There was always something unexpected going on, wasn't there? Though the events of tonight hadn't hit Shiina as hard as the others, she still grimaced in knowing she'd have to dedicate the rest of it to another assignment immediately after the terror that was the last one. It was a taxing job, as it always was, but it was one she signed up for regardless.
//"...a race against time."//
Was that for the Cadets or the Terrorists? Both, really, though she wouldn't need to say anything else about it. The first arrival after her was someone she honestly expected after what happened against the Jest Leader. Shiina almost wanted to smile, but she resigned to just acknowledging her with a solemn nod as she entered. It was strange, really, how Cecilia's mind ticked. This dedication and pride reminded her a lot of a certain princess, who in turn hit far too close to home. That's why the Wild Card was glad she was here.
//"...right. Let's clean up!"//
Though the smile didn't come, the fact that the other Cadet still uttered that phrase renewed Shiina's vigor for the upcoming mission. They had to be fast. All of them did... whether they would actually succeed or not was all up to their luck. Once again, that sentiment went both ways.

Silence. Behind the mirrored glass were unfeeling eyes, as Jackie arrived on the scene. One Psyche Terrorist was bad enough, especially one on the level of T. But this Was just absurd. What on earth did they think they were doing, did they actually believe they could just take over the airwaves and nobody'd stop them? If they did, then these ones were more foolish than T. Which was as amazing as it was sad. For the moment, the objectives seemed clear. Find them before they could find a way out.
He had been lucky to meet up with the other officers. The android was already in a bad mood, his failure against T was...demoralizing. But this was a chance for redemption. To stomp out criminal scum that had no clue how screwed they actually were. With a solemn look on his face, and a thought in the back of his head about if this counted as overtime or not, Jackie only had one thing to say.
"We should be careful to remove hostages first, if possible. Then we can worry about them." Of course, the first probably wouldn't be possible without defeating the Terrorists.

"Out of my way!"
The intern yelped as Superbia suddenly came towards him with a stool chair. While he managed to swerve out of harm, due to her weakened state and just beginning to recover, the object smashed itself into the controls. Lights began to flicker. But any longer, the whole broadcast would be finished. There was no way the man would stop him as a push-over. And the former District Head just wouldn't stop there. She was not going to let them have this one without a fight.
Note:
Gabe will still be pre-occupied with the speech unless he chooses to help out to stop her, depending on the party's choices.

Superbia was acting up and it looked like she was trying to end the broadcast. That much was apparent, but even though Gabe felt like they overstayed their welcome, he thought he should at least try for a final push before getting out of here and possibly making a connection to the people of the city so they could really understand what they were trying to do.
"And if you don't believe me, I invite you to seek out the truth yourselves. Turn every stone, look around every corner, experience both sides of a story, ask questions about what you've been told. Be brave enough to seek out the hidden truth that this government and this city is trying to hide from you. Maybe....instead of following these false idols, you can be the hero that this city REALLY needs. If not for the city, then for yourselves! You owe it to yourself to find out what's really going on in this place that you consider a home."

Unison seen Superbia grabbing the chair and she rushed the man, at least she thought she was rushing him, but seeing her pass him and go after the controls she only shook her head a bit as she walked over to the weakened woman and pointed at her "Restrain her...." she said simply as the chains swirled around her and the padlock that held them closed appeared before her, she gently touched it and it opened releasing the chains and out of the swirling mass her pawns walked out, all of them marching towards Superbia and attempting to grab her, all eight of them working together to restrain her if possible.
She found the woman's actions a bit foolish though, smashing the controls wouldn't stop anything, she would need to do more damage...it was like breaking the controller on a game system, the game will keep running since you didn't damage the system itself, at least that was what she was assuming for the moment, she had been seeing a tutor about electronics and the like, they had covered a lot of things, but not things like this....not yet anyway.

"Holy shit....." The gravity of the situation fell on her like a ton of bricks. The witch realized what this all meant, to everyone. She hadn't taken anything seriously, she never did, even when they were fighting for their lives it was all trash-talk, near misses, and pumping adrenaline. It never crossed her mind that this wasn't something to be taken lightly, to her it was another game. She got to run around with crazy superpowers, slaying monsters and fighting the Big Bad Bitch. She even got to be the anti-hero and send an angel to Hell and that was metal as fuck, yo. But she ignored the red flags while she was chasing her fun. This stopped being fun a long time ago but she just keep digging deeper and deeper into that hole. Patty was an excellent liar. She knew the geekbait assistant wasn't going to believe her, it was something she thought would be funny before they made their dramatic exit. And the cameras didn't stop rolling. For a moment she was terrified, Patty wasn't dumb, she knew how this was...
...she knew he was serious. They were terrorists. Actual terrorists. This is what she signed up for before she knew what it meant. But this meant everything to them, they'd fight and die for their beliefs. Patricia didn't want to start a hostage situation, she wanted to kick some stuck up cow in the head a couple times and skip down the freakin' road. They had more stake in this than that, and the broadcast was actually her idea but... she wanted it to be an exciting, inspiring message she could joke around with. Hey Endymion! We're giving you back the airwaves, yo! We the people! Not a call to arms. This wasn't her crusade, and she wasn't about to let herself put everything on the line for something she didn't ask for.
The witch put her hand to her temple as the chaos unfolded around her, the message, and Superbia standing up to opposition. She didn't forget what was said earlier. She wouldn't stick around for the backlash, that wasn't her. And she knew how to read a situation. Everything went so far sideways it went to another dimension. "......I'm not a part of this. Ah ha ha ha I'm totally not gonna be a part of this!" she laughed darkly. Wicked stepped backward away from the others, reaching into her coat pocket. She pulled a handful of gems from within and tossed a couple to Revenant. "Yo! Give these to Tux, wouldja? He's kinda busy and I don't like owing people. I'm outie, enjoy your revolution~!" The witch turned toward Aya, the only one she felt, like, would get where she was coming from. "Hey Lime-Green Death Machine, you comin' or you wanna risk SWAT dropping through the ceiling? Couldja pick up Stitches too? Like, I don't wanna be a total bitch and leave him there or some shit." She'd take the last gem and hold it high before giving a final warning. "...yo seriously though, you guys are on a time limit, everyone's watching and they've gotta be PISSED. Don't wind up on the news for other reasons, 'kay?"
Wicked smashed the gem on the ground, enveloping herself and maybe Aya and Xombie in a thick grey fog. When the haze cleared she or they'd be nowhere to be found...

Aya grins and watches the chaos unfold. She wasn't sure what to make of the situation, but she was happy when Shotaro seemed to rile up whoever was watching the broadcast. It definitely pleased her, which was enough. She would love to continue this, but the intelligent side of her made her think. There was totally going to be backup now that they outed their positions. She knew when there was a fight she was going to lose, and she was not down for it. She'd follow Patty and Xombie out, but not before letting out a small excited chuckle. Things were gonna pick up soon, she was so hyped!

She beat the machine again and again, each dent and each blow started to give way so she could begin to rip into the wiring and other components to destroy it. At least, until the District Head threw the chair towards Gabriel. She finally decided this wouldn't be fast enough for the result she wanted, especially when the Psyche-Terrorists are beginning to leave. Instead, she'd do one last "productive" thing she could with the last bit of her strength. It would come hurtling towards his direction. Should it land, Gabriel would be stunned. Or at least he would be distracted for a moment.

There was a lot of things that were going on in the background, a bit much to Gabe's dismay but he had to deal with it regardless. One of the things that concerned him was the fact that he saw some of the terrorists leaving, that was a concern for him to wrap up this bad boy and get on out of here so that he could get the others on out of here. They did well, and it was about time that they wrapped it up.
However, it did make Gabe want to play on the fact that the constant banging was due to the fact that Superbia was trying to shut him down. "And that concludes today's broadcast, and before Superbia..."
As the chair flew in Gabe's direction in order to deter him, the preparatory action of picking up the chair and motioning it in Gabe's direction was more than enough of a signal that she was going to throw it at him. In addition to the fact that Gabe was about done with his speech, it was easy for him to evasively maneuver away from the chair's trajectory and keep himself safe from harm.
"Turns this into Wednesday night wrestling, I bid you all adieu! "
With a snap of his fingers, Pryoformer Shotaro would appear and reveal what was under his clothes, bombs!
"Bye bye!!!!!!"
In a taunting fashion as if he was going to blow himself and the rest of the place to hell, something of the sort DID happen, but not with the same collateral consequences. With the series of explosions itself, it became a bit of a bunch of fireworks that said "Brought to you by The Platinum Playhouse" in sparkles like letters as Gabe and the rest of his comrades was teleported away from the vicinity and out of harm's way.
The playhouse has left the building.

Spoiler:
—Strength Name: Evasive Maneuvers —Description: A means to dodge while still not fast enough in reflexes and in speed. It allows Gabe to rely on his own predictions of the opponent's thoughts, intentions, preparatory actions, and line of sight and for him to act beforehand.

Fusion Attack Name:Flame Trick "Hells Escape!" Persona Name: Pryoformer Shotaro Type of Damage: N/A Description:Shoraro reveals a ballistic vest full of bombs and apparently taunts before exploding. However, his distraction creates a bright light of flames that engulf's gabe and allies , serves as an escape route teleporting either Gabe himself of he and all of his allies out of the dungeon no matter where they are.

Tick, tock. Tick, tock. T's words still rung in her head. A race against time, but did he know this was happening? Was he just a distraction and this was their real objective all along? Something in the Wild Card's mind kept telling her it couldn't be that simple, but she didn't have time to think as she just kept dashing towards the entrance... and of course, when they were as close as could be, she saw it out of the corner of her eye. The flame fading, the light show inside, with Superbia's perspective burned into her mind.
Regardless, she ran in. Not in time, as the smoke settled in front of her.
//"Frustration."// The Wild Card grit her teeth as the connection was broken, and another Persona was brought to the front of her mind. //"Anger."// If they had been warned sooner, if they had been just a little bit faster. //"Pride."// If only she hadn't failed.
//"..."//
Before she knew it, her hand had already moved to grasp one of her guns, which pointed right at the camera before firing a single, deadly accurate bullet into it. Crack. Throughout Endymion, hundreds or perhaps even thousands of TV screens turned to complete static. The only sound audible was the dust settling, and a set of footsteps.
//"Kohryu."// With a muttered word, the golden dragon manifested behind Shiina as she stared passively at the tech operator and Superbia herself. Kohryu moved its massive body towards the power line, before jamming one of its orbs into the plug to drive a bolt of electricity through the room, shortcircuiting the transmission equipment. The feed cut out for good, at least for tonight, but as the lights went out the Wild Card still didn't allow her gaze to leave Superbia. If only she hadn't failed. If only she had called them earlier. //"...at least you're alive."//
That was all Shiina said as she turned around and began to walk outside, her eyes burning with frustration despite her face barely twitching. Kohryu howled before vanishing into golden particles that returned to the inside of Shiina's soul. At least the District Leader was useful by telling them what these Terrorists could do... even if she still failed.
Firing a single regular bullet at the camera that's currently turned on, 55 Gun damage if it even matters.
Switching to Kohryu.
Stormou | Moderate physical slash and Zio damage to a single opponent. | 16% HP | Tier 2 on the power line to cause an overcharge and shut down the power to the transmission.

"Almost there, almost there!"
The reassuring mantra rushed through her head as they zoomed towards their destination with as much speed as they could muster. Shadows from all around the Domain leaped to her and continually wrapped themselves around her feet with each step she took, dark streaks engulfing her and her comrades until they were little more than silhouettes soaring through the air, the image of Cecilia replaced by that of a spectre illuminated only through the golden glimmer of its otherworldly eyes. Yet when they finally reached the office at last she'd skid to a stop, shadows blown away by the blinding light of the Persona's explosive theatrics, the remaining terrorists vanishing in an instant and leaving behind a blank-faced fourteen-year-old girl frozen in her tracks. Standing there in silence while the yellow faded from eyes that'd swiftly become dull and lifeless, she turned her head to face the still-filming camera unsure of what to say or do, gazing directly at the audience for one split second before Shiina drew her weapon and fired a bullet straight into the lens. No longer exposed to the masses, the pink-haired Cadet allowed herself to fall to her knees, collapsing to the hard ground below and burying her face into her hands while the resounding wave of static pierced her ears.
"It is irrelevant. What use would you have been? Had you reached the room in time you'd still have failed; had the enemy been subdued the victory would belong to Jackie and Shiina, not to you. How much longer do you plan to delude yourself? How much longer are you going to damn them in your pla----"
Cecilia screamed. It was a guttural, vicious scream that she stifled into the padding of her gauntlets as best she could, a violent shriek that drowned out the incessant noises tearing her in two from the inside. But even though she managed to cut off Svalinn's ramblings it failed to completely stop the cacophony, failed to drown out the static and the emerging undercurrent of T's mocking laughter, a failure befitting of her performance tonight. The past and present became one, old echoes and new noises coming together until they were too indistinguishable to tell apart, until finally Cecilia snapped back to reality and found her eyes falling upon the frightened intern. She bit down on her tongue and cursed herself silently while shifting her focus between him and Superbia. Part of her wanted to stand up and try to salvage the image she was tarnishing, to reassure the boy or offer some kind of service to the District Leader, but deep down she knew it was already too late for that. Regardless of her behavior, there was nothing that could be done to shift this situation back to normalcy. Normal Cadets didn't fail after all, not as far as the public was concerned at least... and in a way showing otherwise was a failure unto itself.
"...I'm sorry..."

She wanted scream, yell, and throw a tantrum. They were gone and it was all her fault no matter what. There was no redeeming from this, the former District Head knew this. Even as the Cadets arrived to the scene, she just looked at them with a tired and gaunt expression. There was nothing left in her that wanted to say anything. Even as Shiina destroyed the equipment to shut off the broadcast, even as Cecilia screamed and apologized. Nor did she have any words for the intern she once trusted. Pride before the fall, they said. It was over.
There were footsteps approaching the room. When they entered, Superbia's eyes grew wide as saucers. No, there was another kind of end. Pride may have failed her and left her at the very gorge of failure. Even at the bottom of the gorge, it can fall even deeper ever so. The sway of hair and the dangling of the sword in the hip foretold of the near future for Superbia. Even she knew it in the marrow of her own bones as what remnants of pride began to crumble before giving birth to fear. The malignant aura radiating from this person and her severe visage was unmistakable as the intern began to shake in his boots. It was certain: Death has come.
"You let them get away."
Those words would have once caused fury into her. It was the unpleasant truth. She would have protested that she did the best she was able to work with. Swarmed by Psyche-Terrorists and worse yet, betrayed by her trusted intern. But coming from the Royal Guard, it was a condemnation. Not just to her standing, but to her very soul. She was being judged where she stood before judge, jury, and executioner. No words could even begin to spill out from her lips at first. But she finally fumbled for a couple. "Y-yes... But my i-intern, they made him do the broadcast! I-I even told him his career was over if he did!"
"I see."
The cold sweat began to profusely accumulate on the intern's back as Nameless began to approach him. Even worse yet, her hand grasped the hilt of her blade and began to draw it. There were many bad choices, but to think this would be his last one and the worst one of all. There was so much left to do and he thought he would've been free of his boss. It only turns out he was going to follow her to the grave, but him first. "N-no! Th-they threatened to kill me if I didn't do what they wanted! Please! D-don't do this!"
However, she didn't cease to continue to approach him. Slowly, but surely the blade began to leave the sheathe. Silent cold rage irradiated from the nameless royal guard. Each footstep felt like a countdown to an inevitable end.

The silence was suffocating. She wished there had been some response, some kind of reply to her apology even if it had just been Superbia screaming accusations at her or giving some kind of order, but instead they were all left to wallow in the deafening quiet... At least that had seemed to be the case at first. The sound of nearby footsteps would pierce the stillness and swiftly Cecilia's head would jerk in the direction of the approaching figure, her eyes widening momentarily in panic like the leader's had at the prospect of more terrorists arriving on the scene until they fell upon the source of the sound, a maskless woman who she vaguely recognized from the entrance ceremony and word-of-mouth. A wave of relief rushed over for her at this realization, but it'd prove all too short-lived as the icy indictment hurled at Superbia reached her ears, words delivered ruthlessly to-the-point that sent a chill down the Cadet's spine. Gulping and preparing to step aside, Cecilia would watch almost in admiration of her professionalism for a few seconds, envious of her calm and commanding demeanor... yet that naive outlook on the enforcer would be torn to shreds as her gaze turned to the man and her hand reached for her sword.
"Stop! Don't do it!"
Cecilia rushed forward with a surprisingly blinding burst of speed and skid to a stop, standing inbetween Nameless and the man with her arms outstretched horizontally in order to block off the path to him, her determined gaze fixated unfalteringly on the woman in spite of the fear she inspired. Droplets of blood seeped through her skin and a split second later a tide of it would rush out and fly behind her, splattering the intern's suit red from head to toe before the color faded away into transparency, any trace of what she had done disappearing save for a light angelic glow beginning to form around him. "He's just an ordinary civilain! What other choice did he have without anyone there to defend him? Hell, for all we know he might not've had a choice in the first place; the terrorists could've tampered with his mind like those clowns've been doing!"
"If you need to punish anyone then... then punish me! I was the one responsible for this blunder: I was the one leading my team to this room, I was the commanding officer, so it's my fault that we didn't arrive in time. If someone needs to die then it's me, not him!"
Action:
>Interrupt and intervene on his behalf (Class One Cadet Rank Required)
Soul Skill Name: Ichorous Prayer Persona Name: Svalinn Tier: Tier 2 Cost: 30 SP Type of Damage: Enhance Description: Cecilia utters a short prayer to Isla and taps into the innate power flowing through her goddess's blood. Mystically seeping through her skin and instantly closing any distance between her and her target, the ephemeral substance'll completely cover and coat any designated object within reasonable size (yes to weapons or cars, no to skyscrapers) and Cecilia's range of view. Imbued with the power of the holy blood, objects will become incredibly more durable for three turns and will prove themselves exceedingly resilient to any kind of real damage, remaining unscathed by any mundane means of attack short of nuclear (or similarly over-the-top) proportions. The only attribute of the objects that's affected so far is their durability, so any other aspects such as a sword's cutting power or a bullet's speed will remain unchanged. At this stage, the objects will also remain as vulnerable to supernatural attacks as they normally are, so a soulbound knife can cut through enhanced armor with the same ease that'd be experienced with or without the soul skill active.
Soul Skill Name: Ichorous Prayer+ Persona Name: Svalinn Tier: Tier 3 Cost: 30 SP Type of Damage: Enhance Description: This refinement of Ichorous Prayer retains all the effects of the original but builds upon the foundation established as well. Now targets enhanced by Ichorous Prayer possess the full properties of a soulbound as opposed to merely proving impervious against real damage. They can be summoned back to Cecilia or the ally wielding them at will, they deal Tier 2 dex damage when used offensively against an enemy (caster decides on each individual casting whether the marked item deals Slash, Strike, Pierce, or Gun damage), and most importantly they can clash with other soulbounds without fear of being destroyed like a normal weapon would. However, in becoming what's effectively a temporary soulbound weapon, they lose their ability to do real damage.
Used on the intern to shield him from damage and shit. Covers his entire outfit, so anywhere except spots where the skin is exposed like his neck should be as secure as armor.
Relevant(?) Strengths/Weaknesses:
—Strength Name: Real Damage, Real Schmamage! —Description: Cecilia's Cadet Uniform has been partially reinforced with a variety of durable metals. It isn't nearly as effective as a set of actual armor, but knives and other non-supernatural weapons will have a difficult time inflicting damage on her anywhere from her lower neck down to her lower abdomen.
—Strength Name: Determined —Description: Cecilia doesn't back down when the going gets tough. She earns courage points at 2x the usual rate.
—Weakness Name: Pacifistic —Description: Cecilia cannot and will not bring herself to harm a living being. The violence she witnessed during the Eternal Divide fucked with her developing mind to the point where the mere thought of hurting a living entity on any level or scale sickens her. As a result, she can never attack someone directly regardless of the circumstances. Her soulbound cannot be used to inflict damage, she doesn't get to carry a side-arm with her, her Persona can't use attack skills, she can't slap/punch/stab someone, etc. It doesn't matter if she's about to die or even if it means the downfall of the government -- she simply cannot bring herself to stain her hands with the blood of another. And while she does accept it as a necessary evil and will allow the rest of her party to kill, she will always advocate for a more peaceful route if her opinion is asked for -- especially when it's humans she's dealing with.
—Weakness Name: Skinny —Description: Cecilia isn't a pushover, but she's no walking mass of muscle either. Her skinny frame has resulted in her being less physically strong. Lifting heavy objects or pinning someone down to the ground isn't her strong suit by any means.
OOC Notes:
Excluded stats for the sake of saving time. Cecilia has more than enough SP for this stuff anyway, but if you want me to add them in then lemme know and I'll toss them in.

It wasn't easy to keep walking after seeing who arrived on the scene. The imposing figure, the icy glare, the air of aloofness that pushed away everyone those daggers she called eyes pointed at. The Queen's enforcer, the Nameless Guard. Shiina wanted to leave, but her presence planted her feet firmly in place as the woman's sheer aura froze her solid.
Fear.
An emotion that spread throughout her soul. The Magus Persona inside her boiled with disgust and anger, but even she bit her tongue in fear of the enforcer. Until they were allowed to leave, she should just watch, that's all she should ever do... follow orders, don't risk yourself, play the waiting game. And so Shiina turned her head aside.
"Stop! Don't do it!"
Disbelief. Confusion. Why would she stand up to her? Why would she risk her life for a treasonous nobody? Shiina's body reacted now, and suddenly the aura around Nameless didn't feel quite as overbearing as it used to. She was a Class 1 Cadet, both of them were... if she had to bite her tongue, what would that say about her determination? What would that say when she had to face Setai? What would that say when she had to face Setai?!
If the world won't change for you, then force the world to change regardless.
Shiina grit her teeth and turned around towards Nameless. She began to walk forward.
//"Treason, disrespect. This man is nothing more than a fool for believing someone who wouldn't even kill a District Leader would kill him of all people."// Her tongue was laced with poisonous words, but they were not aimed at the intern. //"However, this mission's failure only rests on the one who was defeated in the first place."// Against her best judgement, Shiina took to Cecilia's side and looked up at the Nameless Guard. //"His Highness wouldn't sacrifice a civilian simply because they were forced to act against their will. Regardless of his crime, death as a punishment would do nothing but cause senseless bloodshed."//
Foolish. This was idiotic, maybe even suicidal. Definitely self-harmful by definition. Why would they defy the Queen's personal guard? Her most trusted soldier, the most powerful person in all of Endymion aside from the Goddess herself. There was only one answer for this.
Because Shiina believed in the Prince's ideals more than some bloodthirsty blue-haired bimbo's who acted in the shadows like the ilk they were supposed to fight. Despite the suspicions she felt in the government's practices, the Prince had been nothing but a shining beacon of heroism due to his attitude and practices, and so she would even stand against the Queen herself for them.
No, she would stand against God Himself if it meant the world would follow her will.

"I can see Julius' misguided compassion rubbed off on all of you. So be it, he can be proud of your dedication on your graves."
The nameless guard found herself glaring at the two Cadets who dared to stop her. Her fury was becoming unbridled in every second and these women poured oil into the fire. This is why she truly loathed the Cadets run by Julius. They were unnecessary bleeding hearts that desired to give such filth a second chance. But second chances were a luxury, not a necessity. Given her prior background, there was no way would she ever see eye-to-eye with their kind. Nor did she ever plan to. She was her Highness' Blade. A honed peace of weaponry that refused to dull. Just in the split second after finishing her words, she swung. It was swift and sudden. The blade didn't even rasp or whistle through the air. It would find itself digging into Cecilia's neck--
"That's enough!"
The barking voice caused the Royal Guard's blade to stop short of cutting into Cecilia's skin. Nameless' eyes shot daggers right into Cecilia's very soul before turning her gaze towards the direction of the noise. Right towards the direction of the entrance stood the one and only Prince of Endymion, Julius. Of course their master just had to arrive in this moment. As much as her wrath continued to bubble violently, she spoke icily. "You find the most inopportune times to interrupt me, Julius. Your pets have obstructed my duty."
"Give them this reprieve for once. They've done important work tonight before stepping in here. Move your blade from her neck. I will deal with him." the Prince replied curtly. He remained composed, but there was a steely facade that the Cadets have never seen from him. It focused towards Nameless while as if ignoring his Cadets, Superbia, and even the intern. His hand remained relaxed as it began to clasp on the hilt of his blade as if readying himself to draw.
"He committed treason against this city. You would spare this low life? How kind of you," she spat out at him. The Prince narrowed his eyes at her and shook his head. "He won't be spared from the punishment that awaits him. But, a death penalty in this circumstance would be unnecessarily severe until further investigation. I understand you wish to sate your thirst for bloodshed, but continue to cut relentlessly and you would end up dulling yourself and hurting the Queen. As Mother's most trusted blade, you certainly don't want that, do you?"
It was her turn to narrow her eyes at him. The silence was almost palpable. Neither warrior moved, but they were just as ready to lash out. Just as Nameless didn't want back down, Julius didn't either. It wasn't until the woman relented grudgingly. She moved the blade away from Cecilia before walking towards Superbia. Her fury has not been quenched and Julius knew that. Even with the look of fear and horror beginning to spread the woman's face, he could not save her. But acceptance came as she looked back to Julius, almost longingly and in apology.
"Your Highness. I'm so--"
Nameless didn't even let her finish. The blade was already through her heart and the words could not leave Superbia. Only pain and the finality of her life. The Royal Guard slowly and deliberately twisted the blade in the woman's heart so it would churn as blood began to gurgle through her throat. Finally, she stopped to pull out a vermilion blade dripping with scarlet. The body collapsed to the floor with red beginning to spread onto the surface as life left her. The blade was swung to the side with enough force to fling off the blood to make it relatively spotless before wiping it with a disposable cloth from her pocket. As she simply flung it to the side, she gave one last glare at the bleeding corpse and then at the Prince before finally leaving while sheathing her blade.
Julius walked towards the fallen body. He noticed the wide open eyes lacking of light and gently closed them for her as he knelt near her side. It was over. This night was much more than he bargained for, that was for sure. He then put his attention towards the Cadets. He somberly told them. "I'll handle everything from here. You're dismissed."
