He nodded to her after all she had time to learn and to understand this new environment she was in and with due time she would feel part of this society as well.
~ Ah, I do Martial Arts. ~ He thought for a second and remembered that it was more common to people to know about the unharmed combat portion of the art. ~ But with a sword, you know? I'm like that guys in Oriental fighting movies... But not as good. ~There we go, that was a better explanation about what he did for training to someone who didn't knew anything about Martial Arts. He smiled back, nodding and giving her an assuring glance. ~ Don't worry... I know how it's hard to be new or feel left out. ~

"Ah! I see. Well, with enough practice, you'll get there eventually." Batilde replied with a gentle smile. So it was Kendo...? Or something? "Heh... I wish I had any hobbies, but alas... I have lots of studies to do. I just don't have the time..." She almost looked a bit sad when mentioning this. Her parents had sure been strict regarding her free-time, as she was the next heir to the family buissness. It was understandable to a degree from the parents point of view, but... was it really the best way to raise a child? Most certainly not, and the fruits of their "parenting" were starting to show themselves a bit to Liam, should he be paying attention. Sure, he may not know exactly why she is this way, but he could probably come up with some theory on his own time.

"If only more people were like you. I felt like such an outcast during class today..." Batilde replied, biting her lip somewhat. "I guess that's normal when you're a foreigner like myself, so it's to be expected."

~ Hah, I hope so! If I do, you're invited to the set of my movie! ~ He laughed it off, feeling like the craziness of the films could never be achieved in real life in his eyes. ~ Well, you can always have hobbies... at school... I guess.~ He didn't have a strict setting to live on by, as high creativity was stimulated in the family on early stages and after everything happened much more time was spent awoken at night and on psychologists sessions, so it was hard for him to catch why her tone was a little...disappointed, it seemed?

~ People are scared of what's different. But don't let that shake you. ~ He pumped his chest up and faked a hair flip. ~ Different is cool, see? ~ He laughed again. ~ But seriously, be the difference. that's what I learnt. ~

"Oh, gosh, you don't have to do that, monsieur Liam." Batilde replied with a light blush. She was of course happy for the offer, but it came completely out of nowhere. The two barely knew eachother and yet he was already willing to do such a thing?

"Well... Maybe... I should perhaps look into a part time job soon... " The girl said thoughtfully, moreso to herself than Liam. Whatever worked for her, so long as it gave her an excuse to get away from school work. As for hobbies at school... "Like what? You mean reading, or something?" She asked him when it came to the hobbies at school. Maybe she'd find something to do soon...

Batilde laughed along with Liam. "Yes, Yes it is." She said after catching her breath a bit. How long had it been since she had genuinely laughed with someone else? Honestly, she couldn't even remember, but regardless, Liam had certainly made a really strong, first impression. "Heh, Alright. I'll try." She would then open the door, before turning to face him once again. "Well then... Shall we go?"

~ Oh come on, it would be fun! ~ Liam was still kind hearted at his core after all that has happened to him and the fact she was an outcast like him just cooperated to this natural responses from him.
After laughing a little bit about her being all embarrassed about his innocent offer, at least for him, he pondered about what she have said. ~ Hm, I've been wanting to get one for me too, but it's more for the money, y'know. ~ Even if he received a good quantity from the Government, have extra cash is always nice to buy things you want sometimes. ~ Yeah, or you could join the Sororities and have some fun too! ~
The boy stretched a little before proceeding with the conversation, giving a nod to her and grabbing his backpack. ~ You should! ~ He directed himself to the door of the class, smiling. ~ After you, missy. ~
