| She couldn't deny, it was endearing watching how Alex acted mildly offended in light of her innocent teasing about his schedule. Obviously, the girl knows that Alex, as a cadet, must run low in time due to his governmental obligations, just like she knew how he was not so stiff, personality-wise, and could actually take her carefree remarks as nothing but that, jesting, humorous and teasing remarks with no malicious purpose. Much to her surprise, however, they were getting along fine. Was it her warming personality breaking through Alex's somewhat dismissing behavior?
“Hm... I don't remember the name... Burger something, that's for sure!”, she munched on another small round chocolate brought to her mouth. “It's on the way from school. I'm, like, so bad with directions and all, but I went there a few times with my class friends. Can't explain the location exactly but I know how to go there from school. For real!” It was the sort of instinctive knowledge she learned over time. If Alex was interested, she could always take him to said location the next day. That's, probably, the only way he'd reach the place if he relied solely on Brittany's ability to guide. Now, as for the waltz topic... she couldn't help but smile, her lips twisting their outlines in a shape resembling that of a child who earned a great gift at holidays. “Well...I can always make a little bit of time. Like, between classes and all...or a bit of time after my training sessions. It's no big deal, I'm a quick learner! Trust me!” She replied with her typical confidence. Albeit not looking the part, Brittany was far from being classified as a "dumb" girl. Some would find the stereotype appealing due to her airhead nature, although in reality she was just an easily excitable, easily distracted person. Some says that "when anything and everything in the world seems extraordinary enough to drag your attention, then naturally you'll find yourself at a loss".

| It could’ve been the girl’s personality or maybe her ability to not run when a storm came up that kept the young cadet’s interest in her. She was odd and not someone anyone would peg him to hang around. She was bubbly and free spirited while Alex was more down to earth with a no nonsense personality. They were two opposites that some may wonder how they even managed to get along together, even more so when Alex seemed to bite in unfriendly manners at his guest from time to. Yet despite all the negatives scattered about, somehow the pair were still hanging around each other and chatting. Did he like her? Maybe, but then again maybe this was what one would call tolerating another. It was honestly hard to say and probably did not matter in the long run. What mattered was what was occurring in the now, so that is what the cadet focused on rather than the more confusing matter of why he was allowing this to occur.
The young man would lean slightly against the counter as he heard what the other had to say about the burger place a slight frown of disapproval coming to face in the process. “Well, that is no good. If you can’t remember the name, define the location, or even give directions to the place, then how am I ,or anyone for that matter, going to find it if I went looking for the place on my own?” the cadet would ask as he tilted his head at the other. Oh he could find the place if he really wanted to he supposed, but he had posed the question for two reasons. One: he liked to see if one was being lazy in giving information or actually just didn’t know how to explain it and 2) He was kind of curious about this matter.
If she was bad at explaining things or giving directions, then wouldn’t that cause some issues if she encountered someone that maybe didn’t get things without detailed information? Or even worse if someone needed to find her for some reason or another due to unfavorable circumstances? The inability to do such a thing such as explaining or describing seemed quite strange to the child and while under other circumstances he might’ve picked at someone or even gave them a lecture on why this inability was bad, today the young lady before him got lucky. Instead of going on the attack flat out, he allowed her to explain herself. A sign of respect? Perhaps, but the window of opportunity would only remain open for a short period of time before the topic shifted back to waltzing and the woman with him began to smile once more.
“Is that so?” Alex would say giving her a small smirk in turn for what he saw and heard. While the behavior could be off putting, it was her confidence that saved her this round. The young man liked that aspect of her and so instead of becoming to annoyed, he was able to hold his ground and give her a chance. If she wanted to really learn, he’d teach her. Though they had the matter of scheduling to deal with. Hrmm…
The cadet would lean back away from the counter as he looked upward in thought pondering a bit as his mind shifted through his own schedule. Well...he could wiggle some space between that and this...and while her answer was vague and didn’t help much......Maybe this idea would work? He would lock his eyes back on her as his mind settled on something.
“Well, since we have met twice during the afternoon thus far, why not make the class for an afternoon time slot?” It did seem like the most logical choice here unless it was just coincidence they had run into each other twice around the same time frame. Eh. Well, she could make a change if she wanted and from there they could wiggle about the time frame a bit until they found a slot they both could agree on.
