The Witching Hour [Patricia's Awakening Topic]

Cecil frowned. There was definitely something wrong here, and if he wasn't sure before, he definitely was now. She was acting worse than before, she didn't seem entirely sane in the first place, her persona looked like it was just doing whatever the hell it liked. At this moment in time, he was hesitant to go anywhere just yet in case she did something crazy.
He really didn't want to know what would happen right now if someone else caught her attention.

For now, he just sighs. "You likely won't find much to exercise your powers on, right now."
He looks over at Bridgette, wary of the warped persona. "...how much of what she is doing is something you wanted from her?"

Patricia pulled herself off of her staff that she was leaning and began to spin it in her fingers, pacing around the knight as she spoke and gestured.
"Y'know, that's really a matter of opinion..." she vaguely threatened. Thunder rolled a foreboding warning the distance with the dripping of rain. The witch didn't speak for the longest time while the wind and storm howled.
"........but you're right. I mean, it's not like there's anything here that's worth fighting, right?" It was a sly dig, pretty far under the radar. The black knight was included in anything of course, but she wasn't worried about offending him with that one. She didn't think he could do anything about it if he wanted to.

His concerning question was responded to with a cupped hand from her spiritual witch guardian, hissing into her ear.
If Patricia felt any sort of anger it didn't show in her blank face or confident voice, she continued to pace about while slowly fidgeting her staff in circles.
"Oh she does exactly what I want her to do. I wanted to turn those assholes into burn marks and she did, while keeping both you and I safe. Duuuuude, I've got this." Of course she did everything Patricia wanted. She wanted the angels to die and they died, what was his problem? But she wasn't going to let his shallow and selfish concerns bring her down, she was used to people not giving a shit and picked up the habit. He didn't matter and she didn't care what he thought. Or whatever he'd try to do.

Patricia ended her twirl by throwing her staff upward and catching it, shrugging outwards.
"Whatever, not a problem. I just need to go find something else to occupy my time and energy. Well, it's been fun! Stay chill!" While she had been talking Patricia had been performing the old walk-backward-to-exit-the-conversation trick. Seriously there was nothing here. She wanted to fight more things. Or go drink. Or get high. But none of that was here and that was a problem, she would need to hunt around for more of them if she wanted to toast some angels. And like get out of the rain. Like the hat helped but seriously dude it was fucking pouring. Patricia bounced her staff on the ground to catch it with the opposite hand as she turned in a purposed jog down the empty street. She wouldn't question where the black knight came from. She wouldn't consider that the pretty boy offering her a spot in their club was fishy. Patty wasn't concerned with any of that. What she knew is that it gave her an excuse to join the anarchist's masquerade and she could use a little more excitement to balance out the suck.

Status:

It was a tense silence as Patty paced about. Cecil didn't know whether she would actually follow through on what she'd said, and he was prepared to act if he had to. He simply kept silent and watched her move, making sure not to make a move of his own, or give her a reaction to feed off of otherwise.
It's relieving when she proves she doesn't intend to attack...though the insult wasn't nearly so subtle as she thought it was.
Not that it mattered.

Cecil wasn't convinced of what she said, let alone given that her persona seemed to be whispering things in her ear. She'd easily said that her persona did what she asked.
But that wasn't quite the same as what he'd asked. He wasn't sure if she realised that, or if she was deliberately avoiding the though...but it said enough for now. Not wanting to push it, he simply shrugs. "Very well then."

He doesn't reply as Patricia leaves. He doesn't follow her either. There wasn't anything else he could do there. Instead, he makes his own distance from the girl, and eventually the sound of his footsteps changes as he returns to normal.
...I might have to be careful from now on.
Perhaps. But you have other matters to attend to.
I know, I know.
Cecil continues on his prior path, now given something new to think about.
