Appearance:
Akuma is a fairly tall young man, standing at 5'8 (178cm). He's quite slender, with the weight of 141 pounds (64kg). He's got greyish-blue eyes and shortish richly blue hair, which is a little messy at the back. Originally, his hair was blonde, but he greatly disliked the color, and started dying it as soon as he was allowed to. His skin is a little more pale than is usual, due to the fact that he never spent much time outside on the sun when he was younger.
Prefering more fancy clothing, you'll rarely see him wearing anything that looks at least remotely casual. While he wears the school uniform when required, he's quick to change it for something more regal. Most of the time you can see him wearing his favourite dark blue trench coat, with red colored insides and various yellow add-ons. Underneath it he usually chooses either a shirt or a similarly styled long sleeved top, which is in red color most of the time, to match with his coat. While white doesn't exactly fit the color scheme, it is one of his favourite colors and it shows on his pants choice. Topped with a black belt, knee-high boots and gloves, he might look a little strange to the normal eye.
Personality:
Akuma can be percieved to be a fairly melancholic person. Often, he can be found sitting by himself, daydreaming about what could be. Always thinking of the different possibilites if he did something else that he had, he may seem a little detached from the present. Even though that is the standard, he does not always stay inside his bubble, as he likes to see what will happen when he does this or that in reality too. He does not shy away from attempting new things as he believes it is impossible to change anything, if you won't even give it a try first, no matter how impossible it seems to be. He always appears to be searching for something, yet not even he himself is sure for what purporse, and just what is he looking for.
Generally, he is friendly to others, but if there is something he wants to try out, and it means he'd have to be hurtful towards another person, he won't hold back. It is the cost of experimenting afterall. His actions largely depend on the situation at hand and what options he currently has, and he is not against choosing an option that will cause chaos either, just to see the result. Not believeing in set destiny, he wants to know how much can he affect his and others' future by simply acting on something even if the others don't. He will always charge in first when others hesitate, because missing an opportunity is a sad thing.
The Potential
Strengths:
—Strength Name: ''Did you see me? No? I thought so.'' —Description: Akuma is adept at hiding in the shadows, and moving about without people noticing him. He knows how to blend in the crowd and when he wants to he can slip by completely unnoticed, as if he wasn't even there in the first place.
—Strength Name: Persuasive —Description: As he spends a lot of time pondering on things, he has a good imagination and can improvise well. It makes it easier for him to sound believable, and he is good at swaying people to consider his way to be useful, or making a complete nosense sound actually legitimate.
—Strength Name: Balance —Description: It is said that cat will always fall on all its fours when pushed off of somewhere. While it is not the exact same with Akuma, he definitely is good at holding his ground. It is a hard task to make him trip, fall over or get him out of balance in general. This is one of the reasons he works as a waiter, as he is capable of making his way around expertly without dropping anything.
—Strength Name: Empathy —Description: Akuma has the uncanny ability to sense the emotional state of others and tune in to their moods. This makes him a perfect choice if someone need consoling as he's good at saying the right things to seem as if he understands others' feelings.
—Strength Name: I can do it! —Description: He generally has a good mental stamina, and can keep doing a task at hand for very long periods of time. For example he has no problems to stay up all night and be still functional enough, even work on something that needs him to think hard.
Weaknesses:
—Weakness Name: Attention span level : Zero —Description: His daydreaming nature makes his attention span quite low, as he often spaces out to think on various theories, and thus forgets to listen to what is he supposed to. His attention often gets diverted to something entirely else in the matter of minutes, seconds even, if he's not entertained enough.
—Weakness Name: Target Practice —Description: For some reason, Akuma always seems to attract those that like to insult him and make fun of him. As much as he doesn't like it, he gets picked on a lot, and it makes him even more melancholic than normally. The biggest one is, that he is gay, and he gets called for that very often.
—Weakness Name: Nonstop Blabber —Description: Akuma likes to talk, and way too much. Once he starts up, it's hard to make him stop, and it can be distracting both for others and himself, as it for example isn't a good thing to talk endlessly in the middle of a battle, and yet he does so.
—Weakness Name: Can't let go —Description: He has the tendency to get attached to the people he interacts with, and has a hard time in case there is an argument or the other person wants to split ways. The longer he knows the person, the worse it gets, and he can even get depressed when something's not working out.
—Weakness Name: Reckless Soul —Description: His willingness to try out anything to see how will it affect everything around is often coupled with him not considering the possibilites it can lead to, and thus he heads forward without precautions, being quite a bit reckless.

The Background
History:
Akuma was a fairly energetic child when he was young. His parents always had their hands full, as he poked his nose into everything without fail. Even at school, they could barely contain him in one place for long, and he was often trouble in class, even though his marks weren't bad. Wherever he went, he was always surrounded by other kids, as he was polular for his inquisitive nature and ability to cause mischief without getting caught. Being alone was never a case he experienced until he grew into his teen years.
When he was 12, his mother had another child, and thus he had now had a brother to help take care of, as his parents had times when they were busy with work. With that, he had to limit his outings with friends, and stay home with his little sibling, Kiyoshi. Being used to jumping from one thing to another, and always trying something new, this predicament had bored him greatly, and he became a bit sour. A year later, by an accident, his schoolmates found out that he liked guys, rather than girls, and that made matters worse. They started calling him names and picking on him, even though they seemingly loved hanging out with him just a while ago. Akuma didn't protest against it much and choose to rather withdraw into himself, than oppose them outright. He didn't believe they would change, even if he tried. For him it was more beneficial to focus on more important matters than ignorant young teens. His tendency to risk still remained, but he mostly did it on his own.
Seeing that, his classmates were just getting bolder in their advances, he eventually decided to transfer schools, and try anew, even though the thought of leaving his family didn't make him happy. As much as he disliked taking care of his brother, who was now 4 years old, he loved him nonetheless. Kiyoshi often comes to visit him in his apartment that he rented in Nokawia though, so Akuma is fairly happy with the way it went. He only hopes that in this new place, he'll blend in better.
