Wild Cards and Servants of Angels (Hyde)

Oki tilted its head lightly at Hyde with a mildly shock expression.

"You find Oki a hidden gem?" it repeated as it blinked at the other. It had never considered itself as such before. So did that mean its form changed due to who was looking at it like a kitsune's did? Or...was this a figure of speech? Oki ws confused for only a few seconds before it was returning Hyde's smile with a grin of its own.

"I suppose I can count if you put it that way," it said with a light hearted chuckle that was very much needed in this situation. It began to relax and feel more like itself once more. Hehe. Yes having Hyde here was indeed good...and distracting. Blushing faintly, Oki looked away from the other as it looked around the hall once more reminding itself why it was here. Yes, Hyde was cute and huggable, but hugging and all that stuff had to wait for now. They were on a mission here to figure out what was up with that old guy and this house.

Refocused, Oki and Hyde would work together until they found the hidden compartment and after opening it went into the beautiful garden beyond. As Oki moved about and then paused to examine a minature rose, it listened to Hyde's words.

"Some people do like show things off, but if one is selfish they would go to great lengths to hide what was there," Oki said as it reached out a gloved hand to poke the flower; however, before the glove could touch it, Hyde's warning came through and Oki closed its eyes with a light sigh.

"Hehe. That is very true. I didn't consider the possiblity that this too could be a barrier to whatever is being hidden within," Oki said sheepishly as it looked over at Hyde. "Mmm. I think we are on the right path. Either that or we missed something in the hall back there. Come on, I can see a door between those vines over there," Oki said pointing across the room to an archway where some vines hung. Behind it, the dull glint of a door was there.

Grabbing Hyde's hand, Oki would head over to the door.
