Traeh's Awakening

Well, today started like any other... Kinda dull. Traeh had just been sitting around at home for most of the day and decided to make a change of it. She would head back in the direction of the park she had made quite fond of visiting, by this point she could actually find her way there without getting lost... Too badly. She wondered if anyone she knew would be there again like last time, it would at least give her something to do...

Finally locating the park once again and entering, she would first look around to see who was there, at first glace it seemed like no one, either no one or the sun was in her eyes too much to make out anyone... She would go and sit down by the statue that made its home there, at least he could provide somewhat silent company. Today had just been such a drag for her... It was as if something was darkening her mood on purpose... At this point she would accept anything to do for entertainment.

What a day... Walking though the park like this was... Tranquil, in a way. A nice change of pace from the busy streets of San Malarus... The sun was shining, the birds chirping, a gentle spring breeze played with her pink hair. Yes, this was a good day... so why couldn't she shake this feeling that something was going to go wrong? Maybe it was just the fact that Malstu had just been corrupted like the school had been that put Mae on edge. What if San Malarus met the same fate...? She would of course fight to return it back to normal... Too many of her friends and loved ones lived there, and she could not stand seeing anyone of them getting hurt. She was going to get back at the Primordials for this... Eventually...

While she was lost in thought, Mae was dragged back to reality by a familiar face sitting by a peculiar looking statue... She seemed... worried about something as well... If not restless... Tia wasn't with her today. A shame too, since Mae really liked the little puppy. But considering what was going to take place here in a couple of moments... Perhaps things were better off this way...

"Hey, Traeh!" Mae said happily, approaching her friend with a broad smile upon her face. "Mind if I?" She made a gesture towards the seat next to Traeh, wanting to take a seat. Hopefully her friend had been doing well...

"STATUE! YOUR DAY OF RECKONING HAS COME!" Jack shouted as he charged towards the statue that so vexed his very existence. Today was the day. The day that Jack finaly beat that god forsaken hunk of rock at a contest! Jack's plan was fool proof! He would do battle with the statue in... Hop Scotch! When Jack arived on the scene he pulled his trusty chalk from his back pocket and began to sketch the outline of his victory on the cement.

"Today's the day you piece of shit! I'm going to take you down! Then I'll be the champion of the world! And you'll be the hunk of rock, that birds POOP ON! AHAHAHAHAH...Ahaha...ah... ha... oh... Hey there... Traeh... Mae... Fancy... uh... Fancy meeting you guys here... ehe...." Jack would flush a deep red from embarrassment as he looked up from his crouched position to see his two friends no doubt looking at him funny...

Nozomi happened to be walking through the park that day. He had just finished his rendevous with Akina after parting ways with her as well. Nozomi couldn't focus that day. The sun was shining. The birds was singing. He could have sworn this was a scripted scene in a movie or something.

He just couldn't...Focus today. As if there was this weird feeling in the pit of his gut that he couldnt shake off. Nozi's thoughts were scattered and really. He just kept walking with his mp3 blasting burn my dread into his ears. That's when he noticed the unusual sight of!!!


....Jack crouched over drawing some board near the Statue in the park.

He didnt get why Jack the Red Ranger was doing it.

Hey uh...Jack what are you doing?Said Nozomi kinda confused. He overheard Jack muttering some other stuff as he took off his headphones.

Nozomi also noticed Jack with two other unfamiliar girls. Eh,He couldn't focus straight enough to ask.

She had been sitting around alone for some time now, how long she wasn't quite sure, she hadn't been trying to keep track and was just enjoying the basking sun. She had closed her eyes and almost fallen asleep as a sudden voice awoke her. Looking around to the direction of the voice dozily, oh! It was Mae! Oh, Hia Mae!" She'd begin stretching out her arms and legs. "Yeah sure, by all means, take a seat."

The two would talk for a short while before being distracted by another, more... Interesting entrance. Jack had managed to run in shouting and blerting out some random things still looking for a way to defeat his solidified rival. He was in such a rush that he wouldn't even notice herself and Mae were there at first, the two just watched him unwilling to make a sound, it was too funny to watch why end it now? Although, he did finally realise, and was very embarrassed by the whole thing. "Hia, Jack. See your taking up the Hopscotch idea." She'd smile to him jokingly. "So how've you been?"

As for the last fellow who was at the scene, due to his positioning Jack was obscuring the guy who was also trying to attract Jacks attention. Although, even if she did, she had no idea who the guy was anyway so probably wouldn't of taken much notice anyway.

"Huh? What's going on? Traeh, Are you okay?!" This wasn't looking good at all... "Jack! What are you doing here? What's going on?!" Was this another mass awakening? No... Something was different about this... But what exactly?


"Why now?!" This was not what she wanted. Traeh shouldn't be dragged into this mess... Not much she could do about it now, except fight whatever was coming their way, protecting her friends with her life...

"O-Oh! Hey Nozomi... Glad to see you're here to... I'm just... Trying to use alchemy for human transmutation? Yeah... that thing that I totally didn't just say cus I'm drawing a hopschotch thingy on the ground... So how are you guys?..." Jack would feel a wave of awkwardness wash over him as he let out a pained and slightly strained laugh... Great... Now he felt self conscious. Huh... self consciousness felt a LOT like the oppressive air of shadows, looked like it to.

...wait...

"Shit...." Without a second thought Jack scrambled to his feet pulling his morpher out of his pocket and strapping it to his wrist. "This is just like... Nozomi! Take Traeh and run!" Jack would turn to Traeh and shoot her a worried look. "Trust me. You don't want to be here. Nozomi's an ok guy! I'm sure he'll take care of you. Mae!" Jack turned to stand next to his Pink Ranger and prepared for the worst. "I don't know how the hell they got here... But let's take care of this!"

"Be aware Red Ranger... They come..."

Nozomi had this bad feeling of the pit of his stomach forming for some reason. Man it was just like when he felt it and Jack n Quinn had to save his ass.

Nozomi... They come....Said Rakshasa from within.

Who's they?Thought Nozomi to himself,Wait he realized "they" were the same things that fought him when he got his persona.

Traeh!I dont know you but get behind us!Something's aboutta happen!Just trust me ok!?Said Nozomi. He kinda didnt want to flee. Not now. There was finally some action for once.

A sudden dark feeling overwhelmed her. She had never experienced something like this before... What was it, it was painful to say the least, it pounded on her very skull as if someone trapped inside was rampaging to break free. Everything around her was going hazy, was that fog...? Or was she just losing her mind... Doubling over and clutching her head she could of never foretold what was about to happen next. This wasn't quite what she had in mind when she asked for anything to pass the time...

Staring around at the others they all seemed in a panic too, were some of them trying to tell her something? She couldn't tell, her mind wasn't able to comprehend outside sounds, all that could be heard was a ringing in her ears and a distant voice from within breaking out closer and closer with each passing second. Traeh had never heard the voice before... Yet it sounded like someone she had known all her life, someone willing to protect her and do anything for her. They were calling to her to "Set us free..."

"You creeps! Stay away from Traeh, or I'll make you pay! Let's go, Qilin!" Mae summoned her Soulbound weapon, and quickly cut the Magician Card in half, summoning her persona.


Qilin leapt forth, raining down a large cascade of blue flames over the shadows, incinerating those unfortunate enough to be in the way. "Let's take em out! If you are in need of healing, let me know, and I'll cover you!"

"Right behind you Mae! It's Morphen ti-eh..." Jack looked back at Traeh... he can't morph infront of her... it would blow what little cover he had left. "Damn... Guess this'll have to be a civilian fight... Ready Golem!?" Jack summoned both his Soulbound and his Tarot Card. He tosed his card into the air and smashed it with a firm headbutt"Golem! Take em out!"

"As you comand!" Shouted Golem bursting forth from Jack's mind and towards the group of shadows.

Still with her head clasped between her hands, Traeh raised her head to catch a glimpse of what was happening before her. What caught her eyes she couldn't believe. The purple haze of fog had shrouded everything around them and leaving almost no visibility beyond a couple metres, and what lurked in the fog could only be described as monstrosities, she wanted to scream... But no voice would come out. It was at this point she would notice her friends calling forth their own creatures, what the hell was going on! This couldn't be real... She must've just fell asleep whilst lying at the statue... That's what makes the most sense, it's just a dream...

Traeh had put full faith in the fact this was merely a dream, which although wasn't true, helped her brace herself and gain back some confidence. Let's just let whatever happens happen, let's do this! Throughout all of this the voices in her head were still growing louder and louder, without having to think of what she was doing, she knew what to do. Reaching for her silver wolf-heart necklace, she'd call out. "Romulus! Remus! I call forth for your protection!" As she cried this her necklace would start glowing a light blue colour. "As you command, master!" The larger of the two would cry as it leapt from within the necklace to reality. "Your will is our command!" The other would call following the first out of the heart shaped hole the necklace formed. The two wolf guardians stood before her as a great wave of confidence and power shone from within.
