the water and things that wiggled about and shined in the light. Oooh! Was that treasure? Well there was only one way to find out, wasn’t there?
Crouching down and wiggling a bit, the creature would leap from its spot with the intent to pounce on the shiny in the water. It would come down with a splash as its clawed hands grabbed something wiggly. Clamping down with both hands, the creature would pull the wiggly thing out of the water.
Oooh! The shiny! The shiny!! It was a fish. It had caught a shiny fish! Giggling with joy, Malachi would enjoy looking at the fish before tossing it in the air and with another leap and splash devoured it. So yummy and crunchy! Malachi loved it; however, just as it was getting down the tail of the fish, its eyes drifted around the area and spotted very close something that looked like an odd statue sitting on a rock.
“Huh?” the little creature would say to itself as it became still to observe this thing. Around the same time, Devi would appear on the shore opposite to the thing and after looking at its child and seeing it was safe, red eyes would lock on the thing on the rock, his own tail would sway as he watched the thing curiously. That wasn’t a statute….was it?

| It was going to be one of those days, huh? It seemed that no matter where the android went, she could never be truly left alone. Fortunately for her, the newcomers seemed to ignore her for the most part, even if only momentarily. She remained silent, cautiously observing her uninvited company. Was she bitter? Not really. It wasn't like these two had followed her here on purpose. Their crossing had happened merely due to chance, and nothing more.
The younger of the two seemed to enjoy the activity of fishing, with its bare hands no less. Regardless of how you went about it, fishing was something that demanded great patience and a good sense of timing. Knowing how to catch a fish and actually doing it was two entirely different things, even if the two were linked. Rianara herself had never really taken a great interest in the sport. As an android who didn't require food, there was simply no need, no incentive for her to learn. She had no use for it. But for organic lifeforms, food was essential.
It was rather amusing to see the little one celebrate its recent catch, reveling in victory before finally consuming the fish without hesitation. And thats when the two locked eyes. Rianara's cyan lenses honed in on the little one, analyzing its features. Tailed, obviously carnivorous in nature, and relatively young. The species was unfamiliar to her, which was getting increasingly more uncommon with each passing day. Some species looked very similiar, despite coming from different worlds alltogether, but it would also seem that each variant had its own distinguishing features. Humans from Athara for instance were short and slender, with amber-colored skin, thin lips and sharp ears, and more often than not, their eye-whites had this odd shade of blue, most likely a side-effect from Aether Exposure.
As the little one got closer and actually said something, Rianaras eyes closed, shaking her head. "That's close enough." She said in a somewhat amused, yet warning tone.
