| Ariston sighed lightly. Perhaps he was being harsh on the young man. He should learn to control himself, even with personal business whether Shunnosuke was part of it or not. At least he did seem to try and comfort him. He didn’t need it, and he shouldn’t be at the point where students need to help him. Ariston turned to him with a wry smile. “I don’t believe you had malefic intent. I apologize for my demeanor.” Ariston looked away for a brief moment. “Whether you go to him or not, know that he must pay for his sins. I do not want him leaving without atoning for his crimes and realizing what he has done. And if he has as you seemed to describe, then that is good. I don’t want to see students of this school brought onto something that was caused by a member of my family. They should not have to deal with such tension. I really do hope the fool sees the error of his ways…” and with that, he would walk out of the lounge calmly, and leave Shunnosuke. His mind as collected as it normally was, was now in a jumble. What could Lewis be thinking now? Why would he do this? And…was there more to it? | |

| Shunnosuke stayed quiet, watching the man leave. Well, it didn't turn out as he expected, but at least he could guarantee he was now on Ariston's good side. Perhaps his approach wasn't the ideal, but in the end the man could take his good intentions in consideration. Or so it seemed to Shunnosuke who, despite the calm demeanor, the made-up speech and the ability to forge his emotions most of the time (except when suddenly confronted), didn't have the most honest feelings about their little conversation. Regardless, that meeting wasn't at all useless. He did mean to form an alliance of sorts with Ariston, though by the way things stand, he'd have to wait for their future meeting, when the man would be less weary. As the student left the lounge behind Ariston, he kept thinking, more determined than before, of how his meeting with Lewis would turn out... Exit. | |
