| Gabby was preoccupied with trying to find anything to fill her free time when her cell phone began to go off. The amount of people who had her number was less than a handful, and even them calling was far and few in between. She looked at the screen, seeing the word ‘NANA’ pop up. Without a moment’s hesitation, she opened the phone and began to speak, “Ni Sa Bula.” Her mother’s accent had gotten heavier again, “Seganaleqa. I’m doing just fine. I was actually going home. No. Tata hasn’t come home yet. I promise I’m holding up very well. Actually, I even made a few friends since we last spoke.” She went silent for a couple minutes, listening to her mother’s same old concerns, “I get it. Moce Nana au salako. I’ll talk to you later.” She hung up and put her phone back into her bag.
She looked up to see a clothing store in front of her. Clothing wasn’t her thing, but she could definitely use a new hat. Her current one was starting to get worn out. She went inside and began looking around for the area they were held. It soon occurred to her that this was not the place to find a new hat. All of the clothes were definitely meant for those with a more girly look. With her head held a little low, she went over to someone who worked there, “Excuse me. Where are the hats?” The woman looked at her with a puzzled expression and pointed in the opposite direction, “Thank you.” She walked over there and was instantly disappointed with the selection they had. Most of them weren’t even large enough to call hats. They looked more like hair accessories. She gave a small sigh and went back to looking through the store. Maybe there was something here so it wouldn’t seem like a waste of time. Not that she had anything else to do with her time.

| Daiki wasn’t a creeper for being in a woman’s clothing store. He just wanted to see what the latest fashion was. He was less than impressed with what was popular this season. He knew it was still winter, but long sleeves with dark and neutral colors did not look good on every woman. They could really use something more colorful to brighten up the world’s day. Yes. If every woman wore something that flattered them the already beautiful winter would also have a bit of glee to it. The thought made him down-right giddy with excitement. He would have to get on making something like that when he got home.
He was just about ready to leave the shop when he saw what looked like a little boy looking around the store. He was perplexed by the young man going through the racks of clothing, but not actually looking at a single article. Instead, the little blond decided on hats. Daiki could imagine one of those hats on a boy. The face wasn’t delicate enough to pull it off. He went up to the person with a concerned look on his face, “Excuse me. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this is a woman’s clothing store." He got a closer look at the person, “Then again, you look like you could pull it off. I would imagine your friends would mock you though. It’s not customary for little boys to wear women’s clothing. Or are you into that kind of thing?” It never occurred to him that it was actually a girl he was talking to.

| Gabby stared at the man who had come up to her. She lowered her head and hid her face. Was he really calling her a little boy? She knew she looked like one, but most people didn’t comment on it so bluntly. Who did this person think he was? She wasn’t a spiteful person, but this man was the exact kind she didn’t care for; rude, insulting, and invasive. She gave a small smirk and looked back up, “Well, at least I’m cute enough to get away with it? What about you, Mister? You’re also in a woman’s clothing store, even worse you approached a little boy and spoke to them about wearing women’s clothing. That seems fairly suspicious to me. Maybe I should call the cops.” She pulled one of the random dresses on the rack and held it in front of her, “How do you think I would look in this? Would it be cute or would it be too obvious that I’m cross-dressing?”
She put the dress back and began to walk away from the man. Could anyone be so rude? The way she walked didn’t show her irritation, instead just looking like she moved to a different location. She was still looking around though. There was no chance on Earth she was letting this guy bother her enough to leave before she had finished her goal.

| Daiki was taken aback by the boy’s statement. His reason for being here was a reasonable one, “I was just looking at this season’s fashion choices. To be honest, I’m very disappointed. I believe that light colors can cheer up a crowd that has been disheartened by the cold of a beautiful winter. Yet, places like these are obsessed with selling such darkly colored clothes. Maybe I’m not the exact same as the rest of the designers out there, but I think the idea could innovate the fashion world.” He looked at the dress the boy had taken off the rack. He closed his eyes to think, “In truth, you would look better in something else? Your skin is too delicate for such a harsh fabric and the color doesn’t go with your skin tone. If you wore something with frills around the bust, it could even hide the fact that you don’t have breasts.” When he opened his eyes again, the person had walked off. He quickly followed, “Little one, don’t be in such a rush. If you don’t look closely enough at the detail in the clothing you won’t find something that compliments your figure. It’s important that people present themselves the best they can. May I suggest you pick something in light blue? Stay away from the green if you can help it. Very few people can pull off green successfully.”
((OOC: Daiki thinks Gabby is a boy, so I refer to you as such. No offense.))

| She rolled her eyes at the man’s long winded speech. Did he know how to be quiet? Based on the short amount of time she had known him, it wasn’t likely. What was it about her that attracted all the loud ones, “Can you please just forget we met? I don’t need someone telling me how to dress.” Despite her words, she found herself blushing when he said that her skin was delicate. No one had ever said that about her before. Maybe he wasn’t completely bad. That’s what she thought, until he commented on her bust. Once again, she knew she wasn’t the most effeminate person in the world, but she was still a girl.
She inaudibly groaned when she noticed him following her, “Now you’re stalking me? I really think I will need to call the cops.” Even after trying to give him the hint that she didn’t want him around, he still kept speaking to her. Did he not understand anything not directly told to him? She grabbed something off a rack again. It was a steel grey shirt, “It I try this on, will you leave me alone?” If he said anything that sounded like a yes, she would hurry off to a changing room. If it was anything along the line of no, she would put the shirt back and try to drop another hint that she wanted him to go away.
ooc: (No problem. I did say she looked like a boy in her discription and I haven't corrected him yet)

| Daiki’s oblivious nature made him unable to understand the boy dropping hints. He shook his head at him, “I cannot just forget that we have met. My memory isn’t that bad. Meeting you was probably an act of fate, in the end? Or maybe it’s just good fortune.” He gave the boy a small smile, “If you believe in such things that is, and, to be honest, I do. Sort of. I think we met for a reason. Maybe it’s not clear yet, but someday it will be. Either way, it was my pleasure to meet you.” He took a quick glance at the shirt, “Gray is not your color.” A thought occurred to him in that moment. He went to the front desk and asked to borrow a pen and a piece of paper. He wrote down his number and gave them the pen back. He went back over to the young one and gave him the sheet of paper, “Nothing here really suits you at this time of year, so give me a call if you ever need something cute to wear. I’ll make you something all your friends will be jealous of. Be warned though, I specialize in the female ensemble not stuff for guys. Then again, we did meet here.” He shrugged, “Just give me a call whenever you need my services.” He gave the blond child a quick wave and left the store before anything else could be said.

| She put the shirt back on the rack, “I don’t believe in fate. It’s a silly thing to cling to. I prefer to believe in what I can see and what I know for certain.” Like this man was a complete… she didn’t actually know if there was a word for him. Was annoyance enough? Unlikely, “I also don’t believe that strangers should be telling me what I should wear.” She was filled with relief when she saw him finally walk away. She watched as he got a pen and paper and wrote something down. To her dismay, he then came back over. It was his number. He told her to call should she need an outfit. She was about to finally correct him about her sex, but he walked off before she could. So here was the moral of the story: strangers were loud and, well, strange, she looked too much like a boy, and her quest for a new hat was a complete failure. She gave a sigh, and, against her better judgement, put his number in her phone. It didn't hurt, at least.
