"Jeez... How long is this going to go on for..." The Dreedle would question mostly to himself as he shook himself all over again to clear the dust from his fur. He'd scan the void like space for a moment to see if he could tell how everyone else was doing, how they were holding up with the fight so far. Honestly he was surprised they were all still standing, this thing was strong and it sure hit hard. All things considered they were doing well, though he knew that was mostly due to Horny and his ability to keep their bodies strong. As such, Kuzi would quickly leap in the way of an attack that begun being thrown Onyx's way. "Nngrh..." Okay... This was starting to hurt more and more... This thing had to be nearly destroyed... Right? He'd once again shove himself up to all paws, though a lot slower than previous times. He was beginning to get worn out, a-and honestly kinda hungry again. Gah! How could he think of food at a time like this! D-denki was still standing up there strong, her raging confidence was still present within him. It was the only reason he was able to get back up time and time again.

Well…that answer didn’t make much sense. So the Aspect was then…ordering himself? That didn’t seem clear at all. “Then why are you doing this….?” He had a feeling there wouldn’t be a straight answer, but it was worth a try. Assuming they even managed to get out of here in one piece. Onyx would back up a few steps as fluffy jumped to take a hit again. “I don’t know…but better hope not much longer. I can’t keep constantly healing us much longer…” It was a little too often for his reserves, and they weren’t being given any time to rest…

This means that the man can naturally sense the current emotional states of the person/people that are around him, giving him the ability to understand them on a basic level, and be able to pick his own responses towards them more easily. (In combat, this ability allows Onyx to negotiate with enemies up to 5 levels higher than him, due to being able to be on the same wavelength as them by base)
—Racial Weakness Name: Emotion Overload —Description: All good things can turn bad in excess, and if there are people with extreme emotional states, or too many people with very conflicting ones, it can cause Onyx to become disoriented due to the overload of information his mind would need to process during such situations. (Gives a weakness to ailments in combat)

Nagami and the Rake would lock eyes and glare at each other. He would raise his sword in a defensive stance once again as he and the strange creature continued their battle of wits. “Anytime,” the demon would growl lowly as Little Bit thanked him for taking the blow that still stung even now. This creature was indeed an intriguing pain in the neck seeming to be able to communicate well enough with them as they tossed questions at it. As for the answer it gave back, the demon would tilt his head as he raised an eyebrow at this. What curious words and yet something was off on this. His eyes would narrow as he took note of the behavior of the Little Bit who seemed to be agitated with the situation and Nagami who seemed to be as hollow as the creature. Onyx would pose an interesting question before making mention of something bothersome as he caste a healing wave once more to them.
Feeling a bit better, but by no means less tired, the demon would hold his ground quietly agreeing with both Onyx and Little Bit on this matter of a long battle equaling bad things in the end. The battle was wearing them down for sure. They needed to wrap this up quickly, but while this creature was alive….
“You say such odd things, stranger. If you are one then why did you say he chose the target and commanded you?” he would ask not expecting a straight answer as he re positioned himself so he could moveto attack... only to find his world shifting again.
This time around, he would find himself in the woods still, but high up in a tree as strange black waters rushed by under a sky of grey. The rush of water filled his ears and the chill of the air nipped at his skin as he watched that strange water feeling uncomfortable and ill around it. He would see it, but no one else would.
In reality, the demon had become still his face emotionless and his eyes unfocused orbs as his hands hung loosely at his side as he swayed in place. He couldn’t attack or do anything, but stare at the image only he could see...

No answer? That was mildly disappointing, but perhaps for the moment it was more important that they were still alive and standing. It’d be pointless to get answered if they also got ravaged too hard. The Aspect was mumbling something about hurt though….were they finally making a dent in this thing? It would honestly be appreciated, and this was getting weirder with time either way. Their rifle holding friend was acting strangely, but as concerning as that could be, there was no time to be investigating that. “Right….” Onyx would squint at the enemy, this time having to take a break from the fight to make sure he could keep up later in case they still had more scruffle ahead of them.

As the Rake teleports behind Nagami he quickly whirls around, blocking the devastating blow, his katana quivered as he struggled to fight back against the immense strength of the monster. However, with surprising speed it follows up, this time finding its mark. Nagami quickly back peddles and resumes his defensive posture, ready for the next onslaught.

No answers and now it spoke of pain as it seem to falter in its steadiness for a moment. Hmm. Perhaps it was becoming weaker. Or at least he hoped so. He was beginning to get this sinking sensation that at the end of all this he was not going to be feeling the greatest. He knew it was a consequence of unlocking his powers. Knew it was a gamble that could either go really well or really bad depending on how goddess felt in the moment. On top of this, he was concerned about his allies as well. Onyx having to recharge his energy, Little Bit getting worn out from the constant beating that he subjected himself to and maybe even straining himself with the current form his other half took, and Nagami and his odd behavior. All of this concerned the creature making him wonder just how much longer these guys could be pushed before snapping and going on a down hill roll into Hell.
He would continue to wonder this as his eyes drifted back to the Rake. He still had some power left over so he might as well try to make the best of it. So then... Raising a thin finger he would summon the power of the earth again as he collected more of the things around them to form a ball which he would attempt to strike the Rake with once more.

It was fortunate that the horrific beast didn't pay Kuzi much attention with that onslaught of attacks, he could feel himself faltering. Something inside his head was pounding repeatedly and he felt as though he was losing consciousness whilst not actually feeling like he was falling asleep either. The fluff would stumble forwards slightly, almost purposefully slamming his head into the ground to try and snap himself out of it. "O-ow..." He'd remark after doing so, though at least felt as though he could still control himself for the moment at least now. He'd turn to face the others, it didn't seem like he was the only one that was suffering. They all were in their own ways, especially Nagami whom was the Rakes currently onslaught target of choice. A flicker of a confused smile would cross his face. T-that rifle dood... He was good at, blocking... Atta... At... At this point it seemed like any moment Kuzi's brain itself was about to switch off.
Although this bizarre feeling was being expressed through Denki as well. Throughout her entire body she could feel herself wavering, almost as if she was fading. Losing who she truly was. There was no time left, it had to be now. With the upmost last of her strength, she'd stand her ground one more time. Summoning forth a tremendous amount of wind that caused her fur to go wild around her as it circles her over and over again. Gaining speed, momentum and as much force as she could possibly muster in one go before letting out what could only be described as a pained shriek as she'd brunt the cyclone of rushing winds straight towards the Rake. Aiming dead center before attempting to rip the gale in two to apply an exceeding amount of force on the abomination in both directions in a final ditch effort to rip the vile beast in two.

Have you ever had that moment where you were so happy about something that you wanted to jump up down only for a few seconds later to not feel so good about what you had done? Like you had been lead into a trap and destroyed something you weren’t supposed to destroy? This was exactly the feeling Devi had as the power burst he was using wore off and he felt the strain of its use on his body.
However, he would not get sick this time around, but rather feel as if his whole understanding of the situation was shattered when that strange creature went down. Empty. They were Empty. Him. Commanding. One in the same. Fake. Real. These things tumbled through his mind keeping him quiet as the world around him shifted and once more they were back in the gloom of the Under.
He was aware they were in a room, but his eyes were mainly focused on the book that was on the ground. Another journal...just as promised, but was this the one HABIT had. It had a 2 on it yes, but the tape...where was the purple tape. Was there two journals to be had here or....? Hmm. The demon would stay still for a while, but upon hearing a familiar voice he would unfreeze and blink as his red eyes traveled over to the rabbit headed man.
“HABIT. Well, well so you did come back. That is impressive considering you left when all the fun began,” the demon would begin in calm tones before shifting in his spot to move forward. He would drift towards the journal and pick up it up as he stared at it for a bit before wrapping his arms around it for now. “Why did you leave instead of joining the fun?” he would ask as he looked back at HABIT for a moment seeing if he would get a straight answer before his eyes drifted to his allies looking them over. “Everyone okay?” he would purr, his tones oddly calm as he kept his thoughts hidden for now as his tailed swayed lightly.

Onyx Rhine
That…actually did it? To be honest, Onyx had almost expected this to take a while longer, rather than the fight having such an abrupt end. An odd one to boot as well. Empty, real…what were these claims supposed to mean? What kind of being was this Aspect? Now that he gave it a thought…they were never really told ‘what’ they were hunting, outside of the fact that it was necessary due to it being dangerous. Which it was seeing as they almost got beaten down into the ground just for stepping foot into this area…but still, what did it all mean? There were many pieces of the puzzle still missing, clearly.
There wouldn’t be much time to ponder that however, as with a blink, they were suddenly in a different part of the Under, which seemed to be just a random room. “That was…quick.”, Onyx would comment, black and white eyes narrowing in thought for a moment, before noticing that HABIT was back again. Well, that answered the wonders of whether the area did or not affect the guy back then. It clearly hadn’t. He would shake his head slightly. “I think we ought to be fine?”, he’d answer to Demix’s question as he glanced towards the rabbit headed man. “What’s going to happen now?”

Something had happened. Something bad. Despite being unsure what, it was clearly affecting both Denki and Kuzi negatively, though both in very different ways. Denki would revert to her usual self however a twisted look would be present in her eye, she felt such an urge to just explode with the power inside of herself. To just destroy any and all things that were around her. She'd turn a twisted head towards the Rake, actually wanting this fight to go on now. Yet the sight of the monster crumbling into dust brought her back just enough to her senses that she knew the fight didn't have to go on. Quickly she would dismiss herself without a word, she knew what she was capable of though wasn't all too sure how well she could control it at that moment so thought it best to just erase herself from the situation for now.
Kuzi on the other hand, would have a vacant look in his eye. Almost as if all connection from his brain to his body had been cut. The fluff would thud to the ground, unable to support himself to stand any longer. Falling briefly unconscious. He could still just about hear what was going on around him, though trying to piece together what any of the words meant was a lot harder of a task than it had any right to be. Where he was, what was being said, his whole brain... Felt empty. There was just a moment of nothing. As if something that had been there all along no longer was. Though what if there never was anything to begin with... The small creature would squirm on the ground slightly after some time had passed. His eyes slowly opening, yet he still would appear to be hundreds of miles away from reality if anyone looked at him. Emptiness... His stom-Grumble.

As the Rake crumbled away Nagami would stand still and revert to a standing posture before his head flops downward along with the rest of his body. His mind would slowly drift away, darkness filling his vision until he saw it, a tiny speck of light that grew brighter and brighter.

Are you ready?
I'm ready! Come find me!
A young boy, running through the forest, a grin spread from cheek to cheek. A lake could be seen in the distance, the light from the evening sun reflecting off of its surface. The boy runs, searching but cannot find what he seeks. His sandals thud against the forest floor as he peers around every corner. He seems confused, perplexed, and a little bit of frustration creeps into his expression. Yet he persists, because he made a promise...
I lunge forward, arm outstretched as the vision fades from my mind. My mind was blank... where was I? What am I doing again? Taking a look around I quickly come to a realization and dust myself off from the ground. "Whew that was the toughest brawl yet!" I say, pumping my fist in the air to celebrate our win before wincing and clutching my shoulder in pain. I was pretty banged up, maybe I should stay put for a bit. Although the memory of the battle seemed hazy even though it had just happened... Oh well, I'm sure everyone gave it their all. I eye HABIT warily before noticing the journal on the ground, "All that work and I guess this is all we have to show for it."
