The Secret Garden

Much like Lucian, it seemed the general populace of Junction had chosen to move on with their lives – not because they wanted to, but because they had to. Sure, they were all restless (and with good reason), but it seemed as if life could continue for now. Everyone had something they had to do, and so did Lucian; namely, he had to go shopping for tonight’s dinner meeting with his newfound allies.

The commercial district was packed as always, but the people were noticeably less lively about their daily grind. There was a cloud of fear looming over all species of Junction; fear of the unknown. Despite feeling the same way, Lucian couldn’t help but feel a tinge of curiosity. There was clearly an explanation to everything that had transpired so far, from the power of Persona to the so called “corruption” to the strange gates popping up left and right, and Lucian felt it was his duty to find what this explanation was.

As he walked through an alleyway, however, a rumored appearance caught his eye from within it. The President was skeptical… on one hand he had no idea where these things led or what they would do to him, but from what rumors that spread around Junction had led him to believe, people who went into them came back out generally unharmed…

Feeling it a bit hypocritical to have thoughts about how this mystery was now his duty and not take this opportunity to unravel it – even if just by a small margin – Lucian took a risk and reached out to the gate, bracing himself for the world on the other side.
