PERSONALITY: The shadow who claims a place among humans... He always loves a good meal. It's only desire that kept his going thus far... He tries to keep a cool, calm exterior. However, despite this, even if it seems like he has warmed up to you, please keep in mind that he is not a good person by the metric of any civilised society on the face of this planet. Well, he's not quite a "person," anyways, but... As for his thoughts on others... He likes to be around the relaxed, simple-minded sort. And inversely, he strongly hates people who confuse him or hold themselves as knowledgable on, or take seriously educational subjects, such as most scientific pursuits. This is because he is uneducated, and does not think they are real. He does not know what oxygen is, only understanding that breathing air is good. If you proclaim something to him about scientific, philosophical, or moral pursuits, anything that would be above the considerations of a 16th century wheat farmer, there is a good chance he will think you are stupid and begin wanting to kill you.

BACKGROUND: Shadows are born from the desires of man. They all share that fact. As for this shadow, it has the compulsion to fulfill one desire in particular over the rest. Cursed with the sin of gluttony, it craves food. The warm blood and flesh from other living creatures. And would you look at that? There's a whole city out there, filled with delicious snacks. You can't find bounty like that in Gehenna. And so, the shadow emigrates. Watch out!

It adopted the identity "Winter Melancholy," and began feeling a new desire... To find a place in this new society. After all, it was a much more fun place than that desolate wasteland. Most shadows are one-note, but people can be more entertaining... And they're weaker, too. Thusly... the shadow could do as it pleased in this realm. Who would stop it? After all... "He" already claimed his name, and walks among us. Wearing the face of a human, he can't be sussed out. He is confident in gap between him and humanity. Can you make a leap far enough to cross that gap?

BACKGROUND: Galloping across the night, this phantasmagoric haunt spreads terror and promise of ill omen to those who bear witness to it. Should its form greet your eyes, misfortune shall come your way. To whom do these wicked hunters give endless chase? To whom do they direct their thunderous gunfire? Cast away your curiosity. Close the blinds, and snuff out all lights. Should they come riding by, give them not a glance, lest you invite doom to your soul.
