To Love and Health [Phoebe's Awakening]

Thankfully it was over so soon. Before anyone could actually get hurt. The knife disappeared from the older woman's grasp, and two thrhee-foot lengths of what appeared to be dark-orange cloth slid out from her lower back. These lengths of cloth would begin to fan out slowly, poking out of her back as they became rigid. Thankfully Nightingale took the speaking role for now, giving Veritas a moment to cool off, figuratively and literally.

Good thing Nightingale was good with words too, there wasn't really anything that needed to be said beyond what she did. The woman took a step closer to the newly-awakened girl, looking at her, though not saying anything. Her mind raced, plenty of emotions warring for superiority. Just like that, another child was a criminal in the eyes of the government, and for what crime? She shook her head slightly at thought, her mouth twsitng into a disgusted grimace behind her unmoving mask.

But then the other fell to her knees, and the woman rushed to her side, putting her hands on Pheboe's shoulders. The girl would come to find the grasp of the woman's left hand quite warm, almost uncomfortably so, but not painful. "Is something wrong?" She would ask, the unfeleing mask upon hr face failing to convey the look of concern she wore as she scanned the girl up and down looking for some injury that might have gone unnoticed.

Her gaze then shifted from the young girl, to Nightingale. "I'm staying. I... Know this girl. Kinda." She then looked back at the young girl. I want to make sure she gets back to safety. My apartment isn't far from here, if any of you need a place to stay for the night." Veritas would sweep her gaze across the group with her last words.

Unison looked at the other two and she only looked at the girl seemed to have an issue, and the older wanted to make sure she as okay, in her mind Nola missed that feeling of someone else caring that much, genuinely worrying that much, and she had to fight the urge to take over and agree to help them, but at the same time Unison understood that the girl was one of them now, whether she wanted to be or not she was...she would need to eventually be told what that meant. "We will go with you..." she said simply though it would mean changing back she would have to do so to travel safely...well somewhat safely...

Phoebe had recovered a bit as these new people had gotten her to safety outside of the alleyways. She still was confused as to what was going on, but she felt something she didn't expect. A weight on her shoulders for the moment off-- a feeling of happiness to hear that some force... within her or outside of her wished for her to keep moving forward with her life, and not accept death there and then.

She was quiet for a moment, as these new people were before her. She didn't know who, but she could just tell they were nice people. They saved her from demons after all.

She sat there with a softdrink in her hands, grape juice-- her favorite as she tried to process just what happened to her. It didn't matter she was in her hospital pajamas. She just was grateful to be safe. "Thank you for saving me..." she said with a nod. "I really am not sure how this happened but... "

She hesitated then. She knew they heard her persona's voice too and the 'conversation' between them. Her talk about death and surgery... they knew now. "I guess I owe you an explanation, huh? I-I don't mind if you want me to explain its just ... what my Persona said, or rather what happened, had really strong reasons. I really am not sure where to start. "
