| The group would fade into white, and wake up with strange noises pervading their ears. They would see around them a world that flickered like a computer monitor, and they would feel strange, like their body wasn't entirely theirs and another presence was inside it. On their clothing were various lit lines like they were cables connected by something. Were they in a cybernetic realm? On top of that it seemed to affect their actual persons this time. They all were in some form or another, dressed as though they belonged in a computer mainframe.
They were in an alleyway, and for the most part alone, only soon they would find a blue light above them in the sky. It would get bigger, and bigger, and bigger, until it flew down at incredible speeds....and crashed into the nearby dumpster. Out from it burst a young lady, floating in midair with long blue sleeves and a not so chipper expression. She grabbed a dumpster rail and looked at the group like they were her last available hope."Everything is getting deleted! It's all going in the trash! Help, I don't want a system shutdown!"

| When Danielle opened her eyes, she found herself in yet another place she didn't recognize... What a shocker, right? The strange noises didn't exactly make her feel any more confident than before, but at least she had made it through in one piece... but what about the others? And Nozomi? "Ugh... Are you guys okay?" She asked the group, inspecting her current surroundings with moderate curiousity. This place was strange... Everything looked so weird. Even her clothes were different. How in the world...?
She didn't get much time to do much if anything else before a bright, blue light crashed violently into a nearby dumpster, only for a blue-haired woman, who looked to be on the verge of tears, to pop out, only adding to Danielle's confusion. The words this new person spoke however, sounded very dire... Deletion could never be a good thing, and considering they were now trapped in this world thanks to Dio, Danielle and her friends were probably in danger of being deleted as well, which she could not let happen. "The situation sounds dire. Sure, what can we help you with to stop this deletion?" She asked the woman. Right now, that had to be stopped before further questions could be asked... however, there was one more thing she wished to know. "Where are we...?"

| The first time Oki had world hopped it was due to its own will after it had been given its new ability. It had found Nozomi and befriended him in the desert. Back then the world acted strange along with the young man himself. Things were falling apart and war threatened to break out; however, things seemed to change when Nozomi brought the two sides together. Then like some snippet of a movie or a picture finally taken perfectly, they had been tossed from that world and through Oki’s power was able to be pulled into a world that gave off a familiar energy without much issue. While it was true in the past Oki had not been able to explore all the worlds of the Alt. Azores, it was also true that to some degree they all gave off a strange energy that felt like home. The place they were in before with the Fairy Folk...it had to be part of the old Azores, but for whatever reason its condition had been worse than the last one...and this time thanks to interference...that world began to fade until there was nothing, but whiteness all around. That world and Nozomi...Wild cards and Philemon….Zodiacs and demons...the minister and Zachary…..They were all connected in this big puzzle in some fashion, but how each part worked Oki could only imagine as its mind shifted through the madness. The worlds were unraveling and shifting in odd ways. The familiar being erased and replaced with some form of desert. The worlds were collapsing, but every Zodiac it had met seemed to be having other agendas and not focusing on saving the worlds...why? What made them abandon their duty? What was the disconnect and how was it that Nozomi had such an impact on the worlds around him? Would this girl they had found that claimed she had a power similar to Nozomi have the same effect on the world? And why did it feel like Oki was only seeing half of the story….What was this really? Those were the chaotic thoughts that plagued the being’s mind as it floated in whiteness for who knew how long until a voice so soft it was barely audible called out to it. Open your eyes...It was a female voice soft and so far away. Open your eyes…
The voice was familiar and closer as a presence stood by it in the whiteness. Open your eyes, Oki. *** It heard the soft command and with light jolt, the creature twitched in its sleep. With some difficulty, it let its body reboot so to speak. First the sound of strange static and other noises it associated with either an out TV or a computer going a bit haywire greeted its ears. Then the strange feeling of being in its body, but not really? Yeah...that was strange and perhaps that disconnect was what made it so hard for the creature to get its scrambled thoughts under control and in turn its body. A full minute after Danielle had awoken, Oki would groan lightly in its sleep as its face twisted with the battle to open its eyes. When it finally did, it would find it was seeing static for a bit. Static...how strange. Had it fallen in front of out TV or what? It didn’t seem that way for this static was soon clearing revealing a sideways world of technology it had never seen before. Still on the ground the creature would blink a couple of times trying to understand what it saw. When no solution came, it pushed itself into a sitting position and lift a gloved hand to ruffle its hair; however, upon seeing its glove it would pause as its eyes scanned the glove. It was black...and it the strangeness didn’t stop there. It’s whole outfit had turned black with the exception of the odd blue line pattern that ran along its legs arms and formed strange patterns as it crossed the small valleys of the belts it wore. Its clothing weren’t the only changes either. The exposed flat crystals on its cheeks that typically shined a dull red were now a strange hue of blue. Even the red ring around its eyes had shifted to match the blue color scheme though Oki could not see that as it frowned in confusion. What in the world? Eh?A question caused Oki to look up at the girl called Danielle, the usual green coloration gone from its eyes and replaced with a gold colored that glowed lightly in this strange world's dark atmosphere. Shifting its weight, Oki noticed its hat had fallen off, so grabbing the item and hooking it to its belt, the creature would get to its feet. “We are...perplexed, but fine physically...we think,” the being would say and then tilting its head it would look at her. “You?” it would ask its tone a lot softer than when they first met. Maybe it had gotten used to her by now, who knew. Whatever the case was Oki was being kinder to her than before so that was a plus. In any case, regardless of the answer given, Oki would drift over to the remainder of the group offering a hand to anyone who needed assistance getting up. Once everyone was back on their feet, Oki would look at the group with an unreadable expression before its eyes land on Angela. They had lost Nozomi, but had gained her and Danielle... Watching her, it would fold its arms. “You didn’t fade and could come with us...Why is that?” Oki would ask as it watched the woman with a curious expression. It figured she was not of that world, but to be able to travel to another world and not fade away? That seemed a bit too odd for Oki. The being would watch her until a light from above distracted it causing it to look up and follow the descent of the thing that fell out of the sky. A...new arrival? Oki would frown a bit thoroughly confused by these random appearance; however, the look would turn to shock as it saw the girl that had come from that streak that crashed into the dumpster. On instinct, it took a step forward with an expression of confusion and concern on its face, as its mind raced to register what was happening. “Beep?” The creature would say before it could stop itself. It had been two years, but Oki did not forget the face that had got it wrapped up with the Angels to begin. The one that summoned the champion that was associated with goddess... Despite its shock, it would shake its head as its expression became serious once more as it mind shifted to addressed each issue one by one. First the question about where they were. It would look towards Dainelle. “Oki is a bit uncertain, but we think….we may be inside of a computer….and not just any computer, but the one that resided in Alt. San Maralus. Either that or somehow a computer program has come out of the system and now resides in a very altered San Maralus,” Oki said as it scratched its head a bit confused. It really wasn’t sure what had happened, but it knew without a doubt this was San Maralus. The world had changed, but the feeling was the same...and Beep was here too. Surely it wasn’t going mad with its logic, was it? On that note, it wondered if it was in a computer, then what happened to the human side of this place….Did it fade too? And if so. What about Helen? So many questions, so many conflicts within. How does one focus? Oki had no clue, but it somehow did as its eyes turned to Beep. The expression more serious as its eyes glowed slightly with a passion that had been missing for two years now. “Beep said this place is being deleted and going into the trash, eh? Hmph. Oki will not let that happen. Tell us what is going on and we will do our best to help stop this deletion,” Oki would say, the creature seeming to become actually alive for the first time since beginning this quest or returning to Azores for that matter. Perhaps the familiar had finally knocked away the last wall that had made the being not care before. Whatever it was it looked like the creature finally found its fire from two years ago and in turn found itself once more.

| "What is this?A rerun of Tron?" That was the first thing Blaez said after waking up, he appeared to be rather annoyed, as always. "I have been worse." He let out a sigh as he observed his surroundings more carefully. Not long after their arrival the group found themselves in the company of a blue haired girl, she looked very distressed for whatever reason, saying that everything would get deleted, it seems Oki knew this girl and that her name was Beep. "Calm down, alright? We can't help if we don't what's going on." | |

| Ugh, damnit, I hate this. Jumping through dimensions is so disorienting. And why do I feel like my body isn't mine and there is something else inside it? AAAANDD why are there glowing lines on me? Oh fucking hell, is this like tron? Because if it is, I hate this. Why can't anything be NORMAL for once? Like, oh, there is the big bad, we need to go on a quest to kill him and save everyone! But no, we don't know where the fuck we are going, what the fuck we are doing, or what the fuck we are fighting! I think visibly fuming for a bit. *Sigh* Well, getting all pissy about it isn't going to help anything, so might as well try to get through this. Looks like we are in an alleyway... a digital alleyway probably. Huh? What's that blue light? And why is it speeding towards us? ..... did it just crash into a digital dumpster full of digital trash? *Sigh* everything is bloody digital. And who is that lady? Welp, computer world confirmed, and as usual, everything is being destroyed. Looks like Danielle already has the major questions covered. Wait, she doesn't know where we are? Don't tell me she doesn't know about the internet..... *Sigh* frick. "So um, Danielle was it? We are sorta in an artificial world I believe. Think of a world where everything isn't really real, and it's all run on electricity. That's what we are in I believe." Yeah, Oki's explanation didn't really cover for the fact that Danielle probably doesn't know the first thing about computers. Ugh. Strange thinking that, when literally our entire world is reliant on advanced computing technology. So this girl's name is.... Beep? I am so disappointed. You would think it would be some fancy computer program name shortened into some short name. "Well, as per usual we need to take out the source of the problem.... not that we have any idea what that is."

| Her mind was heavy... It happened again, didn't it? She'd slowly push herself into a sitting position, her free hand touching her head. A pounding head ache resounded within it. Everything hurt... She couldn't believe it, though. She brought her hand to where she could see it, and she flinched. He wasn't here... He had been in her hands... But it had been too late. That world... It was gone and he was gone... Dead.It was happening again... Everyone around her was dying. That first world... She realized they were all gone. All forever lost and unreachable... Just like her son and husband. Why couldn't she be stronger? Why couldn't she have done it sooner? Why did things have to happen the way they did!? She was angry, sad, guilt filled. What was the point in trying? Nothing seemed to work anyways... She shouldn't have come here... She should've stayed where Jack was close by... Where she could rely on others and not endanger people with her presence..."Stop thinking such dreadful thoughts, Raina. We're here... And people have died, yes... But, fight to save their memories. Fight to save them from disappearing into nothingness." The doll maker would say as she sat next to Raina. She'd give her a small smile, knowing all to well the hopeless look the widow was trying to conceal. She had grown to know this woman very well over the past two years, and she knew when she was falling into hopelessness. Now wasn't the time for that though... They had to keep fighting and survive this ordeal. It wasn't right to just act like those people had died... That those entire worlds had fallen into nothingness... But, if that was all they focused on then this world would disappear as well and that couldn't happen. Not now, not ever.
The widow would hear the words, but... She didn't take them to heart. It was too hard to carry that burden. It was to hard to move forward without anyone to help her. Clarita was defenseless... She had to defend her at all cost knowing that no one else would... She had to do so much, and no one would listen, care, even give her a second thought. She was so tired of this... She just wanted it to all end. Just to forget this all ever happened... Living a lie that didn't hold these terrifying truths.
But, as much as she just wanted to stop... She couldn't. Not yet. There was still something she could do... Something she strived for. And she wouldn't stop until she reached that goal... That faint, impossible, insane goal. She'd stand up on shaky legs, sighing heavily as she wiped the tears away from her eyes. She clutched the journal in her hands tightly, her knuckles white from the strain. Maybe this world held the secret... Maybe."Alright... Let's do our best to save this world... We have to save it..." The widow would say with a determined look in her eyes. This place... It looked familiar. But, that didn't matter now. What mattered was that they had to help this girl and save this world from extinction. They couldn't afford to loose at any cost. It was now or never... Do or die. No more running away, no more being bystanders in these affairs... Action was needed, and action was what Raina was ready to give.
The doll maker would stand up next to her prodigy. She honestly didn't know what was coursing through her companion's mind. She was a lost soul, in all honesty... Tormented by the past and all the pain she had held deep within her heart for so many years. A lot of things she blamed herself even though they weren't her fault... But, she'd stand by her no matter what. It was the right thing to do for a friend and a loved one.

| Angela rubbed the back of her head with an almost nervous smile. "Uhhhh...long story. I don't exactly come from that world like you guys. And you guys must have come from somewhere else as well before here? I've been sort of doing the same, hopping between worlds." She said, and looked toward the floating lady. Beep looked to Oki with a sense of familiarity....she knew that she had met them before, but she wasn't entirely sure where. She flew towards them and inspected their face. It was strange for Beep to not remember; she was an AI. She doesn't forget anything. But here it was like the memory was blurred out, or in her own words, corrupted. They definitely knew her name, which put a smile on her face. "Ooooookay Oki! You're right though. This is the mainframe for the San Malarus Database 2.0. But something on the outside had destroyed our world, so all of the citizens brains were dumped here, and made into a virtual reality. But here it's getting messed with!" She panicked, and charged into a nearby wall, only to pass through it and come out from the wall a few feet away. "Well, I dunno what's going on. The world is just losing its memory and files, and it'll all be thrown away unless we try to get to the backup files! But it's lost inside one of the buildings here! I gotta go looking, I need your help to cover ground!" Beep looked around at the countless buildings of the street. Sure with teams like that it'd definitely be possible, but how many would agree to do it? Once more, this world most likely did not operate on the same rules. Could they figure it out? | |

| Seeing that everyone was okay brought a thin smile to Danielle's face. They had all made it out of that mess in one piece. As for what this world was, it evidently was some form of... storage. A 'Database'. Whatever that was. Not that Danielle questioned it. She just went on with the flow of things, just like her training as a Soldier had taught her: Adaptability and Survivabilty are the two most useful traits on the battlefield. That fact hadn't changed, and probably never would.
So this database stored people inside of it in case of a crisis... smart idea, if there was a way for those stored to return to their own world once the crisis was over... It was worth thinking about. But not right now. That was a problem they had to deal with later. Right now, they had a more immediate threat to deal with. "Roger! Show us the way, Beep. We'll keep you covered!" Danielle replied, summoning her Soulbound. "Make sure to keep up the pace. We don't have much time. If anyone has any means of communication, we can all split into groups. That way, our search for these backup files will be much faster. Otherwise, we'll stick together as one group. Any objections?" She looked towards the rest of her newly found allies. This wasn't the first time Danielle took charge over a small team in an effort to do something specific, and it wouldn't be the last time either, if she had her way... Hopefully, there wouldn't be any objections, because judging by Beeps panicked state of mind, they didn't have much time...- Strength:
—Strength Name: Born Leader —Description: Danielle is a natural leader, and an expert at increasing the morale of her friends and allies, pushing them to work harder. Allows her partners to use her Word count as their own when dungeon crawling.

| “Tron?” Oki would ask not exactly getting the reference since it had never seen whatever Tron was before. The question was a faint one, showing that it was a passing curiosity that really didn’t need to be answered if no one wanted to answer it. Regardless of if it got any response or not, its eyes would drift over to Raina and her friend. The blonde seemed to have taken the fading of the last world pretty badly. The creature had noticed she had tried to save the King, but unlike Angela, he had been unable to cross over.
Watching the woman break like that made the creature frown slightly as it felt a small pain in the spot where it heart was. It…really wished they could save many, but in the end it seemed like whatever was going on here was going to take out more before it was better. That other world they didn’t get a chance to save thanks to Dio, but…that was the past. As much as it hurt to push that world on the back burner, there was nothing they could do for it at the moment. They had to push forward and save this one and hope that by doing so they could find a way to restore the worlds lost. “Yes. Let’s work together to save this world,” Oki would say to Raina before falling silent a bit, it would hear the words the young man spoke to Danielle and wonder if that was even necessary since the girl didn’t seem to say much to either of their explanation. That oddness aside, its eyes turned to Angela as she answered its question.
“Hmmm. Another world, huh? Well, if we have time later Oki would like to hear your story,” the being would say before its golden eyes shifted to look at Beep as she moved directly into its personal space bubble.
Not being bothered by this the creature would allow the study, its pale lips shifting into a small smile as it saw the AI smile in response to her name. Maybe she couldn't remember, but it was good to see her smiling regardless; however, the small smile would turn into a frown as it heard the information about where they were and what happened to the residents. Something had destroyed…San Maralus and now the people were here and digitalized? What the hell happened for that to occur? How did said thing beat Helen? That was not good and worried the creature a great deal. It wonder if the other side could be restored or if they were to be bound to this digital world forever. On top of this it seemed Beep didn’t know what was causing the melt down here either….
Oki would hear this and ponder what to do for only a few moment before its mind settled on what it had to do. Other side or not, this was its home and as such it would protect it with its life no matter the form. Determined the creature would pull itself out of its thoughts as eyes drifted to Danielle as she spoke.
“We understand communication would be vital in this case if we were to split up; however…we have a whole city to cover so we could very well be going down long path indeed staying lumped together as one. We understand safety in numbers, but we need to sweep the area as effectively as possible. So I think splitting up is best. If we all agree to the split, then I will go with Beep to help her examine the area. If not, then I'll follow your command,” the creature would say before it looked towards Beep and Angela. “One that, note what are your abilities?” the creature would ask the pair looking from the program to the woman with them. If Beep was an AI maybe she was programmed with something to aid in communication or vision….and Angela. It didn’t think it was a coincidence that the woman could world hop or had come with them. She had to have some power of her own.
Just like there had to be a reason for all of this happening. Nothing was due to chance...

| Beep nodded as she looked up to the sky. It flickered as though it was an image of a TV getting interference. Her arms flailed as she watched. "Gaaaah! It's all going to vanish! Then let's go find the backup! If someone finds it, just call for Beep 2.0! I'll get everyone to you!!!!! Watch out, the backup files constantly move, for safekeeping, so be sure to keep track!" And with that, her body split into several limbs, and all flew in one direction in a zigzag pattern. This left the group on their own to look around. They would be able to tell that in their bodies were some sort of add-on so to speak. They still felt human, but they also felt like they had...well, downloaded something. They had access to the grid and could look at the city with a bird's eye view from their own head, which would be vast, and probably impossible if they used such a method. However, they could use the city to map out areas they were interested in. In short, they didn't necessarily have to split up and go to the area physically; it was all in their heads, literally.- Search for the Backup:
For this investigation, you have the map to the city in your head, and there are several places you can explore in order to find the backup files. You may search of the following areas, however for each person that chooses to search an area together, the chance of finding something will be higher. For example, if two people search one area, and one searches another, the one with two will have a 30% (15% for each person) and 15% for the area with one person. You will only have a limited amount of time to select an area, so choose wisely.
1. The Glowing Leech: A Nightclub frequent with lights, dancing, and underground deals.
2. The Slums: A wreck area where the lowest on the totem pole in data live, as well as where all the trash files go to to be deleted.
3. Tempus Towers: A corporate monolith of a building which is the source for the highest end of people in charge of running the program. It is also where Beep 2.0 was created.
4. Haven Track: A large stadium where games and competitions are held. Often times no one really goes there, but when things do happen, all eyes in the city are on them.
You only have three total searches to find the right area. Good luck.

| Indeed something was very different with this new world... Not only had their clothes changed, but... they had also gained something else. A way for them to look around the city around them without needing to waste time running around, which was rather convenient. "Hrm..." Danielle hummed to herself, using this new birds-eye view to get a better view of what they were in for. All in all, there were four areas which piqued her interest. A Night-club, A Slum or Ghetto-like part of the city, A massive building towering above all else and some kind of arena... or something. They didn't have much of this in Erisia, and as much as Danielle wished to explore this new world in more detail, that would have to wait, or there would be no world left to explore. "Alright... All of these places look promising. I think we need to take a closer look at the Slums first." Danielle said with a thoughtful look on her face. Sure, they could split their views over multiple areas, but that also meant that they would be less efficient in finding clues... "Let's do this."- Search:
We're all checking out the Slums as a group. That makes it a 75% chance to find something of interest there, since there's five of us in total. (Danielle, Oki, Tremora, Blaez, and Raina.)

| When the group looked over the junkyard, they could see the piles of metal and other matter. Beep was nowhere to be found, perhaps they just missed her. Regardless, what they all did see was that in the middle was a mass of some sort. Upon further inspection, the mass was moving; it was a large group of people gathering at something. They were people, gathering at what appeared to be the sky as it seemed to shift. Holes were being formed ever so slowly, but noticeable enough for them to panic. The people in particular had lights on their bodies like the group did, but they either flickered, were dimming, or even nonexistent. Perhaps they could not afford their newfound existence here very well. Though, what else was obviously noticeable to them, was a single lone figure, running from the crowd. The group could use this newfound feature of theirs to zoom in on the ground level, and were they to do so, they would find someone, running as though their life depended on it.A woman donned in black kept on sprinting, avoiding the nearby debris and obstacles in the Slums as she made her way back into the city. Her direction specifically seemed to be lost, as the vision of the groups would suddenly get blurry the more they tried to track her. However, they did get a telling observation, that she seemed to be running away from the cityside where the Tempus Towers were... | |

| To some it might be a bit of a shock being able to see something without moving towards it; however, for Oki where odd was pretty much its whole existence, this new found ability they had been given did not bother it. It would watch the scene change as easily as it watched an image move across the TV or computer screen. It would take in scenery with neutral eye only frowning when it saw the people gathering around a place that was being plagued by holes.
The people came and they seemed panicked. Their very existences seeming to flicker and hang there with the flicker of their lights. They were dying….and those holes were probably there to erase them fully, but how the hell were they going to stop the holes? The destruction? There were no signs of the back up files here, so what could they d—eh?
Its agitated thoughts would stop as it became distracted by something moving from that crowd. Running away from the destruction. Focusing it would find its view shifting until it saw clearly the figure running.
“L-Lady Helen?”
The shocked words came right out of its mouth before it could stop itself as it felt a mixture of relief and something else it couldn’t quite place well up inside. She was here and alive. That was a relief, but…why was she leaving the people? Didn’t she fight for them? And where was she going? And why was she running from those towers?
The question came and Oki honestly wanted to see more to get answers, but their vision on Helen was lost and now they were back at square one. Oki would blink and shake its head clearing it.
“Tch! Not good…” it grumbled to itself as it bit the thumb of its glove a bit distressed. It was torn between doing the right thing and investigating the towers to actually help others and fulfilling its own selfish desire to see Helen again. What to do…..?

| "You know her?" Danielle asked Oki with a raised eyebrow. Well, whoever it was, they seemed to be in a terrible hurry somewhere... Away from the tower. "We ain't got much time to spare. It's not here, and I doubt it's at the towers as well... Why would Helen be running away from the towers as if her life depended on it?" Running away from the tower. What for? There were two possible scenarios Danielle could think of. Either Helen was doing the same thing they were doing, aka, finding the backup files, and if so, her running away from said tower meant that she had already looked there... or that she had stolen the files herself. The latter case was way worse, as they had no idea where she was going... but the Tower was obviously not the place to look. "We should check the Glowing Leech next. It seems like a place she could be going with the files... Then we'll split over the last two areas, to cover all our bases."- Destination:
We're heading to the Glowing Leech next. All of us are. So a 75% chance to find something.

| When viewing the Glowing Leech, they would see from the skies that the woman from before had ran straight into the Glowing Leech. Unfortunately, they had yet to see Beep from before this time as well. However, they did seem to notice in their field of vision, that various functions that they didn't understand, but felt were going on. They could tell that they were closing in on a very base program, sort of like a command prompt. There was no mistake. Perhaps it was their new body makeup, but they could tell the source had found its way here. With whatever was at the club, they could use it to access the backup folders that they needed so badly. They could hurry now and save time, or they can choose to spend their time searching one more area. The choice was their own. | |
