Appearance:

Add is a slender young man weighing 76kg and standing tall at about 188cm. His skin isn’t tan, but he isn’t exactly pale. It’s somewhere in between, but a bit closer to pale. His hair is fairly long and wavy, reaching below his shoulder blades. Add can be mostly seen with a ponytail with a fringe and some loose bangs on sides of his fringe. His hair’s hue is white mixed with light violet. More notable things on his head is a bright pink vertical line on left side of his face. It starts on his forehead, goes over his eyelid, goes a bit horizontal on his cheek and continues straight down to his chin. Add’s eyes are also quite notable. They are pink, just like the line on his face, but instead of normal irises he has power switch symbols.

Since Add is quite rich, he has money to spend on his clothes and accessories. As a result, he wears some pretty fancy stuff. He really likes white, purple and pink and it reflects on his wardrobe. His usual attire consists of: snow white coat with a hood that has cat ears and has gold trim, equally white shirt with long sleeves, white gloves, long white pants and white shoes. His coat and shirt have gold buttons on collar and sleeves. He can be also seen wearing a purple waistcoat with black trim and silver buttons on his shirt and a black tie with a fake amethyst in it. His shoes have both gold buttons and fake amethysts. In addition, he always keeps the unknown device he got years ago in the room where he was waiting with him, usually on his coat.

Besides his usual, he likes to wear skinny jeans, loose t-shirts, shirts and sneakers. In Add’s wardrobe you won’t find any kinds of hats. For some reason he just doesn’t like them and only uses his hood if he needs to cover his hair from rain or hide his face. There’s a very slim chance that you’ll see him in shorts, even in summer, since he doesn’t like the idea of revealing his body to public.

Personality:

Even though Add looks like a fine gentleman, his personality is somewhat off. He tends to be honest, but isn’t afraid to lie or use more expressive words. His words may sometimes sound a bit too harsh, but that’s just the way he is. Looking at the facts first, then seeing what heart and brain suggest, choose the better alternative. All in all, Add isn’t bad or good in any regard. He’s seeking revenge for everything that has been done to him, and when he’s done doing that, he’d like to own a restaurant.

There are few things about him, though, that make interactions between him and people a bit more complicated. Since his past is what it is, his mind is very unstable as a result. He often wakes up in the middle of the night from nightmares that keep repeating over and over again, which makes him sleep only when he is close to passing out. He hates the nightmares so much he drinks coffee and tea fairly often, just so he would last longer without sleep. Besides the nightmares, he also can turn into a state of madness. If there’s nobody to keep him sane, he may unintentionally hurt people around him.

Add has more pain in his heart than happiness, but there are things that do make him quite happy. He really likes doing chores and cooking, but above all, he loves sweets. Especially chocolate. Want a favor from him? Bring a bar of chocolate and he’s your man.

During the time Add was a subject, his face got changed a fair bit. Because of this, he usually avoids eye contact, even though it may seem impolite of him.

Strengths:

—Strength Name: I can fix it!
—Description: Since Add’s brain and eye were enhanced in terms of knowledge about technology and electronics, he decided to use it as a sort of source of little income. Add can fix almost any electronic appliance. He knows how to do his tasks efficiently and not get dirty in the process.

—Strength Name: MasterMind
—Description: The power that was bestowed upon Add while he was a test subject made a special connection to the Shadow. This link between his mind and Shadow makes the combat Dynamo pieces be able to levitate behind his back and be controlled by Add’s mind. He knows that it’s not common for people to see things float on their own, so he keeps them on his coat in addition to the other pieces.

—Strength Name: Neat
—Description: Even though Add is a man, he actually likes doing the chores and he does them fast. He knows how to do his laundry, iron his clothes, etc. with ease. The chores are one of few things that make Add happy. He’d make a great househusband.

—Strength Name: Computer whizz
—Description: Add is more advanced in technology overall, but his primary focus is on computers. He knows how to hack properly, but hacking has already gotten him rich enough to last him a lifetime, so he doesn’t intend to do it again. He won’t willingly hack again, but if he feels threatened, he will do it as a last resort sorta thing. Add is able to operate two computers at once, which makes it easy for him to play games that require co-op. Also, if there’s anything wrong with your computer, laptop, tablet or anything of sorts, Add will surely be able to help… For a small fee.

—Strength Name: Natural cook
—Description: One wouldn’t probably say so, but Add is a great cook. He can easily whip out even more expensive meals with little to no trouble. He naturally knows what flavors to combine to create something delicious. Add’s secret dream is to own a restaurant and cook in the kitchen himself.

Weaknesses:

—Weakness Name: Mr. Clean
—Description: Add himself doesn’t know why, but he likes his things tidy, clean and in order. This even applies to his body aswell - showering every morning, etc., since he hates being all sweaty and smelly. He cares about himself, dearly, especially his hair. He hates dirt and dirty people alike, who make him wanna vomit. Add can easily can get angry about somebody accidentally staining his favourite shoes.

—Weakness Name: Lord of sweets
—Description: Doesn’t seem like a weakness now, does it? But this little secret is the key in order to make Add act friendlier. He absolutely loves chocolate - any kind: melted, hot choco, simple choco bar, etc. - above all else and sometimes he even accepts it as payment for his simple jobs. Besides chocolate itself, he just likes sweets in general. Add also likes stuff coffee and tea aswell, though they have to be extra-sweet.

—Weakness Name: Afraid of ghosts
—Description: Simple enough, Add is afraid of ghosts. He just doesn’t like the idea of something being there and him not being able to see it. Ghost stories are completely off-limits. Maybe is it because he thinks his family is haunting him…?

—Weakness Name: Distorted past
—Description: As his past in general wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, he really detests talking about it. Not to mention that most of his memory is missing, too hazy to comprehend, or simply Add himself not wanting to remember any more than he does now.

—Weakness Name: Unstable matter
—Description: Witnessing the horrors of his family burning before his eyes and spending most of his childhood in isolation as a test subject marked Add quite well. He often wakes up due to nightmares and sometimes just suddenly a flashback to those moments appears, triggering a madness rush. In such state his eyes appear to be devoid of any emotion, just like the rest of his body, save for an ominous grin. He also tends to mumble things like: “I’ll kill you..”. Be warned, though. Do not approach him, just try to talk to him. Otherwise you risk him snapping, giving in to the madness.

Shadow Weapon:

Shadow Weapon Name: Dynamo
Shadow Weapon Description: Add’s Shadow appears as a 12 piece Dynamo, however, only 6 are capable of combat. Add keeps the other 6 pieces as decorations on his clothes, but still can be somewhat controlled. A Dynamo piece is shaped like a thin refined diamond with longer bottom side (longer side is roughly 17cm, short about 7cm). Core of a combat Dynamo piece fits into Add’s hand quite well, with few cm off at the bottom, sticking out. In the middle of bigger section there’s apower switch symbol, the same as Add’s irises. Decorative pieces are similar to combat ones. The middle has a small indentation that copies the shape of the piece. Decorative pieces’ bottom parts also vary in sizes, but the difference has only esthetic purposes. Add’s combat style consists of using the Dynamo to empower his otherwise weak kicks. He can also command them with his mind to twirl around him, striking anybody who stands within a step from Add.

The Background

History:

Add can’t remember who he is. He has no idea where he comes from. What his real name is. Not that it matters anymore.

His earliest memory that is one of the sharpest ones is him seeing his house burning, with his family screaming inside, roasting like chestnuts. He remembers screaming himself until his throat gave out, then screaming some more. All while he was being dragged away. Away from his life filled with happiness and joy, that was never meant to be. He didn’t know how much time passed. His next more comprehensible memory is that on 2nd January the scientists came to talk to him. Said they have a present, since it was his 9th birthday. Naturally, he perked up. He was a naive little kid. Believed they had actual presents. Oh, how he was wrong. He felt himself restrained, dragged. Immense pain ensued. When he regained consciousness he was at the same place where they picked him up from. As he shakily sat up, he noticed something rather strange. He felt… smarter. As if reacting to him awakening, he heard something clank on the ground. The young boy turned around to see a number of bizarre objects floating in front of him. 6 were floating, 6 were just casually laying on the ground. He was curious about what exactly were they, when a raspy voice interrupted that thought.

“Congratulations, young boy. You are the first who survived the weapon fusion and our new enhancement. Your life is now connected to the thing floating about and bound to us. We can see your potential and hope that you will be willing to cooperate with us. If not, we have our ways.”

With this, the message ended. Add had no idea what the voice was asking him to do. But he did have a really bad feeling about it. That feeling was well-justified. His next few hazy memories are just filled with pain. He remembers sneaking out several times, exploring small bits of the facility. He learned how to float on the pieces to avoid being heard and caught red-handed. The boy found various rooms with other kids in them, various machines, but also some sorts of containers filled with black sludge. He was too scared to approach any of these things, even when the rooms were empty. However, even though he was sure that he has never seen any of the machines before in his life, he knew their purpose, how they worked.

After a large blank space in Add’s memory he can remember him standing in front of a large computer. The kind you would see in cartoons. He was pressing the keys furiously, subconsciously knowing what he had to do. As he looked up at the screen he could see numbers transferring from one side to another. He looked back down. A torn piece of paper was on the left of his right arm with strings of numbers written on it. He knew that that night is the night when he had to use his power of knowledge, so he hacked into the system and with the information he gathered during the years of being a subject. His mission was clear - hack into the back accounts and transfer money from them to the one he somewhat stole. He had the card laying near the paper. However, as he finished the last transfer, he could hear people running down the corridor, yelling something about Shadows. Add wasn’t planning on such an event to happen. The men didn’t seem to be concerned about him, but rather about the supposed mini-disaster happening somewhere else. He knew that he won’t get a second chance.

Several more men ran past the room where Add was holed up, waiting for an opportunity. He had everything he needed already with him - the card, paper, some unknown device he found while waiting and most importantly - the Dynamo. Making sure nobody was in the corridor, he ran. And ran. And ran, until he was out of the facility, tripping over his own feet at times. He couldn’t remember the last time he was outside… But there was no time for that. He ran even more. After arriving to a city, it was hard. But he made sure to make himself a new ID and bank account. He threw the old card into trash without any second thoughts. He discovered that we was held in Japan, however, he knew that he can’t stay long. Sooner or later they would go after him, since he pretty much stole all their money. Thus, he decided to travel a bit, but he never really settled down. After turning 20, two years after his escape, he knew that he’ll just have to find a quiet place and lay low instead of running around. With this idea in mind, Add arrives in the Azores region, hoping to start anew...
