You’re right, Naomi deserves even better friends!” Hyde already made up his mind to defend Naomi in this case, he felt as if it was the right thing to do. That was what his heart was telling him to do at least. “You don’t know what you’re talking about, there were a bunch of famous people who created computers out of their basement and got rich off of it. Those people set off the digital age from being cooped up in their house! Were they failures?! The same thing for people with blogs or make up their own podcasts that are successful, did they turn out to be horrible human beings?!

What was her deal? She was….going her own way..? Naomi’s “mother” looked shocked for a brief moment, unable to comprehend what this brat was spouting, before sneering once more. “I have no child…for her to be roped into such young brats, I cannot let this continue,” She muttered before pulling out her cigarette and swiping it, sending small embers towards Naomi and the rest of her team. Her daughter would not act like she understood. She would have none of that.

Naomi would stare at Hyde with a look that was obviously questioning his sanity, “I appreciate you trying to defend me, but was that really the best way to do it? You make it sound like I have to change the world or something.” Even though she said that, she laughed, “I think I’ll be fine if I just get out of the house every once in a while. Besides, it’s not like I really just sit around all day. I often get stuck with work while I’m at home.” So she was usually doing that, much to her chagrin. She would look at her ‘mother’ and shake her head, “And don’t call these people children. Everyone here is my teammate and…” She would mutter the last few words, hoping the others didn’t hear, “They’re only here to help me, like good people do.” Okay, she had been in the wrong earlier for what she had said and did to Hyde and Kurosawa. It didn’t change that she was still angry, but she had to get past that and admit that there was more to this story than just her side. She was still going to have a long talk with them after this was all over, but that could wait.

The android smiled at a few of Naomi's words, well she seemed to be developing quite rapidly, or maybe she was just trying to be nice. The android figured that either way at least she was trying, but turning his attention back to the woman who had just singed him, the damage was rather minor all in all. "Eventually children leave the nest, sure it will be hard to let them go, but we have to let them fly at some point." Granted, he would struggle with letting Maria grow up, given his entire point was to defend and protect her. Though he would find some way to cope, wouldn't he? Well he would have to since that future was approaching very quickly! Oh well, he would deal with that later, but first he had to knock down the woman! His Persona leaps upon the woman before bashing her with a bronze shield twice, and then quickly leaping off of her. Not wanting to recieve a possible counter attack!

Hyde was hit by the fire attack immediately before he could say much. Little did he know, Fire was Codas’s new weakness . Hyde went down on one knee with a thud, unable to attack, as well as sustaining heavy damage. “I’ll be fine… Just…. End It!”

After hearing Naomi's mockery towards Hyde, the teenager didn't stifle his snickers anymore and laughed openly quite a bit, making no ceremony to make it clear Hyde was the reason of his amusement. The redhead will never change that "maincharactery" personality, will he? His laughter ceased after he heard very well Naomi's words, whom held his attention for this battle the whole time. She was...defending him. Wow. Was the girl trying to get on their good sides now after her horrible screw up from moments before, or was she genuinely developing her character and reformulating her idea about them? Either way, Shunnosuke would quirk a little smile of self-possession. A truce wouldn't be so bad right now as they felt like a true team.

While the fire projectiles did hit him, he endured it well. Hyde, however, seemed to have been caught off guard. — Hang in there! — At the same time, Andromeda lifted her arms and another strike of refreshing aura would invade the team's bodies, aiming to heal their wounds.

Naomi would give a small smile before she raised her boomerang to strike again, “Thank you for everything, Mom.” She knew very well this wasn’t her real mother, but she had to say that. Even if she was afraid or she didn’t know what to say some times, she had to at least say that. And, it felt like she got to say something she always needed to. Her fear and worry weren’t stopping her. It was calming, to say the least.

Shunnosuke smiled as he noticed his friend getting up and ready to counter-attack again. To ensure everyone would stay in health once this battle was done, he'd summon his persona's healing abilities again. That battle would come to an end soon and the better condition they were, the more prepared they'd be for what's coming next, whatever it is.

All at once, like a ball being thrown into a mirror, the final attacks seemed to form large cracks, finally letting her body give way onto itself as though it was waiting for a breaking point before collapsing forward, as large chunks of her face fell off and dispersed on the ground. The fragment of Naomi’s mother was struggling to hold herself up as she spoke with a begrudging smile to Naomi. “You really are on your way to growing up. You should never worry about displeasing me. I know you are worried, and I know we didn’t have the perfect life, but you are my daughter. I love you, and I will never not love you. All that remains is Midnight and Yuki, they are in Block seven, while the source of this awaits you in Block eight. She is slowly corroding your mind and corrupting you. Soon there may be nothing left, but I know you. You fight too hard for your own good and try to justify it. Sometimes you don’t need a reason to act. Not everyone grows at the same pace, and you are no exception. You are my little star, and you will burn brighter than any other…” An arm collapsed under her weight as she continued to struggle to pull her head, now halfway broken off her neck, though her smile; or whatever was left, was just as bright and full of pride. “Don’t ever let your inner problems bother you, and don’t be afraid to rely on those who really want to help you. When you find your purpose, you will have no need to worry about your past. Now go for your mother, and claim what you deserve.” After her final words, the rest of her body seemed to collapse into the same shards of glass that Yatagarasu also collapsed under. Once again, a large weight lifted from the depths of Naomi’s heart. Her mother was always watching her whether she was there or not, and Naomi remembered another truth about herself. Not everyone needs to rush through life.
