Stars Aligning [Afternoon; Frog x Adrian]

On a day like any other, Frog was forced into slave labo- carrying duty for some fencing gear for the team. Carry shit, pick up shit, do shit.
It was the same as walking a dog, with all the shit.

"Why am I even made to do this, I'm not even a member of the team. Damned be Lui." He grumbled as he walked with a couple swords and suits in tow. The storage at the club room had to be cleaned up so all of them agreed to carry some load over to a temporary storage in one of the classrooms that currently wasn't in use. At least he didn't have to carry all the stuff on his own, but it was still pretty annoying.

To a casual observer, the scene would play out as follows; a buncha guys one after another, with intervals of a couple minutes between themselves, walked up and down the stairs around the school, carrying old fencing gear when going up, and not carrying anything when going back down.

Cue your entrance.

For most people, after school was a time to either hang out with friends, or go take part in their clubs. For Adrian, this wasn't exactly the coin that could be flipped. For him, it was to either go out and try to find friends, or to go home.

The side that it had landed on today? Try to find friends. To that end..he had kind of been wandering the halls of Seven Stars. Or at least, the halls of the building he was allowed to be in.

For a while, he had actually not really done much. He'd found himself instinctively walking towards the Kendo Club room..but it was empty when he looked inside of it. Not much of a surprise, really. As far as he had known, the Kendo Club was on its last legs even when he had been a member.

Honestly, that had really been the only club he'd been interested in, and he had been forced to drop it recently in order to actively focus on his schoolwork.

As such, he had only snapped back to attention once he heard the complaints of some people, along with the clattering sound of..what sounded like some kind of armor, and the sound of the main doors opening and closing. A turn of a corner, and lo and behold. There was a slew of people carrying fencing gear. That made Adrian raise an eyebrow.

Had he just not been paying attention? He could have sworn the Kendo Club had been the only combat centric club that this school had.

So with his curiosity piqued, Adrian walked out of the main entrance of Seven Stars, only to watch as someone grumbled something as they walked past him. "What, not a fan of helping people out?"

He asked, the tone of his question being fairly jovial and teasing. He had been looking for an attempt to make more friends..well it looked like this was going to be it. He didn't really recognize any of these people..but dammit he was going to try!

Frog hadn't been expecting to be approached and spoken to while helping the team out. If anything, he was convinced no one was gonna bother chatting up a bunch of weirdos carrying gear and cluttering the hallways as they go about their workload. So when Adrian addressed him, Frog's reaction wasn't immediate. First thing he did was stop, wondering could it be possible that he heard a voice. When his brain finaly processed this, he looked in the other's general direction, meeting eyes with a person around his age. His face was pressed against the big cardboard box of epees and swords he was carrying, so the most he could do was shift his eyes down the moment he realized they were staring at each other.

"Well I'm not, but that's not the point. Of course I'll help out the guys, but I don't gotta be happy about it." He answered pretty seriously, seemingly rather oblivious to the joking tone this unknown person addressed him with. "U-uhm, so, hi-bye?"

Well, it was nice to hear someone else be blunt for a change. With that in mind, Adrian chuckled and nodded. "Well, you certainly have a point there. Though it does look like they've got you carrying a bit much there, huh?" He asked, interrupting this person before they could continue speaking. Admittedly, it did indeed look like a lot. He could see the handles of various types of fencing weapons and armor sticking out of the box, and while this person looked like they could handle it, they'd obviously need someone to open doors for them, lest they risk dropping things.

"Tell you what. I've got time to kill. Lemme help you out some. I'll get the doors, and a box of my own if they still need people to help them move things." He said as he gestured for Frog to lead the way. True to his word, Adrian walked just far enough ahead of this person to open up any doors that were between him and his destination. Man, Adrian had to be REALLY bored, if he was volunteering to help with the most boring thing any club could need help with.

The earnest response of this person surprised Frog quite a bit, catching his off guard like in a fencing match. They'd completely cut him off when he tried to shoo them away, and instead managed to push themselves into the role of an unaffiliated helper. Quite impressive, to be honest, yet again, he wasn't the one to just outright say no, even if this situation did make him a bit uncomfortable and embarrassed for being helped. "Well it's just old gear no one's thrown out yet. They have enough newer stuff but apparently this is a 'just-in-case' kinda thing, if we ever end up needing some extra equipment." He said, walking behind this person.

"I'm surprised you're offering to help. It's not something I'd expect a stranger to do in such a situation." Frog added as they continued and the help with door opening proved rather beneficial to him. This would've been much tougher had he been doing it alone. Some of the other teammembers were passing them by on their way back to the club room, and their looks all carried a sense of 'who's that' both for Frog and for Adrian. Frog was new, after all, and some probably still didn't know him well enough.
