Persona Background: In Norse mythology, Fáfnir (Old Norse and Icelandic) or Frænir is a son of the dwarf king Hreidmar and brother of Regin, Lyngheiðr, Lofnheiðr and Ótr. After murdering his own father to inherit all of his gold and his infinite wisdom, he was cursed by Andvari and turned into a monstruous dragon as punishment. He was eventually slain by the warrior Sigurd.
