| With Gabe joining the hunt in order to somewhat find his way into acquiring a new ally for the platinum playhouse. It seemed that there was a hit being placed on Ronin, which made her a high target and exposed to dangerous circumstances that could very well take her life. But unfortunately for her, Gabe valued the members of the playhouse as the pillars of the foundation. He expected great things from them, and he needed everyone in order for them to succeed.
Thieves were the best way to see if he could get some information regarding ronin and low time crimes were the only things that police were able to handle. Due to Gabe's own experience with the police station, whether getting a small summons for his park performance when he was younger, or spending money to go on those ride alongs with Luther, he tried to build a friendly rapport in regards to that.
The plan here was to see if there were any thieves already in a cell for the time being or just about to leave. With those opportunities, Gabe would either offer to pay the bail under the guise of acquaintance or approach them as they leave. It was even better in the afternoon if it was something minor enough that the police couldn't be bothered to hold them all day to save space. It's just a matter of being around long enough to see whose who.

| Exactly as Gabe expected it to be the Endymion Police Station wasn't as busy as one would expect. With the Psyche Terrorists causing the biggest disturbances and Class Zero Cadets investigating those disturbances a good amount of work was outside of their jurisdiction. Not to say that they didn't have their hands full, the station was still filled with officers of the law humming about and taking care of the myriad of other crimes in Endymion, no matter how big or small. From petty larceny and loitering to domestic abuse and crimes of passion each offense still needed to be investigated. It's not as if just because a bunch of costumed weirdos with superpowers were running amok that John Doe from down the road would consider not driving under the influence and getting into an accident. A very bored-looking police corporal sat behind bulletproof glass in the main entryway, pecking away swiftly at the keyboard before him. Though he may have looked as if he barely acknowledge Gabe's presence his body language told another story. Couldn't just let anyone into the police station without a proper check, you know. | |

| Gabe kept a bit of an eye out, looking around to see if he found the right person that he could possibly use for his own ends. He didn't know much about Ronin, but if she was able to make enemies that would even have a fellow terrorist worried about her, she's probably not doing it right. Either way, Gabe felt like he had to work fast, and the best way to do so was to comply and probably finesse his way around a few things.
"I'm here to make someone's bail, a troubled individual whose association I would rather keep private. However, being stuck in the system is a lot worse off for individuals who would turn over a new leaf if given the chance. It might be unfortunate for you to hear a member of society say such things, but I am an avid believer of that. But, I'm wondering if they are actually there?"
Gabe would say as he would flash his ID. Gabe had no real plan, it was a gamble itself if he could possibly find the right type of person. In addition to that, there is also the probability of them playing along.

| The police officer scratched his arm. Guy had the talk of a lawyer. Or a mobster. They were all the same anyway, at least in that shiftiness they had about'em. Besides, as long as he wasn't doing anything blatantly illegal it wasn't any of his business how shady someone wanted to be. Couldn't arrest people for acting like they cared about punks or thugs. Rules were rules and as long as they were followed the whole machine ran smooth. "Sure thing, pal. But I'm gonna need a name to look'em up in the system."QAS Initiated!

| "A name? Well, unfortunately, any kind of thief down on their luck would be somewhat of a john doe. Regardless of what you ask of them, if the excuse is somewhere along the lines of them losing their own wallet while stealing, not having any id, or giving you a ridiculous name because they expect to squat here for a few days and walk out because people with higher offenses will come through and you'll need the space for thus said, criminals. So let's just say that it was a person who recently fitted a description that you had a bit trouble identifying. At the same time, bond procedures... if a court date isn't involved, is distributed among courts and law enforcement. Luckily for you, that's mostly Endymion police and can be considered as a win-win situation via donation in exchange for the freedom of what you might call "scum" or "troubled youth. ""
Gabe was answering, but he really wasn't. The hope was to somewhat swoon the officer into going through with this without calling too much suspicion to himself.
"I know they are there, I've come to collect them. I don't mind pointing them out to expedite the process, but i'm sure you would want to get this over with as much as I would. Gender is initially ambiguous due to the clothes, somewhat baggy, average build..."

| The officer blinked. Yep. Definitely a lawyer. Or a mobster. They were always the ones that were so tight-lipped about the criminals in this city, for anyone else it would be rather routine but when politics entered the picture that's when things became muddled. But it's not as if that was any of his problem, as long as everyone followed the proper procedure it didn't really matter who was seeing who. Especially if it was going to make his life difficult. Man, he sure liked to talk a lot. "Alright, alright. I can take you back to check around. Take everything out of your pockets and put'em in the bin before you go through the scanner. You'll get everything that isn't dangerous back on the other side. No blades, no incendiary devices. If you got a lighter you're losin' it."Assuming that Gabe would comply the officer would escort him back to the holding cells of the jail. There were only 3 in this area for non-dangerous criminals, just enough to keep anyone long enough until they could be processed by the state. Only one was occupied by a single individual. The officer stopped before the cell to be stared at by a young... person with a look of ire. ".....................""This your guy? If you wanna talk to'im in private I'm gonna have to lock you in. Otherwise I gotta stand here to make sure everything's kosher, but if you're just postin' bail then we shouldn't need any of that. Bail's already been set for aggravated assault." QAS Initiated!

| "Sure thing...." Gabe released all of his belongings that would be conceived as a threat to the officer or maybe be seen as a violation of the terms of agreement when it came to visiting the person that Gabe was expecting to be the right person for him to meet. Gabe observed the look of the person and hummed to himself as he requested to be locked in with the lad. "Mind if i speak with them in private?"It was the choice that he made, Gabe wasn't afraid of a little violence and felt that he could possibly make this trip worthwhile for the both of them. Once Gabe was locked in, he started to introduce himself. "I'm Gabriel Gatsby, you may call it fate if you want, but i'm here to make your visit here with the police as short as this conversation that we are going to have? Are you interested in freedom?" | |

| "Not a problem." The officer took a set of keys from his belt and flipped through, opening the cell with a winding clang only to close and lock it behind the man. "Just stick your arm out and wave to the camera when you're done. I'll send someone to let you back out." And with that the officer would make the lonely walk down the hallway and back to his desk, leaving Gabe in prison with a potentially dangerous criminal. A small, young criminal, but still. The young... man? Looked Gabe up and down, unmoving from his hunched position at his seat and glowering to him just as he did the officer. "So what? Did the shingiin send you? Or are you just some prick lawyer? I don't have any cash, you're wasting your time." | |

| "Shingiin? On the contrary, no one sent me. I just happen to be at the right place at the right time, and you don't need to have any money to get yourself out of here, we can consider this as a simple exchange. You seem to know your way around the streets or anything of the sort. It's quite the assumption I admit, but i'm looking for information by someone that goes by the moniker of "Ronin", does that ring a bell for you?"
He studied the younger's face, wondering if it would prompt for a reaction of any kind.

| "You don't know anything about me, you can assume what you want," the young man huffed as he stared daggers at Gabe. But what he said did get a rise from the young man. His eyes widened for a split second before narrowing and he folded his arms. "Maybe I know something, maybe I don't. I'm in jail so I gotta be stupid to be here. You're askin' the wrong person." The young man chewed his tongue as he pouted at the taller man, furrowing his brow in thought. As if weighing his options. "...so you're tellin' me if I tell you somethin' you wanna hear you're gonna get me out. S'at right?" | |

| "I don't, which is why i'm apologizing ahead of time if I made a mistake of some sort. I wasn't trying to insult you with the current assumption, but results need to be gathered and i'm a man of little time on his hands."
It was crucial that Gabe found this woman for the sake of the platinum playhouse. If she could become a viable asset to him and the group, she was worth saving out of any danger that she managed to get herself in. Gabe was currently putting his name and reputation on the line of the man he represents during the day, all for the sake of getting the information he needed.
"Yes, if you have some information that i could use, i'll pay your bail. "

| "Okay then. Shake on it. So that I know that you mean it." The young man extended his arm with a fiery look to Gabriel. Your word was your bond in this business, so if you're gonna do business it better come with a guarantee. QAS Initiated!

| "No tricks my friend, just business..."
Gabe would then offer his hand to shake. He had no real reason to think that the kid would pull something. Then again, he did get in here due to aggravated assault.
What's the worst that could happen?

| "Okay." The kid would grasp Gabe's hand and grip it firmly, staring at him intensely as he did so. He shook on it, so that meant that he promised. He better damn well get him outside of bars. The young man retreated and looked away pensively for a moment, chewing on his tongue. "......so maybe I know somethin'," he began. "Ronin is the name of some pickpocket that likes to run around Little Tokyo, taking what she wants. She doesn't care about anyone there, just what she can get her hands on. But she's got powers, we all know that. She pissed off the family so they hired a guy to take her out, a guy named Headhunter. He's got powers too and he deals with problem people like that as far as I know. But I wasn't gonna wait around for him to do a job that I can do myself. I was walkin' 'round the strip lookin' for them scummy thieves and I found one and clocked'er straight in the jaw, it's what the oyabun would've wanted. Then I got pulled off by the feds and they locked me up for fightin'." The young man tossed his hair and huffed. "She's always there and always a problem, y'know? We can't have uppity pickpockets movin' in on our territory and takin' money from honest folk, we said we'd protect'em. That's what I know. Ya happy? Can I get outta here now?" | |

| Much to his pleasure, the young man didn't try anything and ended up making good on his bargain. It seemed that the handshake was rather sacred to those of the Yakuza, assuming that this man was one of the Yakuza. He listened to the story of Ronin and her kleptomaniac issues that brought her into this mess. Apparently, they knew that she had some powers and they ended up sending someone who had powers as well, someone who was called the "headhunter."
It wasn't much to work on, but he understood why the Yakuza was after her, as well as the name of the person they were after him.
"Sure, a deal is a deal!"
Waving at the camera, Gabe was trying to call the guard over.
"I'll pay his bail."
