Recruitment(Nagisa,Jack)

His part was done,he contacted both Nagisa and Jack in any way he could,Nagisa showed some interest in joining the rangers,Blaez had the feeling that she would be disappointed if she met Jack,she was probably expecting a more mature person to be the leader,and not a teenager hyped about rangers and super heroes,but of course she could change her mind during the meeting,nobody agreed with anything yet.

The place was the investigation club room,Blaez got there before Nagisa and Jack,he grabbed a chair and sat down,all he could do was wait for them to show up,hopefully by the end of the day they would have a new member with some different skills.

The day to meet Blaez's "leader" had finally come, by that time Nagisa had discovered that her powers were not something common among the persona users so it was possible that whoever that leader was he would be eager to have someone with her skills in his team despite her lack of experience. Still she decided to appear as charming as possible. She wore one of her mother's designs, a short black dress with puffed sleeves along with a pair of high heels and a golden necklace, her long hair were loose as usual. She paused for a moment before she entered the club room in order to get rid of the stress, but she realized that her worries were misplaced since only Blaez was in the room.

"Hello there" She said. "Your leader wasn't arrived yet I take it. And here I was thinking that I was late. Thank you for reaching out to him for me." Unsure of what else to say she picked a chair and sat next to Blaez, at least he was a familiar face which made Nagisa feel more comfortable.

When he got the text he was more then a little surprised... Blaez... Blaez of all people had reached out and found another ranger! This was amazing! Beyond amazing in fact, it was phi nominal! Jack was sure Blaez wasn't even into the idea of being a ranger, but his just proved that Blaez was just as gung ho about this as Jack! Maybe this meant Blaez was a closet Featherman fan! Oh! That would be amazing! He'd have to talk to em latter about it, but now was not the time for that. Whoever Blaez got for the rangers... Jack would make sure he made a good first impression. At first he thought he could show up in a suit and great them in a formal setting... but that idea was stupid and lacked any form of burning ambition! So Jack went with a much more... impressive idea.

As soon as Nagisa would sit down, the lights in the room would cut out... for a moment all was dark. Then the light at the very front of the room cast a spot light down over a lone figure, back turned to the pair, who was... probably?... not standing there a second before.


"Greatings young hero!" The man said, he wore a red blazer and black khaki pants. The long red scarf around his neck flowed in the summer breez... in spite of the fact that they were indoors..."I have heard the burning cry of your heart! It has called me forth from lands of ambition and blazing wills! You wish to join our ranks... then so be it. The very fact that you are here today is proof enough to me that you possess the passions necessary. However... It will not be so simple to join us... the tests you shall endure will try your very being! Before that... please allow me to properly introduce myself... I am the Crimson Chariot! Leader of the True Self Sentai! Red Ranger of the Personangers! I am!" Jacks soul ignited as he triumphantly spun to face the pair,"Jack Ra-NAGISA!?"

As fast as they had dimmed the lights came back.... now the fan that had been blowing Jack's scarf could clearly be seen... it was one of those nice blade-less ones. Ya know the silent fans..... Very expensive...

"Hey Nagisa."He greeted the girl"It's nothing,but i advise you to keep your expectations low,he might not be what you are expecting."Jack was probably excited like a little girl with the news of a new persona user,he didn't mentioned Nagisa's skills in the text,it would be better if the girl explained it herself,after all she was the one who understood it better.

The lights went off"Huh...?This is probably his doing..."The student grunted afterwards,he was expecting something noise but not that,it seems they knew each other so that would,that was good,no need for they introducing themselves"Jack,when you had the time to set this up?"

For the first time in her life Nagisa was completely speechless. There was doubt for it the leader of Blaez's group was no other than Marty the Merry Martian, or Jack. Nobody was as shameless to name their group personangers or call himself crimson chariot. However despite the clear evidence Nagisa was willing to believe that this was a cruel joke, what were the chances for Marty-Jack to go in the same school as she did and on top of that he also knew Blaez and was the leader of his team. It was too much.

She turned her head as stared at Blaez. He tried to warn her but she wouldn't listen now it was too late. How could she know that something like this would happen. She had to come up with something witty to say something to break the awkward silence, something that would turn this charade into a serious conversation. "Is this the team's clown?" She asked hopping that Jack wasn't the actual leader.

Well... This suuuuuure was awkward. Probably the 4th most awkward situation Jack had ever found himself in! Right between showing up to classes without pants or his left leg(long story) and finding out that the actor behind Jason Scot, the original red ranger, did gay porn after leaving the show.... THis turned out to be false but at the moment it was SUPER awkward.

Jack was snapped out of his awkward trance when Blaez asked his question, Jack quickly dropped his heroic stance and pointed towards the large refrigerator box in the corner of the room with the words "NOT JACK" written on it in purple crayon,"I was hiding in there... Had plenty of time to set up." Jack was a master of disguise....

"And No... Nagisa.. I am not the Team's clown... well... Actually I fit that archetype as well don't I?... The point is, you already knew I was the leader of the Personangers... How is this a surprise?" Jack grabbed a chair and sat down to join the group," Unless... Blaez didn't tell you you were joining the personangers... You did tell her right Blaez?... Ugh, ether way, as sure as I am that you would be a great fit for the position of silver ranger, I need to ask you a few questions first."

"She did not believe me when i told her that you're a moron."Nagisa refused to believe that Jack was the team's leader,Blaez conscience was clear,he did warned her in a subtle way"He is the team leader,Nagisa...I told you."Jack wanted to make the silver ranger,maybe it was a good opportunity to explain that she doesn't need to wear the spandex suit if she would join"You don't have to wear the ranger suits if you join."Nagisa was probably considering to not join the team"Look,if you changed your mind that's ok,i understand why someone would back down now."He explained"But your skills would be really useful for the team."Blaez had nothing else to say,he leaned back on the chair and waited for the girl's decision,hopefully Jack's enthusiasm wouldn't push Nagisa away.

Nagisa turned to Blaez for support. "Well he didn't mentioned the name of the team so I figured you weren't using one. And hey I didn't expect a student to work as a mascot in the theme park! Don't you have to be an adult to hire you there anyway?" She asked trying to defend herself. In fact she was so excited when Blaez told her about a team that she didn't pay attention to any names, so she couldn't remember if he said anything about a name.

"Look, no matter how cheesy or childish your name or the policies of your team are you are doing something to stop Thesis so even if I find the whole power range theme somewhat lame,I'm sorry Jack, I guess I will power through it. You can ask me anything and I will answer with the best of my abilities. I just want to make it clear that I wont do nothing involving children or animals."

"Well you see Nagisa... I only work part time and for very little... so It's perfectly alright for a student to work there... At least that's how I see it." Jack sighed and glared at Blaez for a second,"And while Yes you wouldn't HAVE to wear the Ranger Suit it will help you survive in the other worlds. The helmets are air conditioned, double as a gas mask and serve as some minor armor. But for SOME reason I'm the only one who wears it." Jack smiled and turned his attention back to Nagisa,"I'm glad you feel that way. Don't worry though, I'm fully aware that most people would find the theme lame or even childish... but this is the only way I know how to handle myself. If my weird obsession can help save one person then all those days I spent watching a kids show were well worth it...he..." \

Jack sat enjoying the silence for a moment before continuing"Alright, question one, Do you think the human race is worth saving?..."

"As i told you that day,Jack is competent,he is just immature."He whispered to the girl hoping that his leader wouldn't listen,now all that's left to do was wait for the questioning to end,Jack for some reason saved Blaez from that part,but he decided to not bring that up. Nagisa accepted the challenge,at that point Blaez had no doubt that she would be recruited,even if Jack made a tricky question,which was highly unlikely for Jack,Nagisa was smart enough to not fall for it.

"If I didn't believe that the human race was worth saving I wouldn't be here would I? I understand that you will many people say things like "ugh the human race is the worst" and other bullshit like that but if we are to be honest we are pretty great. So yea we shouldn't let this Thesis push us around!" Nagisa replied right away. Azores was her home and even though she disliked most of the people she knew she couldn't stand the thought of her family getting hurt. She along with the other persona users had the power to fight those creatures, it was their responsibility and Nagisa wasn't willing to back down from it.

"I think that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me Blaez heh. Thank you! I think..." Jack chuckled to himself slightly and listened to Nagisa's answer. It was a good answer. It showed she was willing to fight for humanity, which was a good start, but it wasn't the only factor at play, they needed to know that she wouldn't hand humanity over to some angel after a few fancy words..."That is a very good answer, well done. Question two, do you think humanity is capable of forging it's own path in this world, or do we need guidance?" This was the question that mattered. Jack was excited to see how she answered.

"Jack how many questions there are?"He asked,Blaez didn't wanted to waste much time with something simple as recruitment,Blaez had places to go and things to do,and he wasn't adding much to that meeting either,he already did everything he could.

Nagisa rolled her eyes before she answered the question "If there's a point then you better make it soon. I don't understand why you are asking me those weird questions. Humanity has forged it's path through the ages and even though it's not peaceful or perfect it's still the best we have. We could improve but we can do this on our own, it is part of our nature after all." She replied as she crossed her legs. "I thought you would be more interested to learn about my abilities instead of my views on philosophy"

"What if I told you there was another way?..." the question was fast, almost as if Jack was anticipating the answer to the previous question. All mirth and joy left Jack's eyes as they bore into Nagisa with this question. Jack new that Blaez was getting antsy but he would have to wait. This was the last question and by far the most important. It dosn't matter what Nagisa's powers are... just that she held the same ideals in her heart that he held in his...

"What if I were to tell you there were beings out there... powerful beings... one's who's very existence warped the fabric of space and time. And what if I told you that they had plans for humanity. Ideals for how humanity should grow, plans to warp and twist humanity to their own will. Now what if I told you that not all of them are evil...no ... no most of them actually wish only the best for humanity. They want to make worlds filled with gumdrops and marshmallows where they can sit at the top as the lovable ruler of candy land...Humanity would continue in blissful contentment without ever having to struggle or suffer to progress... Now what if I told you we're trying to stop that utopia?... That we're fighting literal gods to prevent this new garden of Eden... What if I asked you again..." Jack's eyes took dug into Nagisa's very soul with his next words.

"Do you think... Humanity can forge it's own path... or do you think we need guidance?...
