| "Dude yuck." Frog had a cold chill run down his spine at Patty's words. It was obvious Daisy was now ignoring them for a better, tastier prey, one that could fight back with words. Seeing as her attempt to provoke him into punching her failed thanks to Cecil, she was probably just disinterested now. Frog was fine with that, as much as he still wanted to punch her, his head had cooled down a bit so he was ok for now. He wasn't gonna try anything funny.
"Auuuuugh, Cecil, this is quite a shitstorm now." He said to Cecil, deciding to ignore Daisy for now. "But man, thanks for saving me back there, I was acting like a total idiot..."

| At this point, mocking laughs were a constant in the crowd, much to the cheerleader's dismay. There was a clear feud going on with polar opposites dividing the crowd's sentiment as to which one should them root for: in one side, the school's self-proclaimed queen bee, Daisy, accompanied by a silent, fearful Mellany who limited her actions to that of an anxious spectator; by the other side, daring Patricia.
"Aww, projecting already? I have totally no interest in sticking my tongue onto their dicks. That might be your thing since you're the one so eager to bring it up now and again", she turned to the guys, Frogerio and Cecil, with a contemptuous smile. "Heard it, boys? I don't do charity, but worry not, you just found your threesome meal for tonight! Yay, you'll stop being virgin losers!"

| Patty reveled in the spotlight she'd stolen, completely content in throwing heat at some skanks and having everyone make fun of them. It wasn't even personal anymore, now it was just entertaining. Getting egged on by the crowd meant she was doing a pretty good job in tearing this slut down, her friend wasn't even saying anything anymore. And like dude, Cecil was pretty freakin' brutal when he wanted to be. Must be that Columbine angst. Zander looked like he was happy enough to get out of it without getting bugged which was cool because that's what Patricia had set out to do. She just didn't think or care about it at the moment. All the Cali girl cared about lighting these chicks up and she was pretty fuckin' good at it. Even better when she could throw Daisy's words straight back at her and not in the "Oh I'm so good and you suck" kinda way most people did. That didn't hurt people. Patty knew how to really hurt people."Uuuuh, chica? I hate to break it to you but I never said 'dick'.""Haha I said lick them, I didn't say where. You connected the dots on your own! Yo you get brain damage from getting slammed against the headboard all the time or what?" The lanky girl would anticipate more laughter and hollering and she'd smirk wide but it'd drop as soon as Miss Bitch turned her attention away from her to the boys again. Part of her still wanted to stand up for them as the only one that really could or wanted to. Another part of her didn't like not getting attention. Either way she was SO done with this. It was about time to get vicious now that she could pull it off. "Okay, so like, we get it, you're shameless fuck meat but I don't think they can afford one of your famous nose jobs. Like it's totally nice of you to volunteer and shit buuuuuut like, this is kinda getting sad. So like why don't you go somewhere someone actually wants you like your dad's lap or some shit?" | |

| With a long sigh, Cecil brought his attention back to Frog with a weary smile, utterly sick of the shit that was going on both here and in the rest of his life but unwilling to turn his frustrations on him. "Don't worry about it...it's nothing." He shrugs halfheartedly. "I am just...not in the mood for this. Not that I really would be any other time, but I'm just sick of this bloody nonsense right now."
He slowly looked back over to Daisy with an icy, frustrated gaze as the girl decided she wanted to open up her mouth again, filled with an uncustomary loathing that only grew with each syllable. "Like I was ever worried about getting any of what pitiful offerings you could possibly present. I'm hardly about to take charity from you when you obviously need it more." He raises as eyebrow, staring into the girl the same way Ankou stared into him, letting someone else bear the judging stare that makes you question your every action for once. "You had to bring your entire posse with you for your shit not to fall flat. That didn't work, they're sniggering at you behind your back. You made a lovely scene to get all eyes on you, to get the attention that you crave, that you'd never get any other time. And you got it! They're watching you, and they're all laughing at your sorry display."
He lazily lifts a finger, pointing to Mellany by Daisy's side. "Not even your accomplice has any faith in you at this point. Just standing there, silently, no idea what to do now peer pressure isn't saving your pitiful attempts at wit." He lets his finger fall, ceasing to draw eyes to the girl standing fearfully by Daisy's side and letting them fall where they may. "Will she speak up? Try to say something in defence of someone who'd never let them speak anyway, risk ridicule for someone who'd leave them to dry?" "Or...will she just let you hang like everyone else has...? There's nowhere to go but down after all...better to step in the crowds and let the inevitable happen. Stay with the people that know better...and let you crash. And. Burn."

| Frog was kinda awestruck at Cecil who was just through with all this crap and started spewing some manure at the daisies. He'd never have expected a guy like Cecil could pull something like this off so well, but apparently when pushed far enough, everything just spills out. For now, he was content nodding at Cecil to thank him and then observing the bullshit that was happening. He had no spotlight in this contest as he could not even begin to compete with the others here. Maybe it was a sign that the whole ordeal wasn't important enough for him to invest, that this Daisy wasn't anyone he had any info on or could make assumptions and prod at the right points. He could very well be fighting a cardboard cut-out or something. Frog's thing was striking at where it mentally hurt to actually force the other person to collapse unto themselves. He could not find a weak spot when they were just throwing words back and forth, neither as skilled at turning every finer said detail into a dagger like Patty did, nor as angry as Cecil to just start struggling back.
"It takes a meal to know a meal." He said bemusedly, sideways glancing at Daisy. "I thought misses like you had to be all about charity and sharing with people though. Oh, and I don't mean misses as in that kinda 'Miss Universe' bullshit. You should get it."

| It was hard to admit defeat, but Daisy knew she was at a disadvantage here. At least for now. This project of a tall whore managed to get the worst of her, albeit Daisy did her best to not show any signs of being affected by her offensive banters.
"We should go. They might call the principals or something if we stay and we get in trouble...", Mellany muttered, glancing around with concerned, careful looks. Daisy couldn't care less. She busied herself preparing for a comeback, if not for the realization Mellany was right. Again. So be it. Last but not least, she glanced at the initial target of her hatred: Frogerio, the one and only.
"Oh, next time you meet Brittany, you do me the favor to tell her she's out of the team. She's kinda not performing well enough, so..yep! Sorry, that's just how it is in this business. Not like she needs us with such a strong squad of outcasts and losers backing her up, right? Hope you're happy to turn her as miserable as one of you!", Daisy kept her smile, satisfied at her utmost revenge. She knew by now that Brit was this guy's weak point, so aiming at her would of course 'cause him to freak out and nothing would be more pleasant and satisfying than the sweet taste of getting back at them. With her final word on, she turned her back on the trio and walked back into the academy, followed by Mellany right behind her.

| Sooooooo Patty wasn't gonna snitch. Like, that was lame. She could handle her own problems, even if they weren't her problems, this didn't involve the school. Like homegirl had to have some serious issues going after this chick's boyfriend to get at her though, that was a hell of a grudge. But whatever, Patty didn't start drama she just showed up and owned it. She didn't even learn that chick's name but assumed she was on some kind of popular girl hit list or whatever. Yeah right, not like she wasn't already close to the top of that list after snagging Albrecht away from Caitlyn. Haters could get in line. "Pssssh, see ya spitroast. Wouldn't wanna be ya." But they deserved to get in line for Patty, as friendly as she was her bad side wasn't a good place to be. Patricia crossed her arms and kept her shit-eating grin as the alpha bitches turned into betas and walked away. The lanky thug would wait for the crowd to disperse just a little before hopping up on the table to take a seat. "My dude, like that chick hates you so much she either has or wants to fuck you at some point," she remarked to Zander. "Like I've never seen anyone but a psycho ex have that much of a hate-on for someone. You did pretty good though in a weird dweeby sorta way but like it worked right?" Patty shrugged with a friendly smile. Zander was cool, he was the rare kind of awesome dork that just acted like a spaz but were totally cool at the same time. And like, he came up with some good ones. So did Cecil, but Patty wasn't nearly as happy with him at that moment. It showed on her face with a scowl as she grimaced at him. "That wasn't fuckin' cool, Cecil. I don't know if you thought it'd get you cred or what but if you were tryin'a be the bigger asshole here congratu-fuckin'-lations." She was less mad than she was vocal about her disappointment. Patty knew he had problems doing the whole "people" thing and when he started out he had some pretty good insults but the speech just disgusted her for a couple of different reasons. He probably didn't know what he was doing but it annoyed her anyway. She'd keep her voice at conversation level so it didn't start anymore shit, this was really for him to hear, everyone else could get lost. "Dude, homegirl was just sorta standing there with her shitty friend, you didn't have to drag her into it, she wasn't sayin' shit. Don't talk like you know people and act like you're better'n them, 'cause you don't and you're not. I don't give a fuck what she said, that wasn't freakin' okay." Patricia chewed on the inside of her cheek as she glared at Cecil with her "tired of your shit" face for an awfully long time. She wanted this one to really sink in. Once you started looking down on people you made them worthless for stupid reasons. Patty wasn't having that, she WAS NOT about to deal with any of it. | |

| As they left, the ire Cecil had been filled started to drained away into the yawning pit within him, the overflow of frustration ending to leave little but a persistent tiredness in his wake. Well. It was over. And no strong feelings about any of it remained.
He didn't react to anything around him until Patty turned on him, at which point he flinched. He didn't want to think about anything that had just happened, and would have been happy ignoring it until the inevitable moment something bubbled up again, but he did. And as he did, he was forced to acknowledge just what that looked like. Cecil deflated further, tiredness now intermingling with a familiar loathful sentiment. He didn't look at Patty, but he could feel her looking at him. At that point, his voice only came out in a listless, denigrating tone. "...of course I don't know them. I'm certainly not better than them - that's just ridiculous. Me? Better than someone? Not in this time, not on this planet, not in this universe." He shrugs, though it's more like a tiny twitch of the shoulders. "They just tipped over the mounting shit pile, and then all thought went out of the window. None of that should have seen the light of day...would have, if I could. But I can't. So that happens, apparently." He lets a long breath out. "I hope people are appalled with that. They should be. All of it. At least I'd be an example of what not to do."

| Relief washed over Frog as he watched Mellany whisper to her bitchy friend. He felt they would leave, the two of them, scared away by some nerds and geeks or whatever. But there was a looming sense that Daisy was gonna throw something in at the end. She was the kind of girl that absolutely always had to have the final say, so there was no way she was gonna retreat with her tail between her legs. And true, the moment came when Daisy dropped the final bomb. It came as such a surprise to Frog because he hadn't truly yet connected everything in his brain. Daisy was so minor in his life he hadn't connected her to Brit's cheerleading truly. She was a passing thought in his brain, so irrelevant in reality that...well...now that she'd suddenly pushed herself into relevancy, connecting all the disconnected parts into a whole forcefuly, he'd entered a somewhat delayed state of shock. All processing for the first couple moments was redirected for the purposes of understanding what had happened and that he might've been to blame for that for whatever fuckin reason, and it was gonna last for a while longer, because he absentmindedly took note of this development, storing it for later. Additionally, for all he knew, that's how things just worked in the cheerleading world. And Brit certainly couldn't have been enjoying working with people like Daisy anyways. Especially if Daisy hated her so much. It was all too much for him to chew instantly. But he didn't say anything back regardless. How could he, since everything was already done.
"Errr, you really think some of my burns were good?" Frog turned to Patty instead, scratching the back of his head. He wanted to go take a seat at the table where she sat down, but now that she'd positioned herself there, it'd be fuckin weird to sit there since he wouldn't be able to face her when talking and whatever. He'd be sitting by her feet and that would also be pretty weird. "I think she just hates my girlfriend, not me." He added, sounding weird to himself that he could even utter such a sentence, that he could even have a girlfriend, but such self-loathing was outshined by Cecil's when Patty started getting at him. Frog hadn't realized Cecil's final speech was all that horrible as Patty described it, but that was mostly because of his own lack of people skills. He also didn't expect Patty to stand in defense of their enemies, yet it was kinda to be expected if Patty had as much street cred as she looked like she had. Something something life on the streets is hard.
"Geez Cecil." He said, head to the side. He was really annoyed by the way the other was loathing but he didn't wanna voice it, especially if it'd interrupt Patty's scolding. Cecil described the feelings well enough, he imagined, so there was even less reason to butt into their conversation. So now was a good time to sit at the table, turning himself over in his seat to watch Cecil from where Patty was as well, like some sorta jury or whatever. Except he was sitting at the actual seating part, whereas Patty sat at the eating part of the table.

| Here we go again with the pity act. Every time she shouted at him he just got all... freakin' sad and shit. It wasn't even like normal disappointment and stuff, he just wallowed in his own misery and hangups and all that garbage. It kinda made her mad. "Psssh, cut it out. That's not gonna work on me," she defended with crossed arms. He could be sad all he want, but just like last time that wasn't a defense for being shitty. If you were really sorry about something you wouldn't do it again. Patricia chewed on her lip with an annoyed, judging stare as she thought for a sec. Usually she didn't give a shit but she could be a problem solver, a lot of people thought she was stupid but she was quick to catch onto the unspoken stuff. Sure he got bullied and stuff but there was always someone out there who would, it didn't matter who you were. Whatever-her-name-was probably got pushed around by someone too but that didn't matter, that's not how you were supposed to deal with it. But he could make friends. He made friends with Zander, he was probably friends with that one kid he got caught drinking with and he was friends with her too but that was the thing. People were both better and worse than you thought they were and most people weren't straight-up dillholes. He could make friends. But with that reflexive sorry act she didn't think anyone would ever yell at him to change his tune. Hugs and kisses just meant what you were doing was the right thing to do, that someone else was being a jerk and it was gonna make sure that he kept on turning into a jackass.
Patty could be the bad guy if it was for someone else's own good.
"Haaaa... Look," she sighed, putting a hand on the depressed kid's shoulder, "I get it. She was being a bitch and it pissed you off, I ain't sayin' she's right 'cause yeah, she was being a total bitch. But you can't say things like that, okay? Don't EV-UR assume something about someone's situation, you don't know what they're going through, and don't drag in other people into it either 'cause that's just as bad. If you don't think you're better than anyone quit talking like you are, okay?" Patty was getting tired of this, she showed up to talk trash and maybe lay a bitch out, she didn't show up to scold little boys. She punched Cecil in the back of the shoulder, not enough to hurt but maybe enough to push him a little. "Hey. You started out pretty good, you laid out some good ones. Haha I thought she was gonna smack you!" she laughed in her normally cheery tone. "Up until that. Like, you gotta keep that shit in check. 'Kay? You wanna piss'em off and make'em look stupid, not say anything you can't take back."
Patricia crossed one leg over the other and dropped all angry pretenses to speak to Frog. She was done being mad. Like sometimes she wanted to be mad but like, this wasn't one of those. "You did okay, like she would of ate you alive and not in the way she probably likes to do with guys by yourself but it wasn't like terrible or anything. But like that chick has serious issues or something, that's some next level hate. That's like some you stole my man kind of hate. Like how do you even?"

| 'Work on her'? Did she think he was putting up some dumb act to avoid a bollocking for everything that he just said? He didn't think he'd made that shitty an impression to get her to think that's what he was like.
He doesn't say anything as Patty keeps talking, eye flicking to her hand as it's laid on his shoulder. He gives a little nod as his expression starts to blank out, once more just looking drained. His miseries simply sat in the background in the meantime, waiting for a time when he'd better be able to process them to surge back. He slumps back in his place, taking a deep breath and putting one earphone back in. He had no idea what to say, and honestly he'd just like the moment to put in the other earphone, listen to stuff and gather himself. But Ankou wasn't letting that happen even if Frog and Patty weren't there. He just tried to pay attention as best he could, even it was starting to get more difficult to maintain the focus needed not to zone out.

| Frog had expected Patty's encouragement to work on Cecil and he listened with a slight curve on his lip as the girl kept up the monologue. But then it all felt like it had no effect on Cecil whatsoever and Frog watched blankly as the guy sat down with an earphone zoning half of his hearing out of this world and the other half probably with it. So with that awkwardness on the side, he had to focus on Patty or else he was gonna do something really stupid.
He gave Patty a shrug with a smirk. Her praise seemed a bit less awesome now and more like pity, but he let it slide. He knew he was bad at burns and had she not said anything about him doing well, he would've been quite content as he were. But now he sensed he could do better or maybe he was doing ok at the time already, so not receiving absolute praise for his work and abilities felt like a slap. "Ya well I really only saw her once, hehe." He chuckled. Stealing her man had him wonder for a moment whether Daisy had some feelings for Liam of all people. Oh, Patty probably was talking about Daisy v Brit now, so that was wrong. Then the stolen man woulda been him.
"Oh it's like probably just jealousy. I mean, Brit's a model and all that, so betcha Daisy's sick of that. You saw how she's like so yeah. She also prolly thinks Brit's wasting what she herself doesn't have on someone like me."

| He didn't even say anything, he just ignored her. Like not even a yeah, okay or I totally didn't mean to. Well what the hell ever, yo. If he wanted to be pathetic she'd let Cecil be pathetic, it wasn't her job to be his personal cheerleader or make him feel good about himself. She liked to have a good time with fun people and even when stuff got bad she'd try to stick around for it. Patty tried to set him straight but he was trying not to listen to her so, like, she wasn't gonna waste her time. Patricia scoffed and took her arm off of him with an unimpressed scowl before diverting her attention to Zander. Who was, like, A LOT more interesting than she gave him credit for. Like that one chick had to have some real abandonment issues to only get with him once and have THAT kind of concentrated pissiness about him and his new girl. "Ahahaha no fuckin' way! You didn't!" The lanky chick laughed and punched Zander in the shoulder. Dude, like for a nerd what a freakin' player though. And a model on top! Like she wouldn't of believed it if they didn't just have this huge shitfest. "My dude I knew it was about that, she's gotta be pinin' for the pine, na'am sayin'? Freakin' trust me dude she's totally after your disco stick. Or, like, she's after your model girlfriend or something. Like WOW, how messed up would that be? I'd TOTALLY watch that play out though, aheha." Patricia didn't mean to start shit like how she didn't half the time but she really, really liked to gossip and talk about people. Drama was great, super entertaining. After her mood was lifted from talking just a bit and not about crap she didn't wanna deal with it drew her attention back to Cecil he was doing his best to not exist. Which was too freakin' bad Patty changed her mind. He wasn't, like, average so she'd give him another shot. Her patience ran out pretty damn fast but she got it back just as quick. The druggie chick poked him a couple times hard between his shoulder blades with her slender fingers. "Hey. Hey. Talk to us, c'mon." | |

| Cecil took slow breaths as he set the music down low. Cranking up high, while tempting if he was alone, was just going to defeat the point of trying to make sure he could still hear what they were saying if he did it now. Everything would just come in as unintelligible gibberish with blaring music blasted into one ear, the sheer volume by comparison commanding his focus. It was hard to ignore something reasonably loud when it was right in your ear. Things went on like he wasn't there, and it was a familiar course of events. It was just one that tended to be a little more depressing than it was before after you'd gotten a taste for it not being the case. Shoulda really known the recent turnaround was a lucky break. Kind of inevitable he'd turn someone off eventually, come to think. He hoped he wouldn't repeat it, but he wasn't holding his breath.
Cecil jolted as he felt the finger in his back, loosing his earphone as he scrambled to catch the intruding finger. That actually kinda hurt. "Stop that...I get it, I get it." It was a more muted response than the action might have otherwise provoked, but she had his attention. "Sorry. I just...I don't know. No idea what to say." He shrugged. "Talking to people tends to be easier when you actually have words to use, huh?"

| Frog wanted to wave his arms in front of himself, flailing as he'd say he really didn't know what /Patt'ws sayin' yo/ but she spoke so fast it made him a bit dizzy and she was making all these assumptions; was this how conversations usually went???
"Ahem." Frog coffed in his fist. She did seem impressed by him after hearing this so he was at least satisfied and could calm himself down and play his role now as best he could. "Man, if you're right then I should prolly watch my back. And Brit should too. Never knew I had such an effect on queen bees like her." He grinned, playing into the whole deal more as a joke. He knew Patty only knew a portion of the story and while his core ached for him to try and correct her on every wrong thing she guessed, for now he had to contain himself. For now. And well who knows maybe she was right. She was much better at reading people anyways. So maybe she read him better than he could read himself from a different standpoint.
Huh one could hope.
"Well duh, dude, that's why all the people just talk about the same shit every time they get together. It's like, you have one set of words you use for each person you talk to on a daily basis. S'why you're better cause you can see beyond that shit, yup. Beyond chatting and into real conversation territory, which is hard."
