Suck suck suck suck suuuuuuuuck.
First she had to come to work in the first place even if she was able to bullshit her way into not getting written up, then she got the rush, then her boss didn't show at close to get the key and Patty had to count money alone in a vacant store at night. Because that's not fuckin' creepy at all. It was pretty damn tempting to fuck him over, it'd be easy. Probably also pretty fun to do. But she couldn't lose this job, right now it's all she really had. Rules stated that she had to hold a job for a minimum of six months consecutively with no more than a one month gap in between periods in a time span no longer than two years. Soooooo it kinda took forever to get this job and the job hunt sucked so here it was. Besides, if you're going to break the rules you need to be subtle about it. So before she clocked out and before the store owner showed up Patty bought herself an "energy drink". At least she rung it up as an energy drink, it was actually a 4Loko but she didn't think he took that good of stock and seriously doubted the cameras could tell what it was. It was just a colorful can, what would anyone expect?
But now it was fucking raining. That was great. No seriously that was absolutely the exact thing she wanted on her walk to the station, to get soaked through her uniform. Because laundry at two in the damn morning wasn't on her to-do list. Patricia scowled and braved the downpour anyway, she wasn't getting any less wet and any closer to home by waiting outside a close shop past midnight. She fretfully lit a cigarette by shielding the flame in her jacket, as long as she tilted her head downward the brim of her cap would protect it from going out. Smoking in the rain totally sucked ass. Her sneaks splashed through puddles as she made her way up the vacant street, popping the tab on her booze and taking a numbing swig of it. It might make the train ride home go better. ...fuck she should've bought more than one, it was just going to leave her feeling unsatisfied when she got back to the dorms and didn't have anything else to drink until sunrise. Whatever. Fuck it. She'd probably catch a cold from the fucking rainy bullshit anyway.

It was dark, and a rain poured down on the streets. It surely was no time for people to be roaming around and most citizens knew better, but the teenager found herself force into this bad spot. And soon it was about to get much worse than it already was.
Lighting struck in the distance, causing a loud thunder to crack and echoed through the city, even causing some nearby windows to vibrate. The rain started to pick up, and then a cold gust of wind blew past Patty for a moment, it felt like an omen of things to come.
"...Child of men..."
A soft voice called from the dark..

Wrapped up in a coat, Cecil kept a brisk pace. He had somewhere else he needed to be tonight, and he needed to make sure he was ready once he was there. As he strode onward in the rain, a couple of things caught his attention. First was the presence of the girl from the arcade, who seemed...soaked. The second was the fact that there were voices coming from the dark... He had a bad feeling about this.
Ankou? You ready for if something happens? Just as much as you are.

Of course it would have to rain just as she was leaving work. Not before, not all day like you'd expect it to. Nope. Just when it had to suck the most. Whatever, not like she could do much about it except pick up the pace. She didn't bring an umbrella because they looked pretty dumb and it wouldn't help with the wind anyway, plus her hands were fool. The degenerate indulged more in her substances as she shivered in the gale, flinching at the boom of thunder that rocketed through the air. And then it got worse. The beatdown the storm was giving her put out her cigarette like God was sick of her shit. Patricia couldn't help but smile. It was funny! Not like funny funny but like cosmically tragically funny, y'know? Like, of course everything has to line up just right to give her a shitty day. The party girl peeled her slick hood off and staggered herself to drain almost half of her beverage on the spot, might as well now since she couldn't fucking smoke.
She rocked her head forward gulping the liquid down and began to laugh at just how stupid everything was. "Aaaaah ha ha ha haaaaaa!" she cackled with a toothy grin up to the dark clouds, "C'mon motherfuckeeeeer! Keep raining, c'mon! Send that shit my way, fuck you!" Maybe it was two-thirds of a can of 4Loko. Maybe it was just how shitty her day was. Maybe it was the fact that Patty was exactly the kind of person who would yell for no reason past midnight on a week day. Or maybe it was the chill on the wind that carried something wicked with it. For most people it was a reason to be apprehensive and anxious, but to Patty this was different. That cold creep up your spine either meant something terrible was about to happen or something incredibly exciting. She could never tell the difference. The foreboding thickness of the air was like crackling electricity to her, the warning bells were fireworks. The whispering voice caused her to turn her body a bit but she welcomed whatever was about to come next. Crazy muggers, a psychopath serial killer, fucking demons and shit it really didn't matter because the downhill slide already started. It was only going to get funnier.

"What is this debauchery?"
The voice was now loud and booming, it belonged to a towering figure with wide red wings, it was accompanied by two scantly clad winged women. The Angel looked down upon the teenager, the disgust in his eyes were noticeable.
"Your degeneracy will not go unpunished." The Archangel stepped forward and raised his sword up high in anger, ready to strike down the delinquent. However, in the face of danger something inside Patty had awoken, it clawed on the back of her mind wanting to be liberated. It was power for her to take, all she had to do was to reach for it...
Spoiler:
Patty may awake to her potential now

It was only when the thundering of the angel rang louder than the original lightning strike did the fear set in. Just as always when reality finally struck it hit hard and Patty realized just how much trouble she was in given all her earlier bravado. Her laughter froze into a slack-jawed look of shock as she was stared down by the angel through the haze of the storm. It glowered down at her like some kind of... some kind of thing and time slowed down for a brief moment. The ridiculousness of the moment processed through her mind. It started getting funny again. Here she was at the end of a long shift at the end of a long school day, she got stuck with the brunt of the bitch work and forced to work involuntary overtime she was told she was not getting paid for, it was pouring rain outside and just as she had been setting herself back on track, after all the good and moral upstanding she did trying to involve herself in school activities and working her first real job that was when God was sick of her shit and decided that she needed to die here. Now. Her panicked expression once again reflected bemusement as she began to chuckle.
"Aheh... ah ha ha ha are you fucking serious ha ha ha!" Her maniacal laughter continued as the divine being raised its blade, prepared to send her down below where everyone thought she fit in best. But deep within herself she could feel a drawing pulse like a heartbeat, buzzing through her brain like a shockwave.
No one would care if you died.
"Aha, aha... ah heh heh ha ha ha how fuckin' awesome is this!?" Patricia held a hand to her head, her skull becoming pained with the breathless laughter that overcame her.
After all you're just a problem for other people to deal with. At worst you're a burden to everyone, at best? You're just the entertainment.
"Ha ha ha well!? Just what the hell are you waiting for!?" The soft clink of a chain could be heard as a set ethereal blue handcuffs appeared around her left wrist. Only the left one, only the one, dangling freely in the wind. Patty continued to laugh and to goad the angel.
If they don't care why should you? Seems kinda dumb if you ask me.
"Do it. Do it, bitch! Fucking do it!"
Patricia threw her arms out to the divine beings, to the rain and the wind and impending death. She was prepared to throw it all away even now at a moment's notice. That was the life she lived. There were no tears, not even a hint of sadness, only a daring and challenging grin.
Who are they to tell you how to live? How to die? You're your own woman. Show them.
The glowing handcuffs would unlock on their own and drop toward the ground as the sword swung down.
KRRRRSH!
A flash of lightning would roar with a mighty thunderclap as the handcuffs shattered upon the ground. No longer did a degenerate punk stand where Patty once stood. A dark figure in a large coat flapping in the wind took her place, her face blackened with glowing yellow eyes beneath the large brimmed hat that was dripped in the storm. A floating woman in blue and pink hovered before Patty, meeting the steel with her staff.
"Yeeeeeaaaaah I really don't think so."
The cloak-clad witch set her feet, materializing a long staff of her own with a wave of her fingertips as she pulled down the brim of her steepled cap.
"Ooooooh, sorry! Good try, wanna give it another shot?"

No! Taking off towards Patty, the mask of his persona overtook Cecil, raindrops impacting his helmet as his armour formed over him. He wasn't letting this happen. He wasn't letting that thing just kill her. Even if she seemed to accept it, he didn't, calling Ankou to the forefront of his mind in preparation to defend her-
Only for the strike to be blocked without his intervention, as a very familiar process took place before his eyes. She's got one too.
Clad in his dark armour, Cecil stepped up by Patricia, and called his weapon to hand. In the moment he took to take up his stance, he took the chance to centre himself, and make sure he wouldn't be speaking as normal. His affected tones echoed from his helmet as he finally spoke. "It seems you can handle yourself. But still, allow me to assist."

Patricia could feel the intoxicating power course through her as she smiled evilly beneath the shade of her hat. Hefting her staff in her hand she would twirl it in her fingers, marching toward the angels purposefully. She was going to enjoy this, holy shit was she gonna enjoy it. For a while now she'd been careful to watch herself, only break one rule at a time, back off or get smacked down but tonight it was time to let loose and really have a good time. As she walked toward Heaven's crew of rejects she wasn't alone. Another Terrorist (it was kind of obvious now) decided to join her. Good. Fights with friends always got more hectic. There was just one little detail. "Go nuts," she echoed toward the black knight with a cursory glance, "Just remember that I saw'em first. I have some... personal issues I need to work through."
And just like that even more would show up. It was like getting inducted Fight Club or some shit, pretty fuckin' cool. Most people would be concerned about this situation or prepare to fight for their lives but Patty was totally different. This wasn't a battle to the death it was a chance to let'er rip and see just what she was capable of. Questions could be answered later, or never, it didn't really matter. She'd make her own way if she had to. Patricia's eyes shot up toward where her gift of violence came from but couldn't catch her benefactor. As Patricia stooped over to pick up her new toy she would point toward the black knight with her staff, glowing with a blue aura. Bridgette Bishop, the First Salem Witch would appear from the ether to hang off the back of the guys shoulders whispering sweet nothings to him.
"My heroooo~<3! We're counting on you to defend us, Sir Knight!"
Before fading away again she would give him a peck on the side of the helmet, her encouraging lies spurring his resolve. Patricia could be found calmly standing in the downpour, loading shotgun shells slowly into her handcannon as her eyes bore gleefully into the angels before the two. "Oh ho ho man is this about to suck for you..."

She often knows just the right things to say to make someone angry or sad or impressed just by paying attention to their temperament and context clues, an essential skill in living the life she does. Her Persona also applies this sort of analytical mindset and can hammer the gap effectively when needed.
When Patty hits attacks an enemy's Weakness her attack is boosted by 10%. The attack power is boosted, not the damage, meaning this also applies to clashing.
—Strength Name: Driven —Description: When Patricia finds something she wants accomplished she will stop at nothing to see it done. Late nights, days of preparation and hard work, even unsavory tactics, anything to get what she thinks she deserves. Her Persona adopts the same attitude and if Patty wants an enemy gone it puts blood, sweat, and soul into making it disappear.
Patty's PMstr is boosted by 15%.
—Strength Name: Give In To the Urge —Description: Patricia happens to be impulsive and prone to making bad decisions without thinking. Suffice to say her Persona Overdose feels intoxicating with the extra power it grants her, and she willingly gives herself over to violent urges and wanton destruction that she never gets to express in daily life.
Patricia's Persona Overdose lasts for 4 turns instead of 3.

—Weakness Name: Half Assed —Description: Patricia can be completely committed to something and give 110% toward something she finds worthwhile. Other things... not so much. If Patty doesn't enjoy something and isn't forced by others to perform she just won't give it any effort at all. This reflects across her Persona, who similarly won't put any heart into attacks it's not good at.
Patricia's PPstr is reduced by 15%.
—Weakness Name: It'll Come Back to Haunt You —Description: What feels good in the moment isn't exactly the best thing for you, a lesson Patty has yet to learn. Something seemed different about her, and he wasn't sure if that was a good thing. It seemed similar to the way this armour emboldened him...and yet, so very different. Brushing that aside, Cecil nods at Patricia."Very well then. Who would I be to deny you?"
A familiar voice tossed down firearms, and with his partner's gesture there was suddenly a sweet voice in his ear. It was a voice that emboldened him, that made him want to do all he could. His gaze turned to the trio before him, determined to stand firm in the face of their threat.
He smiled a little under the helmet. "I believe they say that to forgive is divine." With a little force of will, a cadre of spirits infused themselves into his weapons again. "A shame they seem to have forgotten that."
Currently receiving a 55% defence buff from Rakukaja due to Strengths. Turn 1/3.
Skills:
Hack & Slash | Inflicts a small amount of Slash damage twice to one enemy. | 8% HP | Tier 1
Mamudo | 20% chance of instant death from the power of Darkness to all enemies. | 12 SP | Tier 1
Stagnant Air | Increases all allies' and enemies' susceptibility to ailments and light/dark spells by 20% for three turns. | 5 SP | Tier 1
Dark Arts | Moderate physical slash damage with a 20% chance of instant death through Mudo to a single opponent. | 16% HP | Tier 2
Soul Skill - Reaping Arms: Description: The target's weapon becomes a ghostly version of its normal form, changing its effect on those struck by it. Target's DEX attacks deal Dark damage instead of their normal damage type for the duration of the effect. Lasts for 3 turns. Cost: 6 SP Tier: 1
Relevant Strengths/Weaknesses:
—Strength Name: Romantically Uninclined —Description: "What? No, I'm not interested in anyone. If it happens, it happens, alright?" Cecil's interest in actively pursuing a relationship is very low, and he lacks any particularly strong attraction to any of the people around him. The chances of Cecil being Charmed are 15% lower than normal.
—Strength Name: A Desire to Change —Description: "This...this isn't good enough. I can do this. I want to do this! I just. Have. To do it!" There's many places Cecil's fallen short. Many places where he could do better. And despite his issues, he genuinely wants to better himself, and is more than happy to take any assistance offered in doing so. Buffs received by Cecil increase his stats by an extra 10%.
—Strength Name: Through Thick and Thin —Description: "I really don't have many good friends. Put bluntly, it sucks. So...I'm glad you're here. You put your faith in me. I'll do right by you." As one familiar to loneliness and misery, a good friend means more to Cecil than it might to others, and he has a deep appreciation for everything they do for him. It makes him a lot happier than he'd otherwise be. When Cecil receives healing from someone he has at least a Rank 3 Social Link with, he recovers 10% more health than normal.
—Weakness Name: Mounting Stress —Description: Beneath the surface, it bubbles away, a vicious cocktail of miseries and frustrations with his current existence. And he's no clue how to release them. Cecil lives with a persistent emotional tension that is often not so much relieved as it is pushed from perception. The chances of Cecil becoming Distressed or Panicked are 10% higher than normal.
—Weakness Name: Fleeting Highs, Crushing Lows —Description: "You know...I really have to be glad for the good times I have. It makes everything else a bit more bearable." As he is now, Cecil finds it hard to keep his mood up. The negativity is pervasive, that nagging awareness in the back of his mind of all that is wrong and the things he's done wrong, dragging him down further and further the longer he's in its grip. When things are bad, it just gets worse. Debuffs inflicted on Cecil reduce his stats by an extra 10%.
—Weakness Name: Broken Bottle —Description: It builds...moment by moment, the pressure builds. Higher and higher, pushing harder and harder...until eventually, the bottle breaks, and the shards fly like shrapnel. Cecil can't keep things bottled up forever. Most of his feelings are deeply suppressed, and when he's finally pushed far enough that his emotions are let loose, he gets overwhelmed from the tidal wave flowing over him. This causes him to pretty much break down. Badly. While Cecil is suffering from Rage, Panic, Distress, or Fear, he takes 10% more damage than he would normally.
Action:
Using Reaping Arms on myself. Cecil's Dex attacks deal Dark damage for the next 3 turns. Current SP: 85/91.

Patricia did nothing as the sizzling ball of fire engulfed her, brushing herself off as the smoke cleared. It didn't really hurt just kind of singed her a bit like flicking ash the wrong way, even then the rain didn't do the flame any favors. Looked pretty cool though. Patricia coolly finished loading her handcannon with a flick of the wrist, snapping the chamber into the revolver. Bridgette would appear behind her in her glowing sapphire aura to cup a hand over her ear.
"They're just like everyone else, huh? They're out to get you just for being you because they can't wrap their heads around how someone can live their life differently and be content with that. But you can take them, their strongest assault barely even scratched you. They're nothing compared to what you're capable of."
Patricia clenched her fist with the revolver in it and tapped it against the brim of her hat, chewing on her tongue. They were going to die. It was going to be painful. And she was going to love every second of it. "Nah, that's okay," she spoke casually despite her growing bloodlust, "I'm sure they'll remember, just give me a minute to jog their memories." The blue and pink harlot smirked wryly as she faded back into nothingness, trailing a finger along Patricia's long hair before it was swallowed into her subconsciousness.

That barely even hurt, and it looked like he wasn't the only one that felt that way. The stranger thing was that it kind of looked like the girl's persona was coming forth by itself. Herself, he guessed. A handsy thing, whispering in their ears... Though what they said just now he could only guess.
It wasn't important right now. Weapon at the ready, he came in with a great, sweeping cut for the angel supporting the rest of them. "It's about time you stopped that!"

As the angel reeled from his ethereal blade, Cecill broke off and went for an overhead cut on the second.
Currently receiving a 55% defence buff from Rakukaja due to Strengths. Turn 2/3. Reaping Arms active. Dex attacks deal Dark damage. Turn 1/3.
Action:
Going for another soulbound attack on the right angel for another 20 Dark damage.

He sent the other staggering, and turned his attention to the one who had started all of this in the first place, sending a wide horizontal sweep their way.
