| Frog, of course, at school earlier that day, arranged with Brit that they had to go to Backlight after classes because he had something he wanted to show her. The card was in his pocket and he felt its edges with the tips of his fingers, almost motionlessly, from time to time, to make sure it was still, or ACTUALLY there. He didn't quite trust these events he lived only in his dreams.
He lead Brit towards the appointed building specified by the weird puppeteer woman. He wasn't quite sure what he was trying to accomplish with that, maybe confirm that it was real with Brit? Or he just felt it would make the girl excited and whatnot, since she seemed amazed by pretty much everything.
"Brit, we're almost there, it's right here." He said as he gulped and knocked on the door...the Reflective Grotto.

| For most of the time, Brittany let herself be guided by Frogerio, albeit a bit unsure of what was his purpose with this small tour. Something seemed fishy, and he was being so mysterious she couldn't help but think one of the two options: he was either picking up the right stage for a confession during a date or he was on drugs. If it was the latter, she was ready to step back, make up some excuse and leave the scene before it escalates into him trying to convince her LSD is fun. If it was the former (oh how she hoped it was!), then... Then what? She didn't know! She has never been through this before! "Is it here? Okay. That's cool. So...now what?", Brittany said with a large grin and expectant eyes. | |

| The sound of water bubbling and hissing from her kettle could be heard throughout the office. She had an odd feeling ever since waking up from bed that someone was going to drop a visit. The redhead had several ideas who, but none too conclusive until the sound of knuckles rapping against the walnut wood heralded their arrival. The Attendant was simply biding her time in her comfortable leather wheeled chair as she sipped from her mug and skimmed through today's daily newspaper. Then she heard a knock. Or was it two raps? Well, whatever. There was visitors here to see her, not that it's been too rare lately, but they are welcomed nevertheless. Even to her frank self-admission, she wouldn't have it any other way. "Hm, I was getting bored anyway." She roused herself from her seat while slipping her spectacles and began to walk towards the entrance with each footstep making a small clack against the polished wooden floor. The sound of the locking mechanism shifting and unbolting could be heard for the two in front of the door before it finally opened. The first one to register in her mind was Frog from earlier, it seemed he came here for some kind of Velvet Room-related business. But the other, she couldn't quite tell, was she another possible Guest as well? "My, I didn't think you'd come so soon, Frog. Is that your girlfriend there? Come in, I have coffee if you want." She gestured them inside and to sit at the empty set of chairs in front of her desk. Her office was cluttered, that was for sure. But it wasn't difficult to navigate around at least. They could see the kettle was on a stove fire, waiting to be taken off for use. When the door closed behind them as they entered, she took another look at Brittany. Young and bright were two words that came to mind. Perhaps, juvenile could fit given her young age. "I believe we never met. I'm Touko from the Velvet Room and the proprietress of the Reflective Grotto. Would I be correct to assume you also are a guest of that place, Miss...?" | |

| "Now..." Frog was blistering with excitement over how excitedly Brit looked at him. His face mimicked her expression of delight as the door opened and he stood there like 'Ta-da!' at the sight that was Touko, his apparent Attendant, no matter how kinky that sounded.
But then his jaw dropped as he heard what she said, and a wave of red washed over his face momentarily before he shook it off (though his cheeks still retained the hue). "W-what, haha..." He said, scratching the back of his head as a droplet of sweat slid from his forehead. He glanced over at Brit to see her reaction and would most likely base his next step on what he saw from her. He followed Touko inside, still numb from the shock the woman's question imposed on him. He didn't even register most of her office as he walked through it.
Frog looked at Brit again when they sat down and she'd be question about the Velvet Room. He wasn't sure if she knew about it, so he kept silent for now.

| Alright, now some answers started popping up in her head. First, it wasn't some attempt to initiate Brittany in the road of drugs, which was a good sign. Second...it wasn't some kind of attempts for a confession, which...wasn't so great. But good things come for those who wait, and Brittany, despite her happy-go-luck, effusive demeanor, knew how to be patient. That's probably why, when met with the assertive question by the redhead woman, she opted to wait. The same happening from earlier, upon meeting the insufferable demeanor of the cheerleader squad leader Daisy, now with a new face - and again, the same indecisive reaction from Frogerio. Not a confirmation, and most importantly, not a denial. She might not know this lady, but she liked her already, just because of this little fact.
"Oh, I don't like coffee, ma'am! It kinda makes it heavy on my stomach! Sorry!", Brittany smiled, trying to be less of a clumsy funny girl and more of a polite, collected person...without much success, if one could add. "I'm Brittany! But you can call me Brit like everyone does." As they entered the office and found a place to sit, she looked back to Frogerio with a smile, checking if maybe he'd voice up a negative answer in light of Touko's question, still lingering in her mind. When he didn't, Brittany took the liberty to provide her own answer, with a bit of a desire to play a prank on her friend too. After all, he could have said they share no intimate commitment whatsoever, couldn't he? If he didn't, that's enough of a clue to her. "Yes, I'm Froggy's girlfriend! Has he talked about me?"

| "That is not a problem. Then perhaps you would like tea? Green and lemon seems to be the only ones I have in stock, I'm afraid. Are any of them your fancy, Brit?" It never took much for Touko to realize any changes from her immediate environment. Not that it took much to understand the meaning behind Frog's awkward demeanor and Brittany's more confident behavior. If anything, it amused the redhead as her welcoming smile creased up a little bit higher. "I'm afraid he hasn't mentioned much about himself to begin with either. After all, this is the second time I've met him."She was curious as to why they were here. In fact, why did the boy bring his girlfriend here? Touko made herself comfortable back in her chair while leaning forward to tent her fingers in front of her. There was still some time before she was going to be satisfied with the kettle boiling. So... "Now, what brings you two here to my humble abode?" | |

| Frog straightened up in his seat as he heard Brit speak. The cracking in his neck as he turned his face to look at her and the terrified expression on his face faded noticeably at the song echoing from his heart. His inner acceptance was clear, but...as he tried to process the truth, it was shrouded in doubt. How could Brit ever like someone like him? Was she making fun of him? Why was he so happy? His conciousness suppressed what was beneath it yelling for him to kiss her, leaving him behind in a miserable state.
"I-I brought Brit here to meet you and learn about the Velvet Room...I wanted to show her the place...because it was kind of great...except for the whole jailhouse-schtick..." He answered Touko with a quiver in his voice. He started feeling unwell after what Brit had said. He knew what kind of signals he was sending out, but he couldn't help it. For now, his strongest urge was that of his gut. And it grumbled loudly so that both Brit and Touko could hear it. "U-uhm....where's your bathroom?" He jumped out of his seat and started stomping on one foot after the other. If Touko directed him to a bathroom, he'd run off towards it immediately afterwards.

| "Oh cool! I loooove tea! Juice is fine too if you have any but tea will totally do, ma'am!" After all, she wasn't the one to refuse free food. Or drinks. Except when they make her feel sick, a luxury she couldn't afford given she was the only one to pay the bills and work where she lives.
"Oooooh yeah! The Velvet Room! I know of that place. I've met an Attendant before. His name was Alexander or something? I also remember dreaming of him, and other attendants, and the guy with a big nose... It was definitely, totally a dream, we can't have someone with that big of a nose walking around alive, can we? Unless he was a demon. That would explain the size and...format... uh, sooo Frogerio didn't talk about me, huh? It's alright. He is kinda too shy, right, Froggy?" Again, she turned to him with a smile that was bordering on raw, infantile mischievousness and sincere affection. Something for Frogerio himself to decide, that is, if his stomach allowed any deeper thinking than going to the bathroom. While one could feel embarrassed if they were on his shoes, Brittany snickered, putting one hand in front of her lips to retain any signs of laughter from slipping out while glancing briefly at Touko's face, waiting for the next big, awkward happening to burst into laugh.

| The boy of Power was literally shaking in his boots. Or at least his stomach was if that sound was any indication. Was he scared of Brittany or was he really scared of the commitment to a relationship. How curious. There wasn't a Wild Card like him at all to her recollection. With a finger and a smile, Touko pointed at the washroom that was right near the exit. "Feel free to help yourself."She began to rise from her chair and walk towards the small area that appeared to be some kind of impromptu kitchen with a sink, cupboards, and a small fridge. Memories bid her to take into account that there was only some orange juice still sitting there inside. When the redhead finally came back to her seat, she handed a mug of juice to her while saving a mug of steaming coffee for herself. "Alexander, huh? I believe he is quite the smooth-talker. He hasn't caused you any problems, has he?"Ladykillers tend to attract young impressionable women from their wiles. Most of the time it led to nothing good, but unwanted pregnancies, drugs, venereal diseases, and a whole gaggle of drama. Then again, he was an Attendant, it's not like he would get himself entangled in such things. She sipped from her mug, briefly reminiscing some of the turbulent everyday lives the Persona Users faced during her previous time as an Attendant. It seemed like that somethings don't really change, especially in a setting like Endymion. "I was wondering, Brittany. Why did you and Frog become Psyche-Terrorists?" | |

| Frog ran off to the bathroom after nodding at Touko a short 'thanks'. He rushed inside and slammed the door shut behind him, throwing himself over the sink. He turned the water on, threw his glasses on the side of the surface and splashed sweet cold relief all over his reddening face. Taking a deep breath through the water, air filled his lungs again and his stomach quieted down. Frog stood in spot with the collar of his shirt all soaked, observing his visage in the mirror.
What was he even doing? Brittany was obviously into him, so why couldn't he bring himself to be into her too? Or well...he felt like he was into her, but feared to admit it to her. Confessing was really difficult. He just felt she was gonna mock him or something.
A teardrop struck the basin. "..." Frog stood dumbfounded. This was getting way too emotional for him and he was scared. Scared of so many things right now, that he couldn't even count them all. And so soon not to mention!
He took a deep breath again to try and calm his nerves, then wiped his eyes into his sleeve, erasing any trace of a tear. He waited some time while Brittany and Touko could discuss their deals in private and he had a moment of respite.

| "Oh no, Alexander was nice! Funny too! I mean, there was something a bit odd about his behavior but maybe that's because he's an Attendant?", she shrugged, a smile reminiscing from the small, short laughing fit that succeeded after Frogerio bolted out to the bathroom. It was a funny sight how hr friend acted under pressure, a bit of her childishly mischievous nature speaking louder under the desire of watching him react to her, but...did he take it too serious?
"Uh...it was kinda like an accident, you know? There was this reporter from SMILE who needed help to cover up some news or whatever, so I volunteered, Frog did too...and everything was fine, but a masked Terrorist appeared in front of us, we chased him to get a scoop for the reporter lady but... Now that I think of it, I don't think she got anything that night, she kinda fainted..." It brought back some issues to her. Where was the reporter? What happened to her after that night? "Anyway, that terrorist threw demons at us and we kinda developed this...power to fight them back. Personas, right? I remember there were voices inside my head...a voice from my persona, and the next thing, we were dressed like heroes and heroines and fighting the demons! Weird, right? I don't think we actually chose it, it kinda...happened, I guess?"

| She chuckled as Britanny described her peer, thankfully nothing went wrong. For now, Touko didn't comment too much about Velvet Attendants at all. They were all a bunch of socially deficient entities given how seclusive they were inside of the Velvet Room. She couldn't quite say much for them since, despite their awkwardness and unique nature, they were still in a sense people in their own right. The redhead listened intently to what Brittany had to say while sipping from her mug. Demons causing them to awaken? In one hand, potential was a way to differentiate from others in being able to awaken Personas. But was it that easy? There was something else, that was for sure, but she wasn't going to share it any time soon. The redhead began to slip her glasses off to set them on the table. "There are other Persona-Users like you, chosen for this kind of life rather than them doing the choosing. I won't lie to you, it will be scary. You may actually lose your lives or worse. But your efforts can pay off in the end. Will you actually continue down this path regardless of the risks?" | |

| Frog walked out of the bathroom silently. He'd not done anything in it except rinse his face, but that was enough for him to regain his composure and ready himself to sit with the two of them again. He came inside just as Touko was finishing her little warning and he blinked a few times in confusion before waving at them with a sheepish smile on his face. "I'm done, but that's probably tmi, haha..." He glanced to the side with a grin, then sat back on the seat.
He didn't mention anything about their beverages for now. Maybe Touko would offer him one too, 'cause he damn well knew he wanted some juice himself. Or maybe tea. He never had tea at home, so it was always an interesting new experience for him. "Risks schmisks." Frog chuckled. "I get it's dangerous, but we're careful, right, Brit?" He glanced at her but only barely. "We've already beaten lots of demons up so I don't see the problem. The only thing is the government...what's with them, are they like us too? I mean, with Personas. Oh and I met this one person in the Velvet Room earlier...his name was Akuma something or something. I forgot it 'cause I may have given him a nickname...he was a dick." He asked Touko and leaned into the seat while waiting for a response. He felt he did a pretty good job at pushing himself back into the conversation with the two of them~

| She considered asking Frogerio if he was alright, but...ultimately, she didn't. Maybe because something tells her the reason why he went to the bathroom was herself. No matter how good-willed the question would be, asking it would be similar to poke again at Frogerio and the last thing she wanted was to make him awkward again.
As for Touko...in a way, she could understand where she came from. The memories from the previous nights venturing as a terrorist were still fresh, and so were the fuzzy sights of a battlefield, human bodies laying down showing no movement, prey to the demons... Yeah, it was scary. The first time she actually felt scared for being a terrorist, the first time she understood it wasn't mere roleplay and lives . "Yeah...", she smiled, though an attentive person could detect this smile was less of a raw demonstration of her typical joy and more melancholic, drifted in concern, worry and, why not, hesitation. "If Frogerio is in this...I'm gonna be with him. We signed up for this together, after all."

| "Glad to see you can join us, Frog," Touko amicably greeted him as she got back up again to retrieve a mug of juice for him as well before handing it off to him to consume, "I take it this will suffice for you?"That was the last of the juice she had in the fridge. There could always be more if she left for the market, but she had intrigued guests here to handle rather than meandering around the white-washed floor tiles of the aisles. She examined their expressions as the duo answered. One was of risk-taking and highly placed confidence, how like a Wild Card of this era and how like a Psyche-Terrorist. But the other was less cocksure and more concerned of the future that had laid in front of them. Nevertheless, willing to go along with it for someone's sake. There was something Cheshire-like in her smile. It amused her and it made her wonder how far they will go. Will they be able to bring down the Queen? Or will they crumble under the weight of her Will? "Interesting answers... Very well, I'll do whatever is in my power to support you two. It is part of my job after all."Touko began to sip from her coffee, which she had left alone for quite a while now. She savored it and took a moment to think before replying to the Wild Card's question. The Velvet Attendant wondered how much she could answer them, but decided to give them a little something for coming all this way after all. "Indeed they are wielders of potential much like all of you, but it develops and it's earned in quite a different way than yours. They aren't visitors nor guests of the Velvet Room like the both of you. Regardless, I'd be careful if you were to meet one. After all, they're all trained to take the likes of you down. But I'm sure with a bit of due diligence, you can make enough preparations to confront with one should you be forced to."It was interesting how things were. With the power of the Persona in the hands of the people outside of the Room. She had her hunches of where they got their power. It made her wonder a lot of things at the same time. But that's why there were Guests. They were there to stumble through the mysteries of their world. "You've met the Demon Painter? He's quite the interesting character. But I suggest you steer clear of him. Guests like him are rather... violent. It's no wonder why the Cadets are so willing to do their jobs, ha ha..." | |
