It happened so quickly and without warning. Who could've known the Psyche-Terrorists would be coming in here tonight? Whether his employer knew or not didn't matter at this point. They were here and they were gonna kill him. Neko Shogun knew this as a sweat began to crawl down his back. But he remained defiant, albeit unconvincingly. "H-hell no! Y-you killed my co-worker! W-what makes you think y-you can j-just walk all o-over me!?"

"Hahahaha, aaaaahahahahaaaa! Hehehehahahaha!" Wicked cackled maniacally at the demon's fright, partly to scare him but mostly because this totally was fun. Her giggles would taper off as she leaned in closer to the armored cat and took on a more serious tone of voice. "Because we killed your co-worker." She stood back up, lazily swinging her arms as she paced around, motioning at times with her revolver. "Killed'im in one shot, too! And he looked a hell of a lot stronger than you do! Hahahaaa... and that was just one of us." She'd purposefully flit her tone and mood from playful to serious just to freak him out, it was super satisfying to do. "Now you're outnumbered 6 to 1! Ahaha! ...your buddy didn't stand a chance against one of us, what makes you think you have one against all of us...? Hmmhmmhmmhaha those government heads aren't pushovers, ya know! ...ask Invidia just how dangerous we are."
So like, Patty had no idea what Invidia was, probably some head demon or whatever, but apparently Psyche Terrorists kicked his ass and they came dressed for the part, so she'd lie. Not like he knew any better. Wicked leaned in again with her gun hand casually on her hip. "Look, if we wanted to kill you any of us could've easily finished you off and still can if you do anything stupid buuuuuuuut I've got a weakness for black cats, ahehe..." She'd chuckle at her witch humor. Sure it was dumb and lame but she found it funny so fuck everyone else. "So yeah, you're dead if you don't do as we say, that's what makes me think I can walk all over you. Because I can. Like, that's not even a threat it's a fact. You've got ZERO percent chance of walking away from this unless you play my game! Heeheeheehahaaaa!" Wicked would pull the hammer back on her revolver and hold it at her hip. Hip-firing didn't fucking matter when your revolver shot shotgun shells. "We're willing to let you go as long as you do as Simon Says. Simon Says: gimme something we can use. Aheha, you DO NOT wanna lose this game, the penalty's kiiiiiiinda killer."

Note: Patty's SQs are all at Level 1 and she has character Strengths for lying and knowing how to push people's buttons. I'd link that stuff all pretty like but I'm sending this on mobile.

The demon's eyes widened at the reality of his situation. If they tangoed now, there was no way he was coming out alive, that much was true. Plus, that witch-looking chick creeped him out. He finally squeaked, "O-okay! Okay! J-just don't hurt me! I-I got some dough from a previous pay and some trinkets. Whaddya want?"

Wicked grinned beneath the shade of her hat and holstered her revolver back in her coat. "Wow, cats really are smart animals!" She didn't get to torch anything but it was still fun scaring him. The gun wasn't even loaded. Pssssssh, why would she wanna shoot'im when she could just point her staff at him and blow him to hell? "Looks like ya get to live today, lucky boy! Simon Says... give her something even more valuable." Patricia had an idea. So like, you could make pacts and shit with demons, right? That's how this worked? She could use a little more firepower, that was way better than money or stuff. Or like, she'd get a pet demon cat. That'd be pretty bitchin', not gonna lie. "Simon Says you're gonna help her out, by giving her your power. Or you'll get a taste of her power. Whadya say...?" Her tone was sweet and filled with venom toward the cat. The witch shot a look over her shoulder to the rest of her group that clearly thought she was a loose cannon. Which she was, but like, she wasn't a fucking psycho or anything. "Tsss, see? I can be reasonable sometimes. Like, he's gonna be fine as long as he does what I say." Wicked then turned to the Neko Shogun and glowered under her cap at it. "So you're gonna do it, riiiiiiiight?"

The demons lowered its head in deference before glowing a white light. He suddenly vanished into shards and divided between the entire party. They were now free to move on.

Well... shit. Patty didn't thank that'd work. Awesome! But it uh, turned into gems that floated into her hand instead of a cool cat familiar with armor and stuff. She woulda liked that better. The shards would go into the pockets of her robes as Tux claimed that there were more creatures that needed to get their heads stomped in. Her head would throb at the promise of more violence, causing her to wince. "Oh, nice! I call dibs on the creepiest-looking one!" Wicked chased after Gabe, giggling maniacally as she spun her staff between her fingers.

As the shards floated into his grasp, Revenant smilrd beneath the helmet as he stashed them away. It was interesting...for a demon, they weren't so unalike as they might be led to believe. "Of course, Neko Shogun. Apologies about your coworker."
As the others shift in position for the next fight, Revenant nods and follows.

Unison was wondering if they could have talked to BOTH demons, the one that was outright killed had seemed more worried about them, and may have been questioning their choice of employer, but whats done is done sadly, and at least one of the creatures was spared, though he was scared of the person that had asked for it's help, she only sighed, at the very least she wasn't as insane as she pretended to be, and that accounted for something, the shards flew into Unison's open hands and she held them carefully, "Don't worry, you'll be safe..." she whispered to them before slipping them into her pouch, she then headed after the others.
Strength Name: Supportive Soul ?Description: Nola is quite adept at the Support side of things, in combat she is far more proficient with Healing powers. (increases effectiveness by 15%)
Weakness Weakness Name: Non-aggressive ?Description: In combat Nola's Offensive buffs and attack abilities lack power as her personality is far removed from such feelings and wishes (-15% damage)

Wicked didn't really get why everyone felt sorry for the demons. Like, they were demons. They killed people and stuff, they sorta had this coming. But as they rounded the corner she'd come face to face with a familiar sight. A fucking angel. Okay, so like she called the funny looking one but she was about to let that slide this time. Patricia had a particular newfound hatred for angels considering the night before they tried to murder her. Tit for tat, bitch. "HEY BITCH! You're about to be holier than fucking thou!" she'd shout in opposition as she pointed her staff toward and it and let the raw magic discharge.
Action:

Cecil's interest in actively pursuing a relationship is very low, and he lacks any particularly strong attraction to any of the people around him. The chances of Cecil being Charmed are 15% lower than normal.
—Strength Name: A Desire to Change —Description: "This...this isn't good enough. I can do this. I want to do this! I just. Have. To do it!" There's many places Cecil's fallen short. Many places where he could do better. And despite his issues, he genuinely wants to better himself, and is more than happy to take any assistance offered in doing so. Buffs received by Cecil increase his stats by an extra 10%.
—Strength Name: Through Thick and Thin —Description: "I really don't have many good friends. Put bluntly, it sucks. So...I'm glad you're here. You put your faith in me. I'll do right by you." As one familiar to loneliness and misery, a good friend means more to Cecil than it might to others, and he has a deep appreciation for everything they do for him. It makes him a lot happier than he'd otherwise be. When Cecil receives healing from someone he has at least a Rank 3 Social Link with, he recovers 10% more health than normal.
—Weakness Name: Mounting Stress —Description: Beneath the surface, it bubbles away, a vicious cocktail of miseries and frustrations with his current existence. And he's no clue how to release them. Cecil lives with a persistent emotional tension that is often not so much relieved as it is pushed from perception. The chances of Cecil becoming Distressed or Panicked are 10% higher than normal.
—Weakness Name: Fleeting Highs, Crushing Lows —Description: "You know...I really have to be glad for the good times I have. It makes everything else a bit more bearable." As he is now, Cecil finds it hard to keep his mood up. The negativity is pervasive, that nagging awareness in the back of his mind of all that is wrong and the things he's done wrong, dragging him down further and further the longer he's in its grip. When things are bad, it just gets worse. Debuffs inflicted on Cecil reduce his stats by an extra 10%.
—Weakness Name: Broken Bottle —Description: It builds...moment by moment, the pressure builds. Higher and higher, pushing harder and harder...until eventually, the bottle breaks, and the shards fly like shrapnel. Cecil can't keep things bottled up forever. Most of his feelings are deeply suppressed, and when he's finally pushed far enough that his emotions are let loose, he gets overwhelmed from the tidal wave flowing over him. This causes him to pretty much break down. Badly. While Cecil is suffering from Rage, Panic, Distress, or Fear, he takes 10% more damage than he would normally.

Unison looked at the enemy and ten her allies as she judged what she should do, honestly it seemed like the best Idea was to see what would happen and what skills the enemies had so she raised her arms and got in a defensive stance.
