Paint It Red [Israel's Awakening]

Israel's head hurt as he came down from his overdose. The pounding of his blood settled, as sweat dripped from his brow. Adrenaline still pumped from his body, leaving him yearning for more. He hadn't felt that way in a long way. He felt it would become an addiction. Iz looked at the dead man's body, concerned. He wanted to call the police, but they'd almost immediately suspect Israel himself.

Iz hefted his bag onto his shoulder, and stepped onto his skateboard. Somebody would find the dead man, in time. It still felt wrong, though. Almost as if he was disrespecting his memory by leaving him to decay in the alleyway. Iz grabbed the man's arm, and dragged him to the center of the alleyway, so that somebody could see him easier. He tried not to get any blood from the man's slashed throat on his arm.

Israel sighed, kicking away on his new skateboard.
