Melina’s transformed appearance/shadow form/whatever you want to call it is a giant snake. A gigantic, overgrown multi-headed snake (seven at most) that is four and a half meters in length from each head to tail tip. Its body starts out as a single serpent that eventually splits into seven heads. Each head sports large fangs and a hood consisting of dark coloured scales. It’s not as big as one would think only being, like I said, ten feet long at most from tail tip to the end of any head.
As a final note the middle head of these seven head is not actually a snake's head at all. Instead, as the neck extends out from the central body it in fact grows into a humanoid body; Well the upper body, head and arms of one. This "upper body" looks exactly like Melina would so maybe it's better to say the additional snakeheads grow from Melina's body?
Form Background: Melina’s persona, if she actually had one and was still human/not possessed by her shadow, would have been Lilith. However, it is a specific representation of Lilith from a medieval text known as the Alphabet of Sirach. The Alphabet is presumed to be a satirical work that riffed on classic religious verses and concepts including Genesis.
Anyway. In this work Lilith was Adam’s original wife yet she refused to be considered as anything less than Adam’s wife and equal. Her thought process on the subject was as god made them both from the same source, they were equals and should have an equal relationship.
Lilith then fled from the garden and made her way to the red sea but Adam, being the manchild he was, cried to God and Angels were dispatched to bring her back. Lilith basically told them to get stuffed and basically became the first Succubus, tormenting pregnant women, making newborns sick and fornicating with demons.
The connection between this interpretation of Lilith and Melina’s alternative form lies in the Arcana. The Devil Arcana is associated with temptation, among other things, as well as the “Devil” in general. The Shadow Melina finds this new world with all these sensations she never got to experience immensely tempting.
Snakes have, in Christian religions been associated with both temptation and the Devil. That’s why Melina’s alternative form is a giant voracious seven headed serpent. It represents temptation gone wild, the Devil Arcana as a whole but also the Beast of Revelation which was said to have seven heads as well as being a serpent.
Strengths: Dark and slash.
Weaknesses: Ice and lighting.
Passive Boosts: 15% boost to both debuffs and buffs as per Devil Arcana.

Description: The Shadow Selves have a special ability called the "Shadow Frenzy" allowing them to cast three skills of the same tier only. This Shadow Frenzy only lasts for three (3) turns, and once it ends it can not be used again the entire topic and all following skills will be weaker by 50% (unless a special item is used).
