| - Music (Title Spoils End in KH3):
The streets get crazier and crazier each day as time goes on. People come by to talk or cause trouble and leave soon after. The past week or so has been sort of a blur even though it felt as though it went on for ages. Part of their mind went to thinking about their mom, probably worried sick about where they went in that huge time; or maybe she moved on by this point. For some reason their father never crossed their mind tonight; often he had been especially during their more violent streaks. But thinking of Mom gave them pause as they wandered outside the downtown limits. Would she be disappointed, or hateful of them for leaving her? Nah, of course she wouldn't hate them knowing her, but she remembered the last thing they spoke about before they ran from home. It was a conversation of their future and what they would grow up in becoming. All the wanderer truly remembered was one particular line:"There's nothing more satisfying than completing a goal you set out to do. Just make sure you don't end up making that goal to eat all spaghetti in the world or bend the nearest pole. Think bigger! For the first time in a while they chuckled. They would never admit it to themselves, but their mom always remained a part of who they were even if it didn't always show. Without her, they may not have become who they were....then again they may not have run away if they didn't take after her...or was it cause they took after Dad? It was hard to tell anymore. The thought of returning to the old mountain town did pass through their consciousness, before shaking their head slowly. It was as if recently something rose in the pit of their stomach, aching to do something more than themselves. They had been fighting like a fool to accomplish...nothing to them anyway. Perhaps now it was time to start making something of themselves. When their thoughts ended, they were standing over a patch of grass, looking up at the night sky. They pulled their hat down to cover her eyes, and pulled a scarf over her mouth so that were anyone to look they would only see the unreadable eyes of a young woman, wanting something more. A hidden smile slowly grew under the scarf, borne not out of malice or greed, but out of excitement. Their hands clenched quietly into warm fists."Don't worry Mom. I have a goal in mind..." | |
