Appearance: Shoulder length, slightly disheveled black hair frames an almost statuesque face. His azure eyes can either be frigid like ice or clear as the sky, depending on his mood. At school Shouhei wears a pair of thick-framed rectangular glasses (in a pitiful attempt to make him appear more studious than he actually is). Standing slightly taller than the average Japanese man, his posture is usually slumped so that he doesn’t stand out as much. A fair tan sets his wiry frame, although his muscles are well toned. Always seen with either headphones or earbuds on his person as he jams to (mostly) idol music in his day to day life.

Alternate Appearance: The ideal biker uniform manifests itself when Shouhei releases his Persona. A reversed skull print adorns his entirely black helm, visor included. Tight black leather leads to red-padded gauntlets and knee pads. Steel plates cover pieces of the outfit, notably on the sides of the arms, legs, and crotch. Steel shinguards and steel-toed boots finish the look.

Alternate Appearance:

Personality: An asshole with a heart of silver (nobody’s perfect). To most students at the academy Shouhei comes off as a withdrawn slacker and a no good delinquent. This is partially true; for when he actually talks to someone he knows he is very informal and crass- his stilted vocabulary is known to be riddled with expletives. However he still tries to play off that he’s no longer a punk and attempts formality with those he doesn’t know, in an effort to be a meek and timid teen. Unfortunately his switch can easily be flipped with the slightest of provocations, reverting him to his more delinquent-like state. Usually he tries to keep it in check though.

Once people do get to know him, they’ll find a relatively simple-minded man. He does care about those close to him and is a steadfast friend with a skewed sense of humor (although by the way he talks it may at times seem like he’s disinterested in maintaining a friendship at all). Surprisingly enough he is also a hard worker- despite what most of his track record at the academy is- and is very committed to his tasks. Even though his part-time job has him talking to women he gets quite nervous around girls his age.

While he tries to avoid fights nowadays there’s nothing that excites Shouhei more than a scrap… or an idol performance.

The Background

History: It seems that nature closely followed nurture in regards to Shouhei’s life. His father was a low-ranking member of the Yakuza, whose deeds landed him in jail before Shouhei could even remember his face. That practically left his mother to raise him alone, picking up a a job as a hostess to make ends meet. All throughout his childhood he was constantly teased about his deadbeat father and promiscuous mother, leading the boy to constant fights.

If it weren’t for a childhood friend of his, Mariko, Shouhei would have been nonstop brawling. Her childhood dreams of becoming an idol superstar gave Shouhei an interest in something besides fisticuffs. Music, song, and dance awkwardly but strongly entwined in his daily affairs. This trend continued well on through their lives with Mariko eventually convincing Shouhei to take singing and dancing classes with her.

However that didn’t stop Shouhei from other pursuits. Being a part of a bosozoku (biker) gang seemed to fit a bit better with the brawling lifestyle. Eventually Shouhei rose through the ranks and became a rather terrifying boss of his own, becoming somewhat notorious. A dreadful incident would soon follow after this supposed lofty achievement…

...Which would eventually lead Shouhei to moving to where he is today. A chance to study in America under a scholarship for singing was a miracle beyond miracles. He has retired from his leadership of a biker gang (but still clearly rides his motorcycle around the city and for his courier job). He does his damnedest not to get into any fights. In a totally unexpected chance encounter he was offered a position at a host club and actually managed to draw clientele interested in him (his singing and dancing practice certainly helped).

In all of his efforts to busy himself from the life he used to live, it has taken its own toll on him. Due to the jobs and drinking, he has been showing up late to class or even skipping it. Some days he would have a hangover and snore through a session or two. The fact that students would see him ride a motorcycle around town and frequent a host club just gave rise to a different perception of the former delinquent, and transform him into a disgusting no good creature of the night. If students knew he even attended Music Club for singing it’d be a shock, that’s for certain.

But he still sings and dances for Mariko.

Looks fine to me but with one exception.

Strengths/Weaknesses are balanced enough but for Had Too Much to Drink is this effectiveness on yourself or when you use them? Like does a Medicine heal 15% less to you or do the Medicines you use heal 15% less period no matter the person? I'm assuming the former but just to be clear.

You're right, the former. Any med used on him alone has its efficacy reduced by 15%. Edited accordingly.

Everything's fine. But you sure you don't want to go into any detail of his background when the Eternal Divide hit? Also it's just me, but might want to get a real alias. That's what's going to be used to refer you when you go around doing Psyche-Terrorist stuff. My suggestion is Motorhead. But up to you.

I'm fine with everything but understand that your "Dex twice in one attack" strength only applies to Soulbound weapons, not guns or Soul Skills.

If we're good with that I can approve you.
