Fire and Steel (Akuma/Isabella)

The location of the tea house had been rather convenient when that sudden downpour of rain had started, giving the blonde a nice place to escape the veritable blitzkrieg of water that would have thoroughly soaked her otherwise.

So now, even as the sudden rainfall had long since seized, the older woman kneeling in front of a table, a laptop on the table to her right, and a mostly empty cup of tea in front of her. She was wearing a light brown trenchcoat, though with the left sleeve hanging loose by her side, empty. Closer inspection would reveal her left arm tucked in a sling under the partially opened front of the coat, the entire left forearm wrapped in gauze bandages.

Her gaze seemed focused on the screen of the laptop, face showing what seemed to be mild irritation as her right hand tapped at the keypad somewhat awkwardly.

He was not a big fan of tea, but they did make a mean ramen and eggrolls. He did enjoy this place, made him feel more at home than the dump he was boarding in. For now he was enjoying a small meal to take his mind off things. From school, his job, and the demon hunting at night. He took the last night off but now had more questions in mind.

His eyes wandered to a young woman close to his age. Curious he glanced at her a few times, finding her paticularly attractive. Not in a lewd way, as he would at times entertain, but in a sweet way. Though the trenchcoat didn't do her justice. He wated his time, trying to decide when was an approrpiate time to go over and strike up a conversation with her.

Her slow, one-handed typing would resume for some time, the mask of irritation upon her face seeming to wax and wane every now and then. After a bit her hand shifted over to the track pad, her finger sliding across it some, a few clicks. The blonde then raised her hand, over to the power button on the side of the machine, the screen going black from a single tap.

That done, Isabella motioned one of the servers over. "Could I have another cup of tea, and some daifuku, please?" The older woman spoke, the younger woman serving her nodding, before asking if she needed anything else. "Just have them brought to my table, please." The server nodded again, before stepping away, presumably to fetch her order.

With that, Isabela stood up, paying fairly little attention to the few other patrons of the tea house, as she walked toward the rest rooms.
