| As Luna was taken I͏͎n͉̬͓͍̝̺ṣ̩̮̻̪̲i̪̯̦d҉̱͍͚̯͎ḙ̮̗͓͉̰̳ the cave she would begin to feel a strange dissonance between her body and mind. As if one was being pulled from the other as the sound of drips and drops of water echoed through the cavern, bouncing off the walls and out the entrance she had yet to cross. As the turtle approached the mouth of the exit of the entrance of the exit of the entrance of the cave it turned and smiled to Luna. It's eyes were filled with such a deep sadness, morning the once great and majestic creature that it had been. Even as it dived deeper and deeper into the sky above the bottom of the cave and approached the entrance's exit it could not quite understand where or what it was. All that was certain was that Luna had yet to enter the maw of what was not quite yet a cave, as it's entrance was blocked by a thin web of sewn together skin that had once belonged to beings that were once but no longer could truly be called Luna's parents and loved ones. Luna's eyes drooped as the static grew louder. --- -- - Luna awoke with a start on the beach. A painful rawness comeing from her left hand where a small patch of her scales and skin had been removed, leaving an open bleeding wound. | |

| There was... An oddity about all this. Everything felt wrong, different, yet similar. Her head was spinning but she could still see what she needed to. Yet also see that which she left behind. Her past, her deep past. Way before even the Realm of Shadows. Faces she recognized yet couldn't put names too, places she'd been yet didn't know how to get around. The cave, the turtle... Then nothing. "Hugnnnn... Owz..." Luna would suddenly find herself fully awake on some beach, she'd sit up quickly before feeling a sharp pain in her hand and staring at it in disbelief. How had... What had done this to her? Her body was meant to be immortal, w-wasn't it? What even was she just doing? All she could remember was a cave and some weird turtle. Did the stupid turtle do this to her!? The dragon would shove herself to her feet and take a good glance around at her surroundings, trying to figure out where abouts she actually was in relation to where she had just lost all consciousness. | |

| The sandy beach that Luna found herself on would seem oddly familiar... devoid of life... and with a lush forest behind it. | |

| Bwnnn... How had she ended up back where she started? Did something carry her back here? Had she somehow wandered back here without remembering doing so...? Did... Anything that she did on the island even happen to begin with? Gah, why did her hand hurt so much. It felt so weird, stupid island. Even though this was all puzzling her and she had no real answers to speak of, there was no way the Great Dragon would let a stupid turtle island mess with her like that. As such, she'd begin to retrace her steps into the forest in search for that giant hole she'd found before. All the while keeping an eye out if she could spot the puffy volcano or hear the moans of the stupid turtle. "Stupidz islandz. No onez messez with the Great Dragonz of the Sea!" | |

| The young dragon was able to retrace it's steps easily, returning to where it had slain the beast prior. Unlike last time, however, she would find the worm's corpse where she had left it, freshly dead and leaking a bright red blood. In the distance the volcano was quiet. The Island was stationary. The turtle's cry could not be heard. | |

| So... Everything had happened. The stupid worms body was proof of that, at least sort of. It was still different from before and just to be sure, just like last time she would whip herself round to slice open the decaying beast with her tail to see if the same black stuff would appear from last time. Regardless of if it did or not however wouldn't matter. If it did reappear, then she wouldn't bother with it as like from before she'd probably get nowhere. Whereas if it now just bled normally... Who cares? That was what all mortals did.
"Tsss..." The dragon would hiss as she tried to ignore the pain in her hand, looking back up towards where the volcano sat. Yet despite that being where she had gone last time, she saw no real reason to explore back up that way and instead tried to work out in her head which way she went from there to get to the turtles head and began her trek in that direction. If the worm was real, then was the rest of it real too...? She had to admit, as much as the worm itself was an oddity, everything did seem to get weirder and weirder after she had killed it. Wonder if she could still spot that odd cave from where the turtles head was too...? That was... The last thing she remembered seeing.

| Luna would be able to trace her steps back to where the turtle's head was; however, there would be no signs of the turtle anywhere. Had that part been a hallucination or dream? Perhaps and then again perhaps not for in the distance there was something the dragon could spot. The cave the turtle had taken her to it existed out there in the waves. | |

| "Hmphz." The dragon would hiss to herself when the head of the turtle was no where to be seen, yet the whole place aside from that looked the exact same. There was no way she could of dreamed up the entire area before ever actually visiting it and it now being completely different. With an annoyed look, Luna would glare at the sight of the cave she'd seen whilst riding the turtle before. If she was going to get to the bottom of all this, that was the only reasonable place she could think of to go next... Though jumping in the water with her hand the way it was is going to suck.
She had to get off of the stupid island eventually though so she'd suck it up for now and dive into the ocean waves, her hand stinging like hell, making her cringe for a moment before putting it to the back of her mind to swim as quickly as she could towards the cave entrance. Stopping slightly in front of it to pop her head out of the water and stare inside, looking for anything strange going on. She'd even go back under water for a moment to see if she could see anything in that direction under the waves.

| The waves would lap around her in their usual peaceful fashion as the dragon decided to observe the cave. When she looked towards the inside, she would find in her view the large web made not of silk, but of flesh hanging there. The twisted mass would silently dance as the wind blew against it and made its way into the cave causing a strange song as it echoed off the rocks and water within. When the dragon looked underneath the water, she would not see much there. Just water shifting from light to dark as it was swallowed into the cave; however, just like the island the usual sea life would be absent from the area. |

| "The hellz iz thiz?" The Dragon would stare curiously at the strange hanging decoration that hung at the front of the cave. She'd never seen anything like this before, that was for sure. Something vaguely similar back in the Realm of Shadows perhaps. Though it was still an oddity to the light red scaled dragon. One that she wasn't a fan of, especially with the bad mood she was in with how confusing the recent events had been alongside the stupid sting in her hand. "Whateverz it iz, it'z damn uglyz." Luna would growl before diving under the water to get a swimming start before launching herself up out of the water and slashing the web of skin with her sharp tail. Regardless of if it broke or not, the dragon would continue to dive back into the water and swim into the cave with a huff. There was no way she was leaving until she found out exactly what had happened earlier! | |

| The dragon would question, but no one would answer as the skin web simply waved in the wind. As it waved the dragon would discover where her missing skin went, a patch of distinctive light red waving among the other skins, but how did it get there? When and how was a mystery left unanswered. When Luna decided to attack the web, she’d find that her tail did indeed slice the skin easily. The web would tear with the odd sound of ripping flesh as a dark black substance sprayed from the web and into the air. From somewhere both near and far there was an eerie scream like something was in pain though nothing showed up to attack her or reveal what exactly had made the sound. Flopping to the side, the web would continue to leak staining some sections of the water black as the strange liquid dripped into the clear waters and began to form odd pools. The pools did not seem to come after her though, the black lakes staying in their respectives spots to either side of the cave as the dragon swam in. As she went further in the cave ceiling would lower until she had no choice, but to remain under the water to continue forward. The path way below would scoop downward and become a strange winding path of rocks that pressed in together. By pressing forward, the floor of the cave would begin to scoop upward and in turn the path became a bit wider as light flooded through the deep waters. In time the cave’s ceiling would rise up again allowing the dragon to surface and see ahead sunshine and a shoreline of some sort. |

| With the webbing cut, Luna would take note of the odd screech around her. So this was connected to something, strange. The dragon would smirk slightly to herself though, at least she knew she was on the right track now to figure this all out. Taking quick note of the black pools that started leaking from the cut skin, Luna would do her best to avoid it completely as she dived under the water and followed the waterway. It was no issue for her with how fast she could swim and the fact she could breath underwater, it didn't take the red scaled reptilian long to reach the other side and notice the sunlight pouring into the underwater cavern. Tsk. Was this whole thing a worthless trip? What could possibly be different on the other side of the cave. Unless she was now in some kind of lagoon in the middle of an island. | |

| If the dragon decided to go to the surface, she would find herself coming out of the cave onto a small beach surround by low cliffs. Above was a grassy landscape that she could explore if she so chose to; however. she would find she wouldn't have to go far to find something interesting. Some feet away from her rested a strange metallic and black object jutting from the wall of the cliff in front of her. It was a structure that was clearly man made and something that did not belong in this otherwise peaceful place. Even more curious was what was upon that low and strange black object - a book bound with thin string to keep its pages from blowing in the constant wind that surrounded the area. |

| "Hmz..." Luna would surface and look around herself, honestly a little disappointed that there wasn't something a little more innately interesting here. Though at least it was something and not just the other side of the island entirely with just ocean behind it. Still though, with all the weird stuff that had been going on and especially with that odd entanglement of flesh she'd seen coming into this place. The dragon had expected something more than this.
No matter, after fully scanning the area. There was at least one thing of interest here. Something odd, something that definitely didn't belong. Who would of made something like this way out in the middle of nowhere like this? Even if she was on a revenge mission for whatever had hurt her hand, the red reptilian wasn't stupid. This was clearly a trap of some kind. Something like this wasn't just lying around every corner for any old person to stumble upon. So with no urgent curiosity or care to know what the book atop the structure held, she instead would take a moment to take a better look at what exactly it was she was dealing with here. No chance she'd let whoever'd hurt her out smart her twice in one day!

| As the other took a look at that the structure, she would find that the material of the black thing was actually black metal that had long since lost its shine. If one listened carefully there was a slight hum there suggesting that whatever it was still had power going to it. Outside of that there was no panel or buttons on it. The surface mostly smooth with a few dents and scratches here and there from weather no doubt as sand caked within those crevices.
"It won't hurt you," a soft male voice would say from behind her after some silence had passed. If the dragon was to turn she'd see two figures near the shore. One dressed in a tan hooded cloak and strange travel clothing and the other dressed similarly, but instead in all black. Both faces were shadowed by their hoods, but the one who had spoken - the one in tan -- wore a gentle smile on the part of his face that could be seen. Though question was where had they come from to begin with and how were they so quiet? Was this another strangeness of this place or something else?
